i had an amazing microdermabrasion facial here today with tayla! i almost fell asleep several times because it was so relaxing. also, they give a discount if you're a new customer!
it can be pretty hard to find, but they have easy to follow directions on their instagram. basically, you enter through door 120A, take an elevator to the second floor and walk down the hall. there's not a sign or anything (that i could see) outside the building with the business name so you can get lost if you don't know where you're going.
also, because it's in the cummings center, you wont have any trouble finding parking, which is a plus!

I booked with Bryan and he was a super chill, kind, and thoughtful barber. I've never had a hair stylist ask me what I felt was "missing" from previous ones I've been to. For me, it was definitely a more purposeful dialogue towards making the transition to an undercut with my particular hairline, thickness, etc. taken into account. Bryan had no problem fulfilling this gap. He even taught me more about the direction my hair naturally fell and helped me find a more optimal way to style it. I left with my favorite haircut thus far, granted my hair needs a little more growth to get to that undercut look I want —but he set me on the right path to it. I'll definitely be back, because I trust that he can help get me there ??

Stella has cut my hair several times- basic trims to totally new styles. I keep going back because she gives great haircuts and is reasonably priced. She is willing to hear what cut I have in mind and then, knowing my hair, she adapts it to make sure it “works”. And she “gets” curly hair. I recommend her!

I have been patronizing Nancy’s salon for many years. She is an excellent hairdresser who keeps up with all aspects of her craft. I would not hesitate to recommend Nancy and,in fact, I do. Nancy’s perms, wash and sets, and coloring are the best. She is very proficient. I appreciate her skills and ethics as owner and operator of her shop in North Beverly. It is across the street from the North Beverly train stop.
I went with Pretté Blowdry for my wedding hair & makeup team and they were fantastic! I had 10 bridesmaids and 2 moms all looking for different services, and Darla, Christie, and Stacy were so great meeting everyone’s needs. My hair has a hard time holding a curl, so I got a blowout with Christie the day before to prep my hair. On wedding day, Christie did Hollywood waves with extensions and it lasted ALL NIGHT! With July heat and dancing all night, I couldn’t believe how well my hair held. All my bridesmaids were super happy with how their hair and makeup came out! Would definitely recommend this team for any hair/makeup needs!

I had an amazing experience here! They took me last minute and gave me the absolute cutest Easter nails. I had acrylics so they gave me a fill then helped me pick out the colors to accomplish this look and added chrome on top. I’m obsessed! My mom recommended I come here and I’m so happy I did! I got a gel pedicure with a soak off. Other nail salons I’ve been to charge more for less and are done in less than 30 minutes for a gel pedicure. The price was well worth the service I received with 3 coats of color. It was light purple but not all nail salons do more than 2 coats to save time. I appreciated that. All of the staff were kind and welcoming in a clean environment. Definitely coming back!

I got a deep cleansing facial with Besa and it was honestly such a good experience. One other time I got this treatment at a different salon, and my face ended up super red and sore for way longer than it should’ve, so I was kinda hesitant to try again. But Besa made sure everything was gentle and easy. I felt super comfortable the whole time. My skin looked clean and refreshed after, not irritated at all. I have been going to Mermaid Hair for the past few years. It’s a quaint little place located in Beverly. They are known for their vibrant colors. Chloe is my stylist and she is extremely talented and knowledgeable about techniques, vibrant colors, and making sure that she understands exactly what the client is requesting. She pays attention to the details and will even be as transparent and honest to say that what the client wants may not be the best for their hair type
and comes up with a workaround solution. Consistency is so important when getting your hair colored and Chloe nails it every single time. I went from being a blonde to this beautiful copper color. Any color or copper/red is so hard to maintain and single time I leave the salon I feel like a new person with soft, shiny and vibrant hair. The prices are very fair for the service that is rendered. I highly recommend mermaid Hair. Chloe is amazing and very down to earth. So happy that I found her!

