I had done PT with Alicia at Orthopedics Plus. I was deciding between a huge fitness chain and Spectrum. I emailed Alicia for her opinion. She did not trash the competition but pointed out the benefits of small group training coupled with the symbiosis with Orthopedics Plus.
I did have a physical issue unrelated to my training and had to do PT at OP with Alicia. She and my trainer Brett put together a coordinated plan so I could heal while still doing fitness training.
I am 69 years old. I have lost 25 lbs, was counseled on how to change my diet and feel in better shape than I have felt for years. My trainer Brett is great. He is able to make sure everyone in the group is busy doing exercise all the time tailoring each group members activities specifically to the individual. The group members are constantly supporting and cheering each other on. The flexibility of having to change your schedule due to vacations etc is made easy by the office coordinator Tiffany. It’s a totally supportive situation and I give it my highest recommendation“

I walked in to Nadine warmly greeting me at the door, as well as other bright & smiling staff faces. She walked me to this clean and beautiful massage room that had a sauna and an Icoone machine for lymphatic drainage. She gave me a relaxing and healing hour massage that was whole body, but also focused on problem areas. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I can tell she is very experienced. She also prioritized my comfort level with everything, which made me feel at ease.
Afterwards she introduced me to David, who gave me a mini therapeutic stretch session after we were discussing my tendon issues from sports injuries, which also helped a lot, as he was also very knowledgeable.

91 Sidney St, Cambridge“I love Catalyst gym! As a newcomer in town, the staff at Catalyst gym were so welcoming to me. I entered with a goal to get in healthier shape for my pregnancy. I was able to work out 2x a week with Danny and Ryan until I was 36 weeks pregnant. Each trainer had a nice balance of challenging me to ensure I was getting stronger and increasing my stamina, but also listened to me regarding my pregnancy progression and how I was feeling at each session. The trainer/trainee relationship with both Danny and Ryan felt very collaborative and they listened to my goals and made sure I was able to attain them safely, and make adjustments as needed for my growing belly and when I couldn't get off the floor as easily! I credit Catalyst Gym with my ability to feel healthy and fit throughout my pregnancy and motivating me to keep going! Special shout out to Ryan (a father himself) as he had some insider knowledge about training throughout pregnancy. The community at Catalyst is wonderful. I loved the small groups (max of 3 people) and everyone I worked out with was so nice. Catalyst Gym is also very accommodating when I needed to reschedule my sessions due to illness or doctors appointments. My family recently moved away from Cambridge, otherwise I'd be back at the gym! I miss it LOTS.“

Before starting, I was very nervous because I’m overweight and didn’t feel confident enough to join. I also have knee issues, which made me hesitant. But from the very first class, Laura made me feel completely comfortable.
She is incredibly professional, patient, and attentive. She takes the time to understand my body’s needs and always adjusts the exercises so they are safe and effective for me. She’s also very mindful of my knee, giving me modifications that help strengthen it without causing pain.
What I love most is how supportive she is—she encourages me without pressure, and I always leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of myself. Starting Pilates was a big step for me, and I’m so grateful I did. I can’t recommend Laura enough for anyone who’s looking for a safe, welcoming, and empowering Pilates experience. I only take the Pilates classes but she also do provide other fitness services.“

“I’ve been coming to this gym for about a year now, and it has completely transformed how I feel about fitness. Grayson has been my main personal trainer, and he’s genuinely exceptional — consistently prepared, incredibly knowledgeable, and always able to strike that perfect balance between pushing me and supporting me. He pays attention to the details, adjusts sessions based on how I’m feeling that day, and explains the “why” behind every movement. Training with him has made me stronger, more confident, and way more consistent with my routine than I ever thought I’d be.
I’ve also had a few sessions with Chi and Aidan, and each of them brings something unique to the table. Chi, who’s also the owner, deserves a special mention. He’s incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely cares about every person who walks in. You can feel that the community and atmosphere here come directly from his leadership and personality.
The gym is clean, welcoming, and never overcrowded. Workouts are tailored, effective, and actually enjoyable. After a year here, I genuinely look forward to training and feel better than ever.

“Reimagym is more than just a gym. It’s a community of radiant people - some just also happen to be wonderfully knowledgeable coaches and friendly staff!
Pre-Reimagym, I was struggling to find a routine and community again after having moved. Other gyms didn't seem to offer what I was looking for, or communicate using inclusive language that made me feel sure or safe.
My first introduction to Reimagym was through comments on an FB post, and right off the bat, the vibe was.. brighter. More inviting. People spoke highly of it from a place of gratitude and love. After visiting the website and doing an in-person trial, I was reassured to continue with a membership by the inclusive and supportive language and the kindness I was met with! Every single person, coaches and members alike, radiates inclusivity and support.
I am so so so grateful to have been led to Reimagym. I feel so much better and stronger having a routine again - Even when I don't want to go to the gym, I still go and am *always* glad that I went. Not only for the great workouts, but also to see the lovely people that find themselves there as well. It's hard to feel lonely when you're surrounded by people who are rooting for you!!
