We highly recommend Chris and his team. They did a fabulous job on refinishing our old floors and lacing in the new to match the existing hardwoods. Plus, Chris was a pleasure to work with on our project.
About Precision Hardwood Floors
Precision Hardwood Floors has been a part of the Kansas City community for over 10 years, growing from humble beginnings in 2006. The company’s goal is to perpetually improve the product while keeping the cost low and the client at the center of the work. This client-centric workflow sets them apart from competitors, as each project is customized to align with the tastes and preferences of the client. The wood used is of the highest quality and sustainably grown by a local mill. This small, Kansas City bred flooring company brings sustainable and affordable floors to the community with an air of quality and precision.
Cris and his team are amazing and masters of their trade. They refinished floors in a 100 year old house, installed red oak hardwood floors to match existing ones in a 1954 ranch style home, and removed tile and carpet to install new floors. The work was done thoroughly and with attention to detail, and the end result was beautiful and exactly what was wanted. They solved tricky transitions in older homes, lacing new flooring with old to create smooth, seamless looks. The team was great with communication, kept clients informed, and pivoted easily when the project added more. Clean up was terrific, and they stuck almost perfectly to their timeline. The work is outstanding, and customers simply couldn't be happier. Precision Hardwood Floors is highly recommended to anyone who wants to update the look of their home.

We were referred to Chris with Precision Hardwood Floors and he surpassed our expectations. Chris and his crew were 5 Star from start to finish. They were professional and wonderful to work with. Chris was always prompt to reply to messages, always showed up and was reliable. Chris is very passionate about his work, which by the way was excellent. He may not be the cheapest, which we learned can be a tell-tale sign of a problem contractor, but his prices were also very competitive. They took extreme care in every step of the process of replacing the carpeted areas with hardwoods up to our existing hardwood areas. They sowed in the new to the original and you can't notice any difference after refinishing them. They also replaced the carpeted staircase with stunning full wood steps. We absolutely love them and everyone that sees them compliments us on how wonderful they look. I can't say enough about his service, his work ethic, his craftsmanship and professionalism. I believe it would be a mistake to not give him a call to evaluate and quote your project.

Chris and his team did a wonderful job on our hardwood floors. Chris was very knowledgeable about the existing wood in our home and provided recommendations to make sure the new hardwoods flowed nicely. The team was prompt, professional, polite and worked very quickly so we were able to move into our new home. So happy with our choice to work with them, highly recommend.
