The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and patient. I had a positive experience when I went in for my eye exam. I appreciated them getting me a glass of cold water and giving me free samples of vitamins to help with my onset of macular degeneration of the eye.

But for now, I want to say that the receptionist I spoke with at the Farmington location was extremely kind and efficient, and clearly knows her stuff — I’m so sorry I didn’t catch your name, as I was in a bit of a panic (I called the number of my retired ophthalmologist in hopes someone had set up shop there — they had! I’m dealing with an acute eye issue and had been using LensCrafters for routine eye exams since Dr. Scarpati, my former doctor, retired. Now I understand the limitations not having a primary optometrist/ophthalmologist. The prospect of losing one’s vision is terrifying)

One of the few GP’s not affiliated with a large medical group. Very personal level of care with a top shelf staff that seems to have very little turnover. I’ve been with the group for over 10 years and retain them as my primary even after moving to NH several years ago.
Dr mufti’s office is very easy to get a hold of. She I also very thorough when it comes to questions. She has helped me out so much and I would definitely recommend her as a pcp if you are looking for one!

His cuts were fine, but didn't do apts, so I often had to wait there for 45 min before it was my turn. Fifth Ave Nails is the only place I will get a pedicure. I drive from New Haven because I don’t trust any other place. The ingredients they use are clean, the salon is very clean and the service is very friendly. I’ve never had anything less than a 5 star experience here. I’ve also had a couple of gel manicures and they were excellent. I love that I can easily schedule my appointment online.

CUTS FOR PEANUTS is the place to GO! Sally is AMAZING!!! My son has Autism. He has extreme fear and anxiety over haircuts. He hadn’t had a haircut in over a year…until today!The shop was small, with space to explore, lots of natural lighting from the huge window and very calming. Sally was extremely patient. She spoke to him very gently explaining what she’d be doing and why. He was receptive to this approach along with the many breaks he would need to take. She is a true professional. Excellent first experience at Avon Hair Company! I have been to many salons and stylists over the past 5 years and couldn't really find one I wanted to stick with. I live in West Hartford and it has been difficult to find someone that has great experience with long hair. Each stylist I've seen has been extremely expensive for the quality of work. I'm glad I decided to try driving into Avon because Amy was absolutely fantastic, and the price was very reasonable.My hair is long, and reaches below my shoulder blades. I like this length but I find most stylists try to cut it too short for my taste. Amy listened to my concerns and delivered a very full-bodied, amazing cut. My hair looks thick and rich, and I can honestly say it's the best cut I've had in over a decade. It's light and soft, but still the length I like it. She did an amazing job with very light layering so that my hair isn't too heavy for summer.I will also say that upon entering the salon, everyone was extremely friendly. It is a very welcoming atmosphere and not stuffy like other salons I've been to. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and both the front receptionist and the clientele were so nice.Seriously, if you're looking for a new stylist, give them a try. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!

Dr Glassman is fantastic. Because of his surgical background he is very good with a needle. Great Botox. He's an artist. Also he is fantastic at staying up on the latest and greatest of skin care procedures and integrates them into his practice like micro needling and nova threads. He really takes his time and cares about his patients. My skin has never looked better. He has a growth mindset and is highly educated on the science behind beauty skin care.

Christina is the best! I had my first facial ever at her spa and It was equal parts relaxing and refreshing. She walks you through everything and makes you feel comfortable and safe! Woke up to a leaking hot water tank and contacted Pipe Doctor after seeing good reviews online. Reviews were spot on as Julian was fantastic. Responded to our call quickly and moved some non-urgent appointments around to fit us in. 5 hours after stepping in a puddle of water in our basement we now have a brand new tank installed for a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend him highly enough.
Avon Plumbing and the plumber did a terrific job in helping us quickly select and replace our very old toilet that had suddenly failed this morning. Within an hour of my calling, the plumber arrived, saw the extent of damage and helped us pick out a new toilet. Avon Plumbing sent a new toilet and it was installed quickly.

I love Blue Back Dental. Everyone provides excellent care, and are all so friendly. The only recommendation I would have is to have either the front office tell me which hygienist I am seeing that day when I arrive, or that the hygienist re-introduce herself. I'm terrible with names!
I recently switched dentists after going to my childhood dentist for nearly 19 years. I was so happy with the care I was given at avon village family dentistry. Dr. Sagalyn was so helpful and knowledgeable and gave me new tips on how to care for my sensitive teeth and gums. I feel better already!

Through out my years I have needed chiropractic care. Been to others but Dr Frankel is the very best. He is wonderful at diagnosing and does not string you along. Gets to the root of the problem and takes care of it in a reasonable amount of time. I can't really say enough about his knowledge and skill.
I've been to a number of vets over the years for cats and dogs, but Dr. Karimian is by far the best. She genuinely cares about what she does and explained everything to me in a way I could easily understand.
You might think that a veterinary clinic located in chic Avon would take every opportunity to milk its clients. Not the case here. Quality veterinary service at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

I've been brining my pets to PAW since I moved into the area. I think they do a wonderful job and I'm always confident that my pet is getting the best care. I've never been handed a huge bill with them unnecessarily running tests like some others have mentioned here. They're always upfront about any tests they need to run. One of my dogs had a dental procedure done, and after having other pets having similar procedures done at other practices, I can honestly say whatever they did seemed to be more thorough and complete.
Dr. Colletti provides excellent care for my dog, and always takes the time to discuss the issues and options with me in detail. He provides a great amount of information, and truly cares for my dog Ben. Highly recommend Dr. Colletti for taking care of your animals!
I'm so glad I found Yoga from the Heart. This tranquil studio is located in Avon Village and has quickly become my go-to stress-relieving place. I signed up for their new student special, three weeks of unlimited classes, which gave me the option to try out any of their classes. It was a great deal and a great way to see if the studio would be a good fit for me. It was, so I signed up for a 6-week Intro to Yoga series with Jenna, and I'm so glad I did. Jenna is a great teacher with a calming and supportive presence.Their website is well designed and gives detailed descriptions of all the classes offered (there are quite a few!), and you can easily book classes through their website. As for COVID precautions, the studio has two HEPA filters running at all times and requires proof of vaccination. These extra levels of safety allow you to practice yoga in peace.
I had been to Jen's Bikram studio in Farmington and was delighted to see the new space. Slightly smaller studio but same friendly, knowledgeable, wise owner. It's slightly less regimented than other Bikram studios I've been too, but in a positive way (meditative music occasionally playing and some non-traditional cues). I love the cool lavender towels at the end of class. Great place!

I love this studio! I am new to Pilates and have found everyone to be warm, inviting and very knowledgeable. The small class sizes and personal attention ensure that you are doing each exercise correctly and safely. In just three months I have noticed a big difference in how my body looks and feels.
I recently joined Club Pilates Avon. I am obsessed! The classes are challenging and everyone is so friendly! I feel stronger already - only 10 classes in! It IS worth the investment!
