“I'm so glad I found Yoga from the Heart. This tranquil studio is located in Avon Village and has quickly become my go-to stress-relieving place. I signed up for their new student special, three weeks of unlimited classes, which gave me the option to try out any of their classes. It was a great deal and a great way to see if the studio would be a good fit for me. It was, so I signed up for a 6-week Intro to Yoga series with Jenna, and I'm so glad I did. Jenna is a great teacher with a calming and supportive presence.Their website is well designed and gives detailed descriptions of all the classes offered (there are quite a few!), and you can easily book classes through their website. As for COVID precautions, the studio has two HEPA filters running at all times and requires proof of vaccination. These extra levels of safety allow you to practice yoga in peace.“

“This is a great facility for a massage. Quiet, relaxing environment. Heated massage tables. Zack, my massage therapist, is excellent. He always asks if there are any specific areas that need attention. Very responsive and listens to your needs. I highly recommend him and Vital Life Center.“

“We have been coming to Extreme Karate for a few years now, and my son has progressed to blue belt. The senseis here are a father-daughter team, both trained by karate masters in Okinawa, Japan. They provide excellent and caring instruction to all levels of student, in a fun and constructive atmosphere. They have gone above and beyond to adapt to the global COVID-19 pandemic, creating safe, small, socially-distanced classes to ensure their students continue to progress, stay active, and have fun. Highly recommend this dojo for any level - they are worthy of your support and you'll get a lot more in return.“

I found it both challenging and fun, in a wonderfully supportive and welcoming studio environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, you'll feel right at home. Tyra‘s teaching style is remarkable, offering various poses and their adaptations, ensuring everyone can participate to some extent. “I had been to Jen's Bikram studio in Farmington and was delighted to see the new space. Slightly smaller studio but same friendly, knowledgeable, wise owner. It's slightly less regimented than other Bikram studios I've been too, but in a positive way (meditative music occasionally playing and some non-traditional cues). I love the cool lavender towels at the end of class. Great place!“

“Fit Bar 111 is the place to go if you need to stay motivated while having fun working out. Guided boot camp style workouts are well thought out and effective. Owner is knowledgeable and the place is very non-threatening! So many great equipment options to keep it interesting. Nice and clean, too- and so cute inside.“

“Taking Pilates classes with Mary at Soma Movement has changed my life and improved my strength and flexibility. Mary is simply amazing! She takes the time to explain details about how each exercise should be done with frequent small tweaks to your form that suddenly make the exercises even more beneficial. She has a natural ability to teach and explains things in a simple and methodical way. “I have been working with Cyndi Roberts for well over a year and she is fantastic. The room is serene and comfortable. She has worked with me through a variety of injuries/surgeries and some emotional issues always using yoga to help me ground myself. She tailors every session to meet whatever my needs are at the time and I always leave feel better than when I got there. I could not recommend her more!“
