“First let me say that I have been in construction my whole life. I have always worked with integrity above anything else. AC guys have a bad rap, but due to some weasels out there, it is well deserved.
With that said, I found Downtown Air and Heat. If I still owned my plumbing company, I would have them as my exclusive AC subcontractor. The owner, Shawn, is more than an expert. His professionalism and care to ensure that we understood every aspect of the process was beyond all expectations. He did a cost analysis to properly evaluate if changing our system was worth it, and to what level of upgrade.
He made us feel like he was buying the system for his own home, and was dealing with his own family.
0 pressure. 0 sales BS. It was truly refreshing. Especially in Florida.
I would recommend them above anyone else that we have had over the past 20 years. I wish he was around then so I could have save thousands over the years.
The best part... he is more than competitive. I could not beat the price. The closest estimate I got (I got 3) was $1000 more and the system was far less superior. I am so happy with these guys that if you call them and ask for my number for a verbal recommendation, I told them to give out my cell.

“Quick and Prompt service. Our AC went out in our new house on a Friday night. I contacted Polar Express around 8AM on Saturday and they were able to send someone out by 9:30 and have it fixed by 10:30. Everything was throughly explained before any work was complete. The technician, Dereck, was great and has approval from my picky cat. Highly recommend.“
