I have been having my hair cut and colored by Cala for the past 36 years. I am not a curly girl, but rather an older woman who likes consistency in cuts and not a lot of change or surprises. Though the Salon specializes in Curly Girl services, Cala is also a skilled straight hair stylist and color expert. She listens to what I ask for and keeps careful notes on past preferences. I have VERY thick curly hair. I’ve had haircuts at some of the best MA salons, costing hundreds. I’ve done so much research on best curly cut spots. I happened to see people on a TikTok video all commenting to come to this salon for a curly cut. So I booked an appointment with Steph on a whim. I’m SO HAPPY I found her! This is the best cut I’ve ever had. I felt heard. She gave me layers that I’ve been begging other stylists to do for years. It feels light but we kept so much length. I’ve been taking my daughter here for over 10 years. She hated her hair until we found Cala Rene and the Diva cut for curly hair. I now also have learned how to take care of curly hair properly. It’s never too late to learn new tricks. Highly recommend and can’t say enough about how excellent the service is as well as all the stylists!!
