We use Full Nelson for all our Plumbing and HVAC needs. Today we had Colton out to take care of installing a new bathroom faucet and also repairing and partial new install of an outside faucet. I desperately needed a haircut and came across Manifested. Cassandra was able to fit me in to her schedule and did an amazing job! This is the place to go.
I’m the manager of Zen Head KC head spa, and we rent two different rooms from Image Studios.
We also have a sister business, Luxury Brow + Skin in the Crossroads District. I mention this because we are in a unique position to be able to compare a traditional space rental to the rental of a studio suite.
I could get into all kinds of logistics and financial details, but one of the main things that stands out to me is the safety aspect. There are cameras in the building that can be checked immediately if there are any questions. There’s an app that tenants must have so they can get in and out of the building after hours, so everything is tracked.
Maybe they could use another washer and dryer in the building, but that’s certainly something that does not come with a building when you rent downtown. Nor do you get the cameras or the extra safety measures.
I think this is a wonderful business model for the price. You can customize your room and there’s a portal for any maintenance issues.
Again, I could get into lots more technical business “stuff,” but we have done nothing but thrive since we moved in early 2025.
Come on in and take a tour! And check out all the wonderful business professionals in the building! It really is a great situation where you can relax at the head spa and then saunter down the hall to get your nails done!
Edited to add: the people who run the building are very friendly and sometimes they’ll surprise tenants with donuts or lunch or little gifts! Again, not something you get when you are grinding away at your own place somewhere else!
Edited to add: be aware that the male system could use a little help. The mail is all just put into a bench with a lid and you have to dig through it to find your mail. There’s lots of mail in there from tenants who aren’t there anymore. There should be more of a mailroom system in the break room. I also think it would really help clients if there were some sort of receptionist at the front to greet them, handle gift cards, building issues, etc. it’s a little strange, not having some sort of manager on site all the time.
They actually want to listen . And wait before telling u what’s wrong with your teeth . Doesn’t get better than that

Wow! I’ve never been more impressed with a business offering (actually insisting) to do everything to make things right for the client. I had booked appointments for two blowouts for a wedding I was attending in KC. Unfortunately something happened to our appointments. The salon owner came in to the salon, and two stylists happily worked us in and we left looking fabulous. Seriously, the most lovely accommodating people. If I lived here, there’s nowhere else I’d go. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I was searching around online for a barber with good reviews, and I came across Chali on Google. I decided to reach out, and I could not be happier that I did. I just had my haircut by Chali this afternoon, and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out (so is my wife). Chloe Ebeling did a FABULOUS job! I had been driving 4 hours back home (Hay’s, KS) to my salon because nobody in KC could nail this red with the AVEDA color that I love. I’m posting some of the color pictures and may come back to add more. Mind you, these photos are with clouds out! In the sunlight, it very literally sparkles!

Hailee did a phenomenal job giving my 7 year old a perfect cut for a new school year. She also painted her nails and gave her sparkly hair extensions to make her feel super special for her birthday too. She was so sweet, patient and attentive to my daughter and myself. She wash and blew dry her hair too and loved it!

After 25 years I decided to grow my beard back and within a month I needed a trim. Now I’ve been back 3 times to keep from getting to look by Gabby Hayes, the old codger from the 50’s and 60’s. Jake in the last chair seems to know what I want to look like. Cheaper than the salon I used to go to.

I always appreciate Lori's warm and professional atmosphere. Her suite is adorable, and she has lots of color choices and options. Her terms and policies are laid out in a way that's easy to understand, and I definitely appreciate that she holds her clients to a high standard so that no one has to wait, unlike at most salons. I have been places where my appointments have been pushed back because the person before me came late to their appointment, or the staff accepted a walk-in ahead of my appointment. That will not happen with Lori. She is always prompt and efficient. Will never go anywhere else! Thank you!
KAI did an amazing job on my nails! Her attention to detail is incredible, and she was so kind and welcoming throughout the entire appointment. I accidentally broke a nail (my own fault), and Kai was so sweet and got me in quickly to fix it. The whole experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend coming here.

This was my first time going to this salon as a recommendation from a co-worker and I was beyond impressed. The ambiance is very welcoming, the areas are clean, the massage chairs are extra comfy but the best part is the staff. I had Jessy. I went in to do a gel pedicure and it came out beautifully. As I was talking to her I shared that I had not had a manicure in several decades and she was so kind to tell me about the different options and something I might want to do in a future visit. However I asked if I could do it on the spot after the pedicure and she said sure. I'm so glad I did. This is my new favorite place to get my nails done. There's even a cash card to get money off of future visits although they do take credit cards. I can't say enough nice things about the place or the people working there.
They are all very good at what they do, I prefer to go to Kelly!
My only thing I with the salad did is when manicure is done baggage lotion on the hands.

