This was the best spa experience! My husband has tried to book me a massage for 3 other birthdays (at other places) and they were all a flop. This time for my birthday he did some research and picked the Woodhouse spa. Woodhouse knocked it out of the park! It’s such a relaxing and cozy environment and they truly thought of everything. The robes and sandals are such a nice touch. Destiney did a deep tissue and hot stone massage and it was perfect! She listened to feedback and adjusted to give the perfect for me amount of pressure. Shirodhara Scalp Massage - amazing! Highly recommend if you have drier skin and/or 50+. The oil hydrates your scalp and hair. They also give massage attention to your neck and shoulders. The hardest part is the very thing the treatment aims to assist, quieting one’s mind. That is a Herculean feat in my book. Thankfully my massage therapist, Rowan, was up to the task. I schedule a Shirodhara every month and I can tell I need it as the time gets closer. My hair is more flyaway and unruly without the hydration this treatment provides.
