“My son and I just walked out of Sports Clips after getting a haircut. We have always gone to the Sports Clips. ( I have 3 boys). The new male stylist they hired did a complete hack job on my son‘s hair. I am not a professional and I could’ve done a better job. It’s like a four year old took scissors to his hair. Do not let the male stylist cut your hair or your child’s hair.
With that said, another stylist fixed my son’s hair and they gave me a coupon for a free haircut. I was VERY IMPRESSED by how they fixed the mistake that was made on my son’s hair! Thank you. “Lauren is the nicest and most patient person. I feel very comfortable at this salon. I was so embarrassed the first time I visited. I colored my hair at home for over 10 years. I finally got tired of battling my abundant grey hair every 3 weeks and tried to lighten it myself - I have naturally very thick, coarse, dark hair - not the type of hair one should attempt to lighten at home. “I had a great experience at The Braiding Place in Elgin! I walked in without an appointment and was still able to get serviced, which I really appreciated. Fanta did my cornrow braids and she was amazing, very professional, gentle, and super nice throughout the whole process. She took her time and made sure everything looked neat and clean. I already got a couple compliments just within hours of leaving the salon.