Alex truly is awesome. He has come out to my place a couple times now. Once to clean up after our sump pump leaked and again this weekend to clean our hall and bedroom carpets that I am ashamed to admit hadn’t been cleaned in a couple years at best. I didn’t think he’d get them much cleaned BUT he got them looking new again with the exception of one of stain idk where it came from but compared to how they looked, they’re amazing now and I am no longer ashamed to have people over. We had a great experience with Works by JD. They were helpful and professional in scoping our kitchen renovation. I have had three projects done by Godfrey Design-Build (enclosed front porch, full bathroom with separate stand up shower and new back porch which allowed space for a new half bath and laundry). Pat and his team listened to what I wanted and created ideas and plans which were exactly as I had envisioned them in my mind.
Barrowclough came highly recommended, especially Paul Newman. I had seen his work at a couple homes. It was perfect. When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter. I would give it 5 stars, if I knew where to post that!

I called a few Cummings Center cleaning folks and AC was the only one where a person answered. Within minutes I had my appt booked that same weekend. Not only was the business responsive and easy to reach by phone (and later by text); my space was also cleaned (see after pics). Simple, responsive, effective. 5/5 recommend.

From the start, Nicole developed a great plan when we agreed upon a contract. Once started, a project manager was typically on site and would meet with me, or send me photos of progress. They even work with an app where they post progress/photos if you would like to track when away. The team that actually painted did it with precision and I was happy with the outcome. Wow! I'm new to the area and picked this dentist because of the high ratings. I was not disappointed. I've just had my cleaning done by Ellen and she was wonderful. She was very gracious and asked throughout the cleaning if I was alright. I even got to hold the suction and do it myself as needed. I was given a complimentary fluoride treatment and a goodie bag of toothpaste, brush, floss, and mouthwash. Nothing hurt at all when I left the office. And my teeth had not been cleaned properly in at least 6 years because we have been living overseas. I had a 3D scan of my teeth taken today as well. What great technology! I'd highly recommend this dentist office! 5 stars!

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. The longer it's been, the more effective, looking back, was the treatment I received from Sheri Russell and the Russell Center. I've had chronic achilles tendonosis in both feet for 15 years. Two rounds of electric shockwave therapy helped; constant physical therapy helped; but I was losing the battle and was really worried that my tennis and hiking days were just over. And I'm just in my late 60s -- unfair! But Sheri is that rare practitioner who is a problem-solver. After several rounds of shockwave therapy, she was puzzled that my feet weren't feeling better. I have been diagnosed with "haglund's deformity," which basically is calcium-deposit heel spurs on the back of my heels. Sheri suggested that these heel spurs were rubbing against the inside heel of my shoes, constantly irritating the tendons and not permitting them to heal. She rummaged in a closet, came up with some sticky protective wrap, cut out two "donuts," and suggested I wear them on my heel spurs for a few days. Presto. I went out and bought about 10,000 tiny pink callus cushion donuts and I wear one on each heel religiously every day. I have not had a bit of trouble with my achilles tendons ever since. I can't thank Sheri and her center enough. Perhaps my case was a strange kind of plumber's-fix -- but she was the one who came up with it and it has worked like magic. Whatever ails you, in the back and joint department, I encourage you to give these folks a try. They are true problem-solvers and medical engineers. And they're really nice people too! Both are compassionate listeners and intelligent caregivers who have more than adequately met my needs and expressed concerns. Dr. Friedman is very good at explaining and he always calls to follow up and make sure my dog is doing better. I feel like he really cares about the animals and does not suggest unnecessary tests. Everyone is very nice and caring.
Jessica and the Myofascial release work she does has been an integral part of my healing journey. She is intuitive, knowledgeable and thoughtful about the status of my health and how to support me. Her space is very calming and I always leave relaxed. Myofascial is great for anyone who’s done massage and acupuncture and looking for a modality that supports the connective tissue. I sought relief of pain in knees and shoulders, and couldn’t have been luckier to stumble upon Colleen at Sage Healing Massage. Other than that type of help in PT, which I was hoping to replicate, I’d never had any type of massage before. Because of that, I had some criteria, primary being that the business exuded professionalism. Colleen’s website tells the story. Admittedly for me, the detail there, something about the black scrubs, and a useful post entitled “What to Expect for Your First Massage” told me I was heading in the right direction. I’ve been to four visits at this point, on a two-week cadence, with good results in both my shoulders and knees. Each visit starts with a conversation about planning the time to get out of it what I need, and the communication continues during the session. I really didn’t know what to expect, but at this point, Colleen has taught me that I’m the one who decides that. She’s amazing. I highly recommend Colleen at Sage Healing Massage. This massage is extremely interactive, and is essential for people who have chronic pain.Her educational background in clinical physical therapy as well as massage therapy and several in-depth techniques will make you come out of a session with a different body than you came in with.It only took her one 90-minute session to work on my hip and piriformis syndrome to completely release the tension and tightness. I ended up going to my chiropractor the next day and he was amazed at how my body accepted her work, and how it didn't tense back up immediately.I strongly recommend Hands On Therapy to everyone.Disclaimer: This style of massage isn't for relaxation inherently, but as an added long term benefit once you get off the table and moving more comfortably in everyday life.
Trish knows her stuff! I went in complaining of specific body pain issues and Trish came highly recommended. Well, she spent 90 minutes working on lengthening and softening tight tissue while educating me along the way. It was both an intense AND relaxing 90 minutes. I'll be going back!
I have been here on multiple occasions and have never had a bad experience. The staff are all very attentive and ensure I am as comfortable and relaxed as I can be. They also do great deep tissue work. Highly recommend!
Both my wife and I look forward to each session with Jenny. I tell her she has magic hands. I'd never had a massage before being referred to her by my wife, who had been to a few other therapists before discovering Jenny. Now she may be my one and only. But the whole experience of being there is relaxing from the moment my tired aching body walks in the door to the moment my relaxed and invigorated body walks back out.
I've gone to a few massage places in the area and had both good and not so good experiences, but this one was really great. I love the low lighting in the place. I don't know who would want a massage in bright light inside of a building! The massage itself was really different from a lot of the others I've had - hard to describe how, but I felt really good after. I even had a couple of flashes or "visions" while being massaged - just images of trees and a sunny meadow. The relaxed and revitalized feeling lasted a few days after the massage, which is not my usual experience - a lot of the time, I get tense again the next day. After this treatment at BodiScience, I still might get tense from work, but I was able to shift back into the relaxed mode quite easily. Courtney was great!

