I have been going to Every Nails since they opened in Highland Park several years ago and I've never looked back. Jina and Justin are wonderful people and they do the best job. So thoughtful, courteous and great at what they do. There are a lot of nail salons but in my experience, they are head and shoulders above any other place I've tried.

This place is absolutely wonderful! It's location is tucked away down a quaint brick alley way that was stunning with snowing falling and is even prettier in the spring/summer! The spa is welcoming and clean. The staff is warm and friendly and provided such great service and conversation. Tracy did my dip powder with extension and did a fabulous job! She was meticulous with her work and can tell she shows pride in what she does. I am testing different nail salons for my wedding and will definitely be coming back from here on out! These wonderful colorists/stylists have moved just down the street from their previous location and can still be reached at 773 505 9493. Anette has done my color for years. Before I even moved to the area I would plan family trips around having her do my hair! She listens and is honest about what will work best. She put pink in my hair no problem when nobody else seemed to be able to. Then she helped me get back to my natural color with highlights no problem. These are the nicest kindest hairstylists I have ever been to. Highest recommendation.

Teshanna came to my home to help do my hair and makeup for a newborn photoshoot I had later that day. She was accommodating by working with my schedule by arriving very early in the morning. She came very well prepared, more than I expected and did a fabulous job as a result of her skills. Along with her supplies (suitcases of hair supplies and makeup) she brought her own makeup chair and ring light. She took a minimum time to set up everything and it was like she brought a whole studio to me. She’s personal, prompt and professional. I cannot recommend Chad and his salon enough. He will take the time to talk to you to make sure you are both on the same page because, let's face it, a gorgeous head of hair is a reflection on both of you! Even more than that, he really wants you to love your look. My hair looked and felt healthier than it had in years and I am happy to say I have found my new stylist and can quit searching.
When I say I do not let anyone cut or dye my hair other than Karlen, I mean it! I have been a client of Karlens for 5-6 years and he is the best! When I first saw Karlen, I was a blonde and my hair was completely damaged. Present time, my hair is nourished and healthy again…… because of HONESTY! The employees are genuinely good people. Back after many many yrs (see my last review) and it's still wonderful! Decided last minute to get my hair done for an event and they had openings. Wheelchair accessible except the hair washing bowl. I can transfer so it was fine but if you can't, may need to ask what to do with your hair before coming in. The chairs move but again I can transfer aI was in the chair. I did let them know when I called that I had long (almost to my waist), thick curly hair and they said they work w/my type all the time. Val did an amazing job! I've never had my hair look so wispy! Wish I had gotten a pic but the night got away from me. The only wheelchair issue is the doors threshold is quite steep. I had to back in otherwise someone may need to help lift the front of your chair to get in.

I have been a long-time customer and absolutely love going to Spa Dabin in Highland Park. The salon is warm, welcoming and spotless. I don't request a specific person because they are all excellent. The staff have been wearing masks long before COVID and put in plastic screen and curtains after the pandemic hit. Before my daughter's wedding she and I had a mani-pedi session for us and the bridesmaids. We were delighted with the service.

I have been going to Hands On Relief for about 10 years for a deep tissue massage about every month. I feel like Jello when my massage is done and it has kept my blood pressure steady as I get older. Each session starts with "what areas are bothering you" The best massage for the price.
I have been going to Therapeutic Kneads since I moved to Highland Park. I have found the providers to be exceptionally good and highly professional. The system for scheduling is simple and easy to do from my phone or computer, and the facility is clean and calm. The therapists I have worked with (I currently see Brandon) have always been excellent.

Ency did a light silver/blond balayage on my untreated dark long hair. She took her time with the process and really made sure not to damage my hair even with multiple color lifting. Within few hours she got my hair to my desired color! I loved the result. She is very friendly, positive, professional, and patient. I highly recommend her salon.

I started going here about 4 months ago after having my hair messed up by a different salon. My girlfriend recommended Tracey. She is Superb! We connected right off the bat. She listens and gives options. Answers your questions honestly. Wants you to be totally happy when you leave. If you aren't 100% happy she will fix it. I am a red head which is a challenging color to work with but Tracey was up for the challenge with a smile on her face. Very professional with a great sense of humor. I found "My Gal"!!! I also am very picky so if she can make me happy she can do anyone!!

Ana's approach prioritizes education and efficacy, meaning the work and patience that both practitioner and client invest yields high-quality and sustainable results. I could not recommend her business enough!
Super knowledgeable, very calming, wonderful listener when I shared with her my skin concerns. I almost fell asleep during my facial. I have left facials before with a puffy face that felt irritated and attacked, but this was the opposite. My face was super cleansed, hydrated, and clear . Looking forward to going next month!!
My first visit with Lora was via a Groupon, and I was sold on a second (and far more costly) appointment after that first visit. I did microblading, and a customized 1-hour facial with pore extractions (using a lancet) and was fairly pleased with the results, though I expected a bit more for what I spent and for what was promised. Lora had hyped up the procedure and results and I felt as though more could have been done. I wasslightly concerned of her use of very vague terms and questioned her expertise. However, the results are what matter and she is a lovely woman. They could really better identify the Highland Park location; I had trouble finding it since she operates in the back room of a nail salon. Also, she is not very punctual, so err on the side of caution and plan a longer visit.
Dora is amazing! She takes the time and is very patient with teaching the concepts of Pilates. It’s a plus that she is also a great massage therapist. I started going once a week and now I’m going twice a week. I’ve really feel much better. I highly recommend Dora.

