“Excellent first experience at Avon Hair Company! I have been to many salons and stylists over the past 5 years and couldn't really find one I wanted to stick with. I live in West Hartford and it has been difficult to find someone that has great experience with long hair. Each stylist I've seen has been extremely expensive for the quality of work. I'm glad I decided to try driving into Avon because Amy was absolutely fantastic, and the price was very reasonable.My hair is long, and reaches below my shoulder blades. I like this length but I find most stylists try to cut it too short for my taste. Amy listened to my concerns and delivered a very full-bodied, amazing cut. My hair looks thick and rich, and I can honestly say it's the best cut I've had in over a decade. It's light and soft, but still the length I like it. She did an amazing job with very light layering so that my hair isn't too heavy for summer.I will also say that upon entering the salon, everyone was extremely friendly. It is a very welcoming atmosphere and not stuffy like other salons I've been to. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and both the front receptionist and the clientele were so nice.Seriously, if you're looking for a new stylist, give them a try. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!“

“CUTS FOR PEANUTS is the place to GO! Sally is AMAZING!!! My son has Autism. He has extreme fear and anxiety over haircuts. He hadn’t had a haircut in over a year…until today!The shop was small, with space to explore, lots of natural lighting from the huge window and very calming. Sally was extremely patient.