This was my first experience with acupuncture and being unfamiliar with the practices of Eastern medicine I will admit to some skepticism of acupuncture and shiatsu. I went to see Naomi for lower back pain and what I suspected was a strained muscle in the shoulder. Naomi was very meticulous in determining the problem before starting treatment and recorded all my comments at each of my visits. I went for four sessions, the first two combining shiatsu with acupuncture and the second two with acupuncture alone. Treatments were soothing and relaxing. The first treatment completely eliminated my lower back pain. Over the course of two weeks the pain associated with my strained muscle was significantly reduced in intensity. Each time I left after treatment I felt relaxed and felt I was responding to treatment. So I have been surprised and happy with the effect that Naomi's work has had on reducing my back pain. Naomi is highly professional, communicative and provides an environment of calm and healing in her acupuncture studio. If you're considering acupuncture as a therapy for back pain I can highly recommend Naomi.
I can't even describe how thankful I am for my amazing instructors, Matt and Jeff! Before this course I had never sat on a motorcycle and had zero idea what to expect from the course.
After the first day I had a basic understanding but couldn't do a 90 degree turn from a stop for the life of me. I kept overthinking, NOT TURNING MY HEAD!!!, and straightening the bars because of bad clutch control. Dropped the bike twice, once turning left, once right. That was the last exercise of the day and went home thinking I had zero chance of passing the exam and motorcycling wasn't meant for me :(
Next day I show up early and asked about the right and left hand turns from a stop and Matt offered to help me with it before the class. I got a 30 minute FREE private lesson basically. Insane!
End of the second day I almost passed the exam with a perfect score! The instructors genuinely care if you do well! 10/10 will recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn how to ride the safe way!
If you are thinking about taking this course do it! I know that people can be anxious about riding a motorcycle (I know because I was), but you will do great, as long as you listen to the instructors! Just show up with an open mind and ready to learn.

I have heard rumors from my family that drivers ed is boring and tedious process. I recently completed the drivers ed portion with Triadd. Needless to say that it was the most wonderful experience I could have hoped for. Huge shoutout to Gary and Jack for being engaging, informative, knowledgeable, funny instructors. They genuinely made the drivers ed portion something to remember. I could not be more pleased with my drivers ed experience, and I would recommend anyone to Triadd driving school.