We got a few different bids for installing an outlet in our garage for our Tesla. Our association recommended Lin since they did all of the units when they were first built. The bids ranged all the way from over $5k to $500! I think just because we live in HP and own a Tesla they think they can charge us more. Lin gave us the best quote, came out quickly, did a great job. Work was clean and efficient. I highly recommend them.

I needed a complete tear off of my 20 year old 2 car garage. It needed new plywood over the whole garage. These guys worked their butts off to give me the best looking roof in the neighborhood. So much better than the old roof and best price of all the estimates I got. Robert was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Use them, PERIOD.
My roof was a disaster, with multiple layers of old shingles, lots of gaps where animals had got in, and a pretty steep pitch on either side between my neighbors. I contacted six different roofing companies in the spring for quotes. Peace of Mind was the last visit I had, and I'm glad I made that decision.Fidel was the only contractor who pointed out areas of weathering and potential storm damage, and suggested I contact my insurance company before committing to a contractor. But he also willing to meet me when the insurance adjuster was scheduled to inspect, no matter what else was going on, to advocate on my behalf. And sure enough, on a Saturday morning in July no less, Fidel arrives even before the insurance adjuster, and stays on the guy's hip for two hours as they inspect every corner and every shingle on my house and garage.Insurance wasn't going to cover very much (surprise surprise) and Fidel's estimate came in about middle of the pack among the six quotes I had in hand. Yet, I appreciated Fidel's dedication and customer-first attitude, and so I wanted to return that loyalty. Problem was: I didn't have the cheddar on hand to pay for the contract. So I waited for several months as I tried to secure what I needed to pay.Fast forward to October, and I contact Fidel again to let him know I'm ready to proceed. Since it was late in the season, I was worried we'd have to postpone until next spring. But Fidel was able to get me in late November before the cold, snow, and ice began.I'm thankful, grateful, and very relieved that they were able to do the whole job: remove all the old shingle, remove rotted wood, install new plywood and sublayers, lay new shingle, and install new gutters... on both my house and garage. I appreciated Fidel's transparency and assurance that they'd get the job done before the weather turned. I also appreciated that the crew went out of their way to clean up debris that had fallen on my neighbor's property line, and even ran interference on my behalf for one neighbor who was not very thrilled about the extra mess.Reasons why I rated 4 stars instead of 5:- It took several days to complete. I've observed other roof repairs in my neighborhood, and they often complete in about 1.5 days. Our job took 5 or 6 visits over the course of two weeks to finish. Their progress *was* impeded by a cold snap and first snowfall, plus Veterans' Day and a Sunday. But, still took a little longer than I expected.- Originally I mentioned that only wanted to do the house, and not the garage. I was confused when I saw the crew starting to tear down the garage's old roof. Turns out that the garage was included in the contract I signed, but I missed it (totally my bad). And, in hindsight, I'm very glad to have the garage done, also (and our garage previously didn't have gutters at all, and it does now, which has already noticeably helped after a day of constant rain).- Communication was sometimes an issue. The crew arrived around 9:30 each morning, and stayed until after dark (about 6 pm, but it was November, when the sun set at 5). I sometimes wasn't sure if or when the crew was returning the next day, and cleaning up in the dark meant that not all debris was picked up in a timely fashion.Overall I'm thrilled that Fidel was able to squeeze us in before winter, and grateful that he remained available over the course of several months, and the quality of the results seems excellent. The project leader Alfred was reliable, and the owner Sean delivers on his work. We felt that each day progress was made - it is so unusual to find a company like this! Had Bob Shrago over to give us some advice on building a porch and a few other miscellaneous items. He was wonderful with communication and advice, came when he said he would, didn't charge anything. We did use one of his guys for some electrical work and he was excellent; quick, fixed the issue, not expensive. I am thrilled we found Bob. He a wonderful source for recommending reliable people, and I would definitely use him if I have a large project. Highly recommend.
I used Advanced Sprinkler in Spring 2022 to install a brand new irrigation system following a large landscaping project and couldn't be happier. I evaluated several options and went with Advanced as they use more durable PVC piping and hand trench installation vs. their competition, which typically uses Poly, which is more prone to leaks over time. Advanced's owner was personally involved in every detail and worked hand in hand with his experienced team to make sure the system was properly designed and installed. Following installation, the owner followed up multiple times to tweak the system, watering schedules, etc. as needed. Advanced also winterized the system at the end of the season. Had the need for immediate back PAIN relief and McNulty came through for me! After a long week with my 3 grandkids I suddenly found myself with debilitating lower back pain, to the point I could not walk the dog, sit or bend over. Got several proposals to remove a dead tree and Superior was the best. They took down the tree yesterday and did an unbelievable job. There is not a scrap of bark or a limb left behind. Came early and were very thorough. Would use them again.Service: Tree removal
