The communication via text / app is stelllar and the office automatically submitted a claim to our pet insurance. Dr Gordon had familiarized himself completely with our dog’s medical records and performed a thorough exam explaining his care plan in detail. Ample parking. Conveniently located. Highly recommend.”

“Forever Grateful. About 5 yr ago we rescued 3 week old kittens who had been brutalized by some kids. They were literally days from death. On our way back from where we collected them, I tried to find a vet who was willing to see them for very urgent care. My experience with the ER vet clinics in the DMV took them off the list as an option. I had never been to Liberty Falls and yet (after a lot of rejections by other vets) they told me to bring them in as soon as we could. The smallest and most damaged was too weak for the needed surgery but the vets scheduled the enucleation needed. These vets are so compassionate and it’s ALL about the animals. Still deeply grateful to them for saving all three. who are all loved and happy.”

He is an extra sensitive dog who requires sedated visits and some creative solutions to getting him the care he needs, while also limiting his stress as much as possible. The staff at Clarendon have been extremely gentle, understanding, and patient with finding solutions that work for him, while also giving him great medical care. Without a truly caring Fear Free vet like Clarendon, I don't know what we would do!”

Despite the bit of a trek from our home, we wouldn’t think to bring our five-year-old Cavapoo or four-year-old Brittany to another veterinarian. The staff at this locally owned and operated hospital treats our pets with the utmost care and attention, making them feel like family. The service provided here is distinct compared to animal hospitals owned and operated by large national firms. “I lived with my dog Samson across four states over the course of ten years, and going to Heart and Paw is the only time he became obsessed with the vet. He cried when we drove past it like we were passing a dog park. When we arrived for appointments multiple vet techs would run out to fawn over him. If he had to go in the back you could hear everyone oohing and awwing over him. Eventually he earned the tag of “sweetest dog ever” in his pet profile.<br><br>When he passed unexpectedly at an emergency vet, I stopped by Heart and Paw to give them a card and a picture. The vet techs held me and cried with me. Dr. Cleveland stopped what she was doing and, because he had ultimately been euthanized, assured me that I had done the right thing and that she would have made the same decision.<br><br>They gave Samson so much more than required while he was alive, and gave me so much more than required once he passed. I’ll love them forever.”
“I have a Service Dog. Not a typical Service Dog breed (Akita), but highly trained. The staff saw her as BOTH and treated her with respect. Nurse Ny was very thorough. When I asked if she could put together a treatment plan, she took it out of her pocket!<br>Dr. Edwards was cordial and accommodating to ALL of her patients. She was also very thorough and it seemed to be her usual practice for new patients. She kept coming up with points of care that needed to be covered.<br>I wish I would have stopped by sooner! Definitely recommend! 👌”
“Falls Road Veterinary Hospital is EXTRAORDINARY! I do not live in Maryland. I spent several months in the area, and my elderly Shitzu needed vaccinations. They knew I lived in AZ and would not be a regular customer. Dr. Forbes was concerned about the size of my dog's nipples. I had asked my LA vet and my vet in Seattle about why they were enlarged. Dr. Forbes did not dismiss this condition. Dr. Forbes, who knew she probably wouldn't see my dog again, said this wasn't normal, and she wasn't satisfied not knowing what was happening. She wanted to research what this could be, and then she emailed me with three possible reasons. I am impressed. She truly cared about my dog. The front office team is pleasant, professional, and welcoming. I strongly recommend Falls Road Vet. I would give Dr. Forbes 10 stars if I could.”