I have been a salon owner in the sola suites for over 20 years. I love this place. It’s a carefree, beautiful, safe place, fun atmosphere and trendy salon environment. I couldn’t recommend sola salons more. They are truly the best and you are very well taken care of like family ☺️

I love being able to pop in here and have Prithi wax and thread my brows! They do such a great job and are very honest as well. I asked whether she thought I should do a brow tint as well, and she said, “Nah. I think you’re fine the way it is!”. She could’ve easily up charged and recommended more services, but I really appreciate that she’s so honest. Happy I found this place a few months ago!
I did not know what to expect the first time I came in to see Summer. I came out of my first appointment not only looking younger but feeling mentally recharged. I've continued to go to her and by keeping up with my appointments my stress is kept at bay and I'm receiving more compliments on how much younger I look. I love that she's helped me not only with my confidence but my overall health. Highly recommend this woman!

This was the best spa experience! My husband has tried to book me a massage for 3 other birthdays (at other places) and they were all a flop. This time for my birthday he did some research and picked the Woodhouse spa. Woodhouse knocked it out of the park! It’s such a relaxing and cozy environment and they truly thought of everything. The robes and sandals are such a nice touch. Destiney did a deep tissue and hot stone massage and it was perfect! She listened to feedback and adjusted to give the perfect for me amount of pressure. She got my knots out but it was still relaxing and she was easy to talk to. The retreat room was such a lovely way to start and end my session. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again, I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!

We have used Steve’s flooring in both of the houses we’ve owned. We’ve been very happy with the carpeting. And they refinished and added hardwood on the main floor if both houses and it looks amazing :) great people to work with!

Dr Huber gave me the best dental and oral exam I have ever experienced. The office equipped with state of the art technology for 360 degree X-rays and other diagnostics. Dr Huber patiently takes your dental health history and the. Uses the technology to show you his observations and course of action He is a great communicator and very patient.

Yesterday, I was blessed to be able to go in with my grandson while he had a tooth extracted. Dr. Donna Thomas was very professional, but yet very nurturing to not only the patient but to me while we were experiencing this procedure. I was so touched with her kind and professional words she spoke to my grandson while doing a difficult task. Dr. Thomas spoke to my 7 yr. old grandson in a way that he completely trusted her by holding still and listening to her guidance.When she finished, I had to hug her and thanked her for the great experience we both had. She's awesome! Wish I could have had that kind of experience when so was a child.
I was have pain with a tooth, they got me in quick, figured out. Nice group!! Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable.
Dr Dinkel and staff are so caring and kind. I was to the point of saying yes to having another fusion for spinal stenosis until I started seeing him and because of his care, that is no longer in my future. He would call or text to check on me after treatment just to make sure I was still doing ok. The spinal decompression made my pain better and overall made me feel alive again.
I had my first appointment today with Dr. Thomas and I have to say I have not been to another Chiropractor like him. I love the fact that he is a Christian he even prayed and it is just such a peaceful place and I had not felt so peaceful as I did today when I left that office.
I’ve been in so much pain for over a week, and Dr Aimee listened, heard, and tested me before treatment. I did equestrian and other high impact sports when I was young & have owned salons for 20 yrs. As a result, chiropractic care is a part of life for me. This is by far the best practice I’ve ever visited. Have regularly visited Stephen since 2012. I’ve seen it all in Chiropractors over 25 yrs. They are 100% professional. Philosophy to “best approach” definitely varies with chiropractors, but KC Sports Docs perfectly combine sports therapy (or repetitive motion injury in my case) with traditional alignment techniques. Highly recommend for anyone, especially those who have a physically demanding job or lifestyle.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hannah Vaughn!! (We followed her from her previous practice. She has always been so supportive and thorough with our dog, Ivy.) Everyone there “front of the house to back of the house” is incredibly kind. 10/10 would recommend! We recently relocated to another state and miss Dr. Vaughn and the entire team immensely.

Sydney gave me a great massage. I had not had one by her in a number of weeks & I really missed her style of massages! She asked me several times if the pressure was OK. She is always friendly & professional. She loosened my neck so that I could get a good chiropractic adjustment afterwards. She did a great job as usual. Sydney is a keeper!
Dr. Alexander is a Godsend! I had been sick for years & no one could figure out what was wrong with me. After working with Dr. Alexander, we not only figured it out but we developed a successful treatment plan. She genuinely cares about each person she sees & helping them get healthy/stay healthy is her top priority. Olivia & Christine are absolutely amazing as well… always very helpful when I call or come in. The new location is very serene & exudes positive & peaceful vibes. Would highly recommend! 5 stars+!!
Any time my back pain flares up, I visit here to get fixed. Sunshine works miracles. I highly recommend her deep tissue massage. My sciatica goes away for months to a year after I get her deep tissue massage.

April was amazing! I had bad neck and shoulder pain, so I saw April for a massage. She was so kind. I could tell she listened because she focused the whole session on fixing my specific pain. Absolutely recommend seeing April for your massage needs!
While I’ve had facials at Hand and Stone with add-on treatments in the past, today I opted for a classic facial. Ryleigh was professional and caring in understanding what my needs were and in examining my skin and offering suggestions. She took the time to provide advice on my at-home skincare routine based on what I described without any type of sales pressure to purchase products; she seemed truly more interested in making sure I was getting the proper care for my skin than in making a sale. I felt pampered and relaxed throughout the session, and I plan to make all my future facial appointments with her. (The previous facial specialists to whom I have gone at Hand and Stone were just as professional and considerate. I simply was especially impressed with Ryleigh’s personality and approach, which won me over to becoming a regular future client.)
