3740 25th Ave, Schiller Park“When it came time to replace our 20 year old siding on our 55 year old home, we knew we needed help in modernizing it. We took a chance on Real Exteriors based on their 5 star reviews and we were not disappointed. We liked Joe’s advice and price so much we didn’t feel the need to pursue other bids. Joe and his crew were professional, communicated well and worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner. After removing the old siding they identified and repaired several areas that had not been done properly by the previous siding company such as poor caulking, lack of insulation, window trim not installed correctly, etc. They took pride in their work and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied customers. We have received so many compliments on the new look and couldn’t be happier.“

6726 W 92nd St, Oak Lawn“We hired Dudek Exteriors to replace a couple of Pella windows based on my neighbors recommendation. One was a bay window that could not be opened and another one had rotted out on the bottom.
He explained everything upfront: The timeframe for getting the windows ordered, how long installation would take, whether we wanted the interior frame to be white or keep it as wood since the existing windows were wood. He mentioned that wood does cost more and the fact that you can get a close, but not a perfect match to the existing windows.
He was always prompt and kept us updated as to when the windows should be coming in, when the windows did come in, and a date/time to do the installation.
I am going to have him replacing one of the entry doors to the garage that has rotted out on the bottom and gets stuck.
Update: New door installed! I uploaded a couple pictures of the old door and the new door!
OLD DOOR: The threshold on the old door was rotted and rusted out. You can also see the doorframe had a decent sized gap between the doorknob striker and strike plate. The frame was no longer square either and the door was hard to open and close.
NEW DOOR: New frame, new door, new threshold, and the door swings inward instead. It seals well and it is smooth opening and closing!“

We expected some landscaping damage, but yet we were a little disappointed. Clean up was pretty good but we found a few more nails than expected. Overall, we're very satisfied customers. Thank you, Valdicass!“

5015 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago“Well, to begin with Diamond Home Service was very prompt. They were on time each time that they came. They were quite
courteous and very welcoming. They did an excellent job. They told us everything that they were doing basically step-by-step. They cleaned up the areas that they worked in. They were very considerate of our property. Diamond’s representative Brad explained the paperwork and the procedures clearly. And each person that my husband and I were in contact with was very personable, professional, and very friendly so my all overall experience with them was great. All our questions were addressed and answered. We had been needing a roof for a while and like I said, they explained everything before hand, everything during, and everything afterwards, so we were very pleased with what was the done.“

The 2 guys that did the installation and the owner, Conrad, were all very attentive to any concerns I had and addressed them promptly. They gave attention to detail and were neat. They also put back/installed the details from the outside lights, mailbox, hooks for a swing and hooks for a clothesline. Would recommend them to anyone for a siding project.“

1112 Cleveland Ave, La Grange Park“We love our new windows! They are gorgeous and work beautifully. We replaced all 13 original metal framed windows in our house. We notice a huge difference. We haven’t had any issues since installation was complete. John knew we had already been shopping around for quotes before we discovered Best Windows, so when he came to give us an initial quote he respected our time and was prompt with measuring and discussing options. Some window companies will show up to your house and stay for 2-3+ hours with tons of demonstrations and sale tactics but John was straight to the point, very honest with his professional opinion, and the price we paid was reasonable. John & his installers were professional and very courteous. They got the job done correctly and efficiently. Replacing all of our windows was a huge project and we are so glad we took our time finding the right company to work with. We highly recommend Best Windows for your future projects. We’ll always keep John’s number in our phones!“

920 Forest Ave, Oak Park“2.5 years ago our basement flooded the day before we moved in. As a first time homeowner it was an uphill battle. After we replaced the sewer line, installed drain tile, and got the rotting supports replaced we had finally resolved the flooding problems. However, there was no desire, and frankly no Reason, to celebrate.
The basement was now mangled. Dust from the unfinished concrete was visibly building up on the filters. This was merely the Battle of Helm's Deep part of our journey with much more to go. We began planning how we wanted to (re)finish the basement, called the number for Marion Street Services, and talked to Tony. He came at the first light on the first day with a few other members of his team to look at our situation. They took the time to fully inspect the basement, not just the few things we mentioned. They listened to what we had been through and were empathetic throughout. Within a few days they sent over an extremely in-depth itemized list of estimates for anything we could have wanted. Instead of playing whack-a-mole with problems as they popped up, we now had a checklist with details and rough costs. This was so immensely helpful and allowed us to put together a longer term plan, figure out which parts were cheaper than we thought, which were more expensive and worth DIY-ing.
We decided to proceed with finishing the basement floor, for which epoxy was recommended. They connected us with Jim from The Garage Store who came out WITH the Marion team and they used a laser level to see where the ground rose and sank, finding differences of over 3 inches in some areas. Instead of just pouring epoxy and calling it a day they came up with a plan to grind down the high points and trowel in material at the low points so we could have a more usable and enjoyable space at the end of the day. Kierra with Marion Street Services took care of the communication with Jim from there, and forwarded me their estimate which was more than fair. She worked with The Garage Store to schedule the work, facilitated the communication on color and timeline, made payments simple with an online link, and checked in on the progress throughout the work.
I couldn't be more happy with how the floor turned out. I put a few before and after photos next to each other to show just how wild the difference is. The floor is more level, the finish is spread evenly flush with all edges and even around the difficult plumbing, furnace, and framing.
If you have a little, or a lot of work you need to get done, do yourself a favor and get help. I spent a lot of time searching for plumbers, electricians, architects, structural engineers, the list goes on and on. Multiply that by at least two if you are looking to compare opinions and estimates. I wish I had found Marion Street Services much sooner. I have a few things I am finishing on my own, but am going to need a lot of help in the months to come. When I do, Marion Street Services will be the first number I dial, because it truly feels like you have Tony and the rest of the team in your corner.
I'll admit the LOTR reference was dramatic, but that last photo is my wife's and my first shoe-less steps in our basement in two and a half years of living here. Whatever situation you are in, you don't gotta face it alone. Marion Street Services are as honest as they come. They are there to help, not to shake you down for as much as they can. Do yourself a favor, or do your FUTURE self a favor, and just give them a call. You won't regret it.“

781 Dillon Dr, Wood Dale“Working with Energy360 Solutions was amazing. I requested a quote and Jim was able to come out the next day. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and no pressure. I even asked about installing an attic fan and he honestly told me my attic was too small to need it.
The day of the install the crew was here early and definitely started on time. Although my attic was a real challenge for space (my furnace and home humidifier is located there and there is a tiny entrance to the additional space above my bedroom) the crew got right to work and finished quickly.
Other than the obvious improvement of retention of heat, you would never known they were here! My husband loves the work they did around the furnace and sealing the hatch to the attic.
Don't wait to insulate your home, working with Jim at Energy360 Solutions is quick easy and totally worth it.“
