Tara did a great job. I showed up at 8:05am on a Saturday. I asked for a simple gentleman's cut and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Only 30$ before tip. I will go back in 6 months or the next special occasion that comes up.
I love Nick's! When I first moved to town, I went to the guy a few doors down (random google choice). His cuts were fine, but didn't do apts, so I often had to wait there for 45 min before it was my turn. I don't know about y'all, but I've got other ways I'd like to kill time.I switched to Nick's, and haven't looked back. My wife has been asking me for 25 years to go have a manicure with her. Tonight she took me out for a "surprise" night out. I was thinking dinner and movie. We ended up at Noelle Nail Spa. Had my first Pedicure (Reflexology) and have to say, I'd gladly go back with her again. 40 mins of massaging, hot towels, hot rocks, etc... Owners Grace and her husband were extremely friendly and accommodating. Did everything possible to make it a relaxing first visit. Highly recommend them to everyone!

I have been coming to Defining Styles to see Kylie for cuts, colors, and root touchups for as long as I can remember. I live in Enfield and even though there are plenty of salons much closer to my home, I will always drive to Avon to see Kylie because I love what she does for my hair! The other staff at DS are super nice, too. Everyone seems to genuinely care about helping the client get what they want. If you haven't given this place a try, what are you waiting for?

This was my first time getting my hair down at whip salon, and it was incredible. From the second I walked in to the moment I was escorted in the rain to my car was fully an experience. I was taken care of for a beverage, comfort and full relaxation getting my hair washed; as I also had so many choices on what color to do my hair. Dani had such talent and energy. Dani made experience one of the best, from enjoying my time there to leaving with a smile I can’t stop, I have so many compliments on my hair, I truly can’t wait to make my next appointment with Dani at whip salon! I have been going to Avon Hair Company as long as it’s been open, and to its owners for a few years before that. Even through college I’d drive 2 hours one way because no one else would be touching my blonde! AHC has my full trust in color and cut. They always listen to what you want. The salon is friendly and very clean. I know I can sit back and relax while my hair needs are taken care of. My mother, aunt and now son go there as well! Highly recommend.

I first met Julian in 2018 when he replaced the hot water heater in my home and he did such a fabulous job that I have reached out for many scheduled - and unscheduled - projects. I recently completed a kitchen and flooring renovation where Julian was originally arranged to only install my new appliances including a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range (including updating the gas line that I had capped nearly 20 years ago), disposal and kitchen faucet. Of course, plans don't always go smoothly and unanticipated leaks by other contractors during the reno resulted in two different emergency visits after very panicked calls from me. Julian's quality of work including replacing many older lines, patience in guiding me to triage until he could get to my house, and calm demeanor in explaining the unanticipated challenges that popped up (or he discovered along the way) was amazing. Julian works quickly and efficiently, and he is extremely honest and fair. Thank you, Julian, for your responsiveness and understanding – and for still picking up the phone when I reach out!

I have a ton of issues with my teeth. I went to some other office and it was awful. Correction, staff was fabulous and dentist was a nightmare. My expectations were now low. Enter Newpoint Family Dental. First, it’s above a McDonalds. Wasn’t too thrilled about that because that smell gets everywhere. I don’t know what sorcery they do in that office but you would never know french fries being fried one floor below! Receptionist, Graciela, is an absolute gem of a gal with the most loveliest accents I have heard. I cannot remember the hygienist’s name, but I will never forget his face! Truly the most handsomest hygienist I’ve ever met. I don’t mean it in in a creepy way, more like “wow, I can’t believe this hollywood actor is taking pictures of my rotten teeth!” appreciation for someone so gorgeous and gorgeous on the inside. Enter the dentist. First, she looked young enough to be my daughter and had the most beautiful eyes and the most beautiful way of speaking. I am 50 years old and she taught me something I didn’t know! Not saying what, because I have dignity. I am so looking forward to starting the journey of getting my smile back and better yet, found a team that I fully trust. Bravo, to the office manager because the whole staff is on point. Highly recommend!

Through out my years I have needed chiropractic care. Been to others but Dr Frankel is the very best. He is wonderful at diagnosing and does not string you along. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the care our senior dog Grover received at Animal General, especially from Dr. Haley Guhn-Knight.
Dr. Haley was compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly listened to all of our concerns. She always took the time to explain everything in a way we could understand and made sure we felt informed every step of the way. I have honestly never met a veterinarian more invested in their patient. Even during her personal time, she would respond to emails and send us studies and information regarding the infectious disease that unfortunately took Grover’s life.
She also went above and beyond to make Grover comfortable during his exams — getting down on the floor with him, laying out yoga mats and blankets, and treating him with so much kindness and dignity.
Although we ultimately had to say goodbye to Grover, we are so grateful for everything Dr. Haley did for him and for our family during such a difficult time.

Dr. Morganti is extremely knowledgeable, personable, gentle and patient. He very kindly agreed to see the pet I was caring for that needed medical attention when no other vet would do so. I am so impressed with him and his entire staff!!!! Highly recommend as a primary vet as well as for urgent care!!!!

Highly recommend this class/studio! Different than a typical Pilates reformer class, in the best way! Kris was extremely helpful, making sure your movements were correct! The small class size made it feel like a true community, and the space was so calming!
Excellent exercise. Classes are always different so it’s not boring. Teachers are very knowledgeable are able to adjust to your person ability. I joined at age 63 after never liking any kind of exercise and I still like going after 1 1/2 years and 249 classes. I am much stronger and flexible. Highly recommend.
I have been coming to The Inner Space for 6 years, after a string of sports & overuse injuries knocked me out of most activity. This classical Pilates studio features highly personalized, small group classes (both in person and by video) which are all taught by incredibly knowledgeable and seasoned instructors who feel more like family. The studio has continued to challenge me while keeping me injury free & out of PT/chiropractor!

It was my first getting a message here. Carrie was very courteous and worked on specific area of my shoulders to relief tension and tightness. I had the Spa Massage which includes hot stones and hot towels. The facility is clean and spacious.
I received a gift card to Elements from a friend—90 minutes! I had never visited before and was a little nervous that a franchise spa on a very busy road wouldn’t be my kind of place. I booked an early Monday evening massage with Cece, whom my friend recommended.
I was wrong! Elements was easy to find and access. The spa is calm and quiet. Cece is a super-talented massage therapist. I came in so tense and tight that I was in pain, and I left feeling relaxed and rested… with no pain!
I booked another massage with Cece before I even left. I’m really looking forward to my next visit and have already told so many people!
