“I am so grateful that I listened to my gut feeling and proceeded to call J&D Cooling & Heating for a 2nd opinion. Around 4pm the day before, Greens Heating tech, Thor, came to look at my system. I told him the system is only 2 years old and all of a sudden it’s not behaving normal. It’s stopped blowing forced air and it’s struggling to meet the set temperature. I paid for this tech’s “diagnostics” which he told me nothings wrong with it. I couldn’t sleep that night because I strongly felt something is definitely wrong, besides it getting warmer. Unsure if I’m overreacting but I went with my gut feeling, called J&D.

Desten from J&D came despite their busy schedule, heard what I had to say and found the problem in less than 10 minutes!! Both the unit and the HVAC systems were iced over so thick that he couldn’t really do anything except to let it defrost first. I’m just sooooo thankful that I did not listen to the tech that Greens Heating sent to do thr diagnostics! That tech didn’t even bother to check the filter, had he done it he would have suggested it! He looked outside but did not turn off the unit to get a closer look! Desten turned it off and we both saw thick ice had formed inside all the way tracing the line outside!

I’m so disappointed with Greens Heating. The only reason I called them first was because Toll Brothers had Greens Heating label all over the HVAC system and I was told to call them whenever there’s a problem.

I had asked Desten how did he figure out so fast there’s ice buildup around the system and unit? He told me by listening to what the symptoms were. He lifted the tape that wrapped around the HVAC line and sure enough. This is the type of service I like to see especially when I’m paying for their diagnostic visit. And guess what? J&D is $10 cheaper than the other guy! Greens Heating is a rip off!

Brett and the entire team take the time to listen to what you need and they go out of their way to ensure that the objective is accomplished. I am so grateful that my builder decided on Peppy.

We just finished (about 18 months now) a custom modern farmhouse, constructed using LEED principles. We have 4,400 sq ft of open, expansive spaces. Brett and the team talked us into using the more efficient ductless system throughout the house and we couldn't be more happy with the final product. We have two Mitsubishi heat pumps and 9 total cassette heads, and one mini-ducted-air-handler, in our home. Our average monthly energy cost for our home (entire electric bill with a/c heat included) over the first year was about $200/month. That is amazingly efficient for 4,400 sq ft!!!

After getting the system installed and living with it for a year, Brett and the team, really went out of their way to help us find some new, cost-effective, technology allowing us to automate the system and integrate the controls into an online app that we can control with our phone anywhere. I feel like they are blazing some new trails with this aspect of ductless systems and they are doing a really great job making it work as easy as other traditional systems. The thing that really-really impressed me, is that the objective for Brett and the Peppy team was total customer satisfaction. They were respectful and equitable about the entire process and were not done until I was satisfied with this system, I was amazed at this level of customer service!

I would recommend Peppy hands down! 10 out of 10!!! They will be the only shop our family will call for any of our H-VAC needs!

“Earlier this year, I called Premier to look into a continuing issue with my ductless system. This was the third time I had called them and we agreed it was time for a new unit. They sold me a Daikin unit and installed it quickly (summer temps were starting to rise) and professionally. My original unit had been installed by the previous owner and they did not do a very good job. Premier, on the other hand, did everything correctly and guaranteed their work. The best part? My electric bill has been less than half of what it was on the old system, and now that things are cooling off, my bills are actually a quarter (yep, 25%) of what they were last year. It’s always tough when you have to spend a lot of money like this, but if you gotta do it, let the pros like Premier handle it. You’ll be glad you did, I know I am.“
