I have been looking for a barber since I moved to KC from Springfield MO. I have been going to Hudson / Hawk for years and my old barber Nico was amazing and it’s been hard to find a replacement. I’m so happy I found Britny. They are absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend everyone to have Britny as their barber. 10000 / 10. Thank you Britny you’re awesome!
As a trans person, getting haircut can always be an adventure. You never know how you’ll be received or if your stylist understands what you’re asking for. But, I had such a good experience with Taylor Wilburn. She was very nice and gave me the exact cut I was looking for! She never made me feel awkward or exoticized even once! For any other queer people in the area who are nervous about getting a haircut, I can’t recommend her enough!

Hudson / Hawk has been a long favorite of mine. I have been going to them for as long as I can remember. The experience was always good. I was in at one point and had a hair stylest that seemed to be rushed and seemed to have a rough day. It's not common for that to happen. Upon the haircut being completed by the first stylist, the other stylist waiting on a client noticed that I was not satisfied with my current state. She was more than happy to help with my haircut and did the utmost to listen to my concerns. She (I wish I could say names for Recognition) is my barber now.
