As the owner of a Doberman, I am acutely aware of the need for regular heart checks and am thankful to Dr. Hickey and the team for keeping me informed on my dog’s cardiac health. Luckily, Rockville is under a hour away but even if it weren’t, I’d be happy to drive twice the distance.“

“I took in a fecal sample for a test. The two person team was efficient. My observation was that they did not greet me or acknowledge me when I stood at the booth where they were working. When they finally acknowledged my presence they were curt, and did not greet me or smile once during the whole ten minutes of my stay. I know that it’s more important to be efficient than nice, still… it made me feel unwelcome and that it was a big bother to be pleasant. I hope this comment is helpful.“
“Friendly, professional staff who work well with pet parents. There is a professional, friendly atmosphere and questions and concerns are addressed well. It’s also very helpful to walk out with the necessary medication(s) and very clear directions. There’s a feeling that your pet is in good hands.“

“Cherrydale Vet is fantastic! The staff are always very sweet and friendly with my dog -- she tends to be a bit anxious and hyper when she first comes in and they do a great job with giving her time to get familiarized with them and helping her settle down before proceeding with the examinations. In certain cases, they are also willing to give treatment advice over phone or email which can be really helpful in terms of saving us an unnecessary trip to the vet (not to mention a bill too!). Would absolutely recommend them for any pet owners.“

“Great place if you just need a quick exam and vaccines. Staff was very friendly and good with my dog. Dr. John was extremely personable, knowledgable, and patient. I never felt rushed. He answered all my questions and gave me some tips. I will be taking my cats to get their vaccines there now too. Do note, they aren't a full service vet, they don't offer any procedures or emergency services, but if all you need is a health exam and vaccines, this is a terrific and affordable option versus paying a typical vet office. Highly recommend.“

“Family Pet Vet is the absolute best. Dr. Wehrli is so compassionate and authentic. And, not only is Dr. Wehrli the best, but his staff is my absolute favorite. In particular Beatriz and Cai! They have so much love for all the animals. They are so kind and helpful. We had a really serious surgery with our older dog and they were so helpful in walking me through everything and getting him out and into the car to help me. When our dog ended up passing they were so compassionate. We now have a new puppy and they are just as loving. I feel like they are a truly family vet practice.“

“I don’t leave reviews often but I cannot emphasize what a wonderful experience this vet is. Wendy, at the front desk, is absolutely delightful and cares deeply for each animal that enters that place. The vet, Dr. Caldwell, is high energy, deeply knowledgeable, and “brings you along for the ride.” I’ve been dealing with a very sick rescue (my absolute baby) and they have handled each situation with practicality, expertise, and tender care. If you are thinking about joining this vet or switching… do it. Cannot recommend enough!“
