Excellent first experience at Avon Hair Company! I have been to many salons and stylists over the past 5 years and couldn't really find one I wanted to stick with. I live in West Hartford and it has been difficult to find someone that has great experience with long hair. Each stylist I've seen has been extremely expensive for the quality of work. I'm glad I decided to try driving into Avon because Amy was absolutely fantastic, and the price was very reasonable.My hair is long, and reaches below my shoulder blades. Recently moved to the area and found a great hairdresser named Mary here! She gave me a great cut, and I am particular about my bangs and she gave them a great shape comparable to Newbury St salons in Boston! The space felt a bit tight, but otherwise a great experience!

My usual hairdresser is out on medical leave so I needed somewhere to get my highlights refreshed and hair cut. My hairdresser is independant, so I was unable to just go to someone different at her location. I was nervous trying to find someone "new". I am in my mid 40's, so there is some developing white hair...concerns with not aging myself with my hair style or color tone.
