I’ve been here more times than I would like to this year and staff has always been wonderful and prompt. I waited a while in the room the last time I was there but I was alone with a book (not with my kids) so I didn’t mind. Once the doctor came I realized why i’d waited so long. She was so so kind, caring, thorough. She didn’t minimize the pain I was experiencing. I’ve tried other local emergency clinics and will return to this one every time.
I do visit Dr B in crystal lake location for second look of keratosis and I can say that all stuff from front to assistant Doctor Patel and him were professional king and did great job

I was delighted to try La Moda Barbershop. I wanted to try something new and found one in High Pointe Plaza. A barber named Angel from Venezuela cut my hair. He seemed very patient and took his time with me. I know I have a bunch of cowlicks. I've never brushed my hair my entire existence However, I could tell this is a craft for Angel and not only a job. I suggest if you want to try something new, give La Moda Barbershop a chance! PS, I don't think they have a credit card swiper setup so bring cash or zelle!

Lauren is the nicest and most patient person. I feel very comfortable at this salon. I was so embarrassed the first time I visited. I colored my hair at home for over 10 years. I finally got tired of battling my abundant grey hair every 3 weeks and tried to lighten it myself - I have naturally very thick, coarse, dark hair - not the type of hair one should attempt to lighten at home. Needless to say, I destroyed it. Lauren is helping me transition to my natural hair and still working through the repair process. I am very happy I ended up here. ?????

Stopped by Lincoln Avenue Barbershop in Elgin as a walk-in and had a great experience. They got me in without a long wait, which I really appreciated. James was my barber and he was very nice, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. He paid attention to detail and got me exactly the cut I wanted.

Here is an honest review of this barbershop and Mike as an owner. The shop itself is very unique. It has one chair and one barber. As soon as you walk in the door, you will immediately relax. The shop is a little bit like a museum. It tells you about a man and his hobbies.
The common thread of the shop and its owner is one word, simple. If you are looking to be flattered or patronized, this is not the shop for that. Mike will give you an honest haircut at a fair price and a warm conversation.
If you need more than that, have your mom cut your hair.

I had a great experience at The Braiding Place in Elgin! I walked in without an appointment and was still able to get serviced, which I really appreciated. Fanta did my cornrow braids and she was amazing, very professional, gentle, and super nice throughout the whole process. She took her time and made sure everything looked neat and clean. I already got a couple compliments just within hours of leaving the salon.

We discovered our old, worn-out spigot on the outside of our house started to leak, causing our water bill to go up. Another plumber told us the part was too old (1971?) to replace and he couldn’t fix it. So, thankfully, we found Excellent Plumbing. The gentleman I spoke with (Gino or Dino) was very kind. and sent Saul out asap. Saul had all the parts in his truck and had no problem replacing it. He also noticed there was no shutoff valve under the kitchen sink, so he installed one for us. He did a wonderful job and had it done in under an hour. Prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional. We had a great experience with All Suburban Emergency Plumbing, Ltd. George, Sam, Michael, and Michael, Jr. were most helpful and accommodating. We had been told by another plumber (after he spent 3-4 hours trying to clear our sewer) that our sewer issue would need to be cared for by excavating the sewer line. George and his team were able to rod out the line and remove the tree roots within minutes of beginning the project. They also happily and willingly helped us with a couple of other minor plumbing projects while at our home. They were efficient and professional in every way. We highly recommend them.
I contacted Rays to install an EVSE, aka EV car charger, in my garage. Everyone I worked with from Rays was great from scheduling through installation and follow up. Ray and Zack came out for the initial meeting and we agreed on the work to be completed. Zack and Al came back to do the installation. They were professional, got the work done quickly, cleaned up, answered all my questions and made sure that both the hardware and software for the charger were working properly. I truly feel that they understand all the requirements for the safe installation of a EV charger. They even performed a follow up visit due to an unforeseen hardware issue that had nothing to do with the installation work that Rays did.
They have an efficient administrative process that streamlines estimate, billing and payment so it can all be handled electronically, making things easier for me.
If you need to have a car charger installed you can’t do better than Rays.

Stop looking! These guys are amazing. The details and care they go through to care for your house goes well beyond other companies. Trust me, I know. I've rented carpet cleaning machines through a hardware store I worked for and lived next to a guy who owned his own carpet cleaning company. I know quality when I see it. This is a small company that cares, not a franchise surviving on up sales. The knowledge of carpet is not going to be found on some crew sent out to clean and get out. I learned alot about the various carpets in my home. They even told me an area rug we have wasn't worth having cleaned. Who does that? I'd say they they lost money but we have neighbors already interested in hiring Carpet Wiser after seeing and hearing about out great experience. Enough of my babbling, call them. You WON'T be disappointed.

I had a serious issue with puppy stains and was uncertain if they would come out. Patrick and his partner pretreated them with a special enzyme spray, and it started to draw the stains out right away. The carpet wasn't drenched and dried in 24 hours just like Patrick said it would. Very reasonably priced as well. I especially appreciated that Patrick followed up with me this year to see if I needed any services, as I have used Matrix before and will continue to whenever I need to. I highly recommend Matrix!

We are delighted with all three of the large projects All Around Home Improvements has completed on our 1894 Queen Anne: a porch restoration, a complete window replacement and a gut rehab of an old bathroom. Scott Savel is an able and thorough craftsman who deals calmly with the "surprises" an old house frequently holds and works meticulously to restore old details. Most of all, I'm impressed by the intelligence and enthusiasm he brings to his art. For example, he worked from a faint shadow on our front siding to reproduce the embellishments on the porch posts that existed when our house was built 119 years ago. He found an ingenious way to make a bathtub fit in a space that was 1/2 inch too small. He arrives on time. His estimates have been accurate. His advice has been invaluable. I recommend All Around Home Improvements without reservation!

Since moving back to the suburbs in 2020, my wife and I have used a few landscaping companies with mixed results (lack of professionalism, poor or slow communication, failure to do all of the work requested/paid for, overcharging for fairly basic jobs). ETB has been the opposite of that so far. Within 48 hours, ETB responded to my message, visited my property, and provided an estimate that was very reasonable. The company provided very clear instructions for payment and scheduling, and managed to send workers the morning after I paid the 50% deposit. What's more, a manager/service rep came to the property both days the workers were here to make sure they completed everything on the work order and to confirm that everything had been done correctly. All in all, I'm pleased with the work they did and the professional manner in which they did it.
Over the year or so we've been working with Victor, I'm convinced he can do just about anything. It's hard to know what you're going to get with a landscaping company, so I was lucky to find Anson. Now, Victor is my go-to for everything. Planting trees. Dethatching my lawn. Whatever it is, his crew is consistently awesome. Last year, they poured a concrete pad for my new shed. Victor saw how the ground slopes in the back and took the time to extend the gravel on the back side and embed it under the soil to more firmly anchor it against erosion. And he was careful when removing the grass, since using our existing grass would best mask the seam. One year later and it's like it was always there! No seam at all. His thoughtfulness and attention to details like this are why I always call Anson!!!
We've worked with Gasca's for close to 20 years, starting when we were in a single-family home. We first learned of Gasca's when we noticed the French Drain they put in at another home in the neighborhood.They provided several wonderful landscaping enhancements to the SFH which we loved, from raised planting area next to our driveway; to front stoop repair with a brick walkway (adding a nice curve to the path); to a 6 ft cedar fence in the back of our yard; to buried rain gutter discharge; moving a utility shed and providing landscape accents for it (including more brick); to a stone path in a drainage swale next to the house that couldn't support grass and was often a soggy mess.Until we moved they also provided the lawn care and snow removal.We even had some plumbing and electrical done, though that wasn't a main activity for them at the time.After moving to our condo we didn't have much need for their services and lost contact for several years. Fast forward to 2 years ago, after I became involved with our HOA and began developing some thoughts about some work inside our unit. When I encountered Javier at Home Depot a couple of years ago, we caught up and I discovered that Gasca's had expanded their areas of work. I was delighted to start having Javier and his crew to help with things like siding; shiplap, drywall, and painting; more electrical; and soon a re-roof for the whole building (9,745 sq ft).There's little that they can't do.Oh, and we've always felt that their prices were fair & comparable to others.I can't recommend them enough.

I met with oral surgeon Dr. John Hur on 12/18/2025 after having all four of my wisdom teeth removed on 12/12/2025 at a different dental office by a different oral surgeon not affiliated with High Point Dentistry. I was having pain, unanswered questions, and concerns and when I tell you Dr. Hur answered all of my questions, actually examined my mouth, ordered x-rays, and put me on a different regimen of meds that will help me to heal…I feel seen and heard! I found Dr. Jung online and was able to get in very soon. I had hip pain/back and could barely walk. He carefully got me moving again, not doing too much before I was ready for it. I fully recovered, it's been 10 months. I recently went back for neck and shoulder problems. I started feeling better in a few sessions. I will continue with treatments until he releases me in a few more weeks. He uses techniques I have not experienced with other chiropractors resulting in a very customized treatment. I have referred a number of people who have all been very happy with their outcomes. Highly recommend.

With my highly strenuous job, I figured I'd either find a chiropractor or start communicating exclusively through grunts. The team at this clinic got me in quickly, made the whole process painless, and somehow managed to turn me back into a functioning human. I've been seeing Dr Landin since my insurance denied my back surgery claim. He was able to identify an issue 2 neuro surgeons, 2 chiropractors and an acupuncturist couldn't see. While I do still have some issues, Dr Landin has pointed me in the right direction to get better. He takes time to hear me out and treats me as an individual.

Renee is incredible. My nerve not working after a knee injury and surgery, and as a result my quad was not firing and was atrophying. Even after 6 months of PT 3x per week with a physical therapist I still was not getting results with my quad. I saw Renee m, who pinpointed the issue and provided electroaccupuncture over several sessions to get my nerve and quad firing up again. And guess what?! My quad now works great. I'm incredibly thankful for her expertise.
I went to see the staff at Acucare on Dec 28 when my back went out on me. The pain was excruciating and Dr Han did some acupuncture on my back and by the time I left the pain was at a 9, I've only had 3 visits so far and Dr Han has help me tremendously. I'm so very glad to have found these Dr's and will continue to visit them.
I do visit Dr B in crystal lake location for second look of keratosis and I can say that all stuff from front to assistant Doctor Patel and him were professional king and did great job

My horse had bone chips removed here two years ago with stellar care, and he was back over a holiday weekend recently due to a colic episode that did not resolve with treatment provided by my home veterinarian. KREH staff were thorough, extremely caring, and kept me informed throughout the entire experience. My horse is home and recovering well and I am forever grateful to Kendall Road and their fabulous staff. I will never go anywhere else for equine emergencies or surgical needs! Affordable, kind, thorough, experienced, professional. The best of the best!

I can only say good things about Animal Eye Consultants. I have been a repeat client for several years with 2 of my dogs. Dr. Lindley was able to save my dogs eye after and continued to see her for several years. Then again for my other dog to check and monitor his eyes for cataracts. Very Happy with the all of the support staff and doctors bedside manor. Highly recommend this facility and & refer people here all the time.
