I sat with Carmela for a Deva cut. Not only did I come out of there with a much needed and beautiful cut but I also gained a new friend. We chatted like old friends from the moment I walked in until the time I left. she made sure she understood stood what I was looking for in a cut and her intuition did the rest. I highly recommend Carmela, her personality and spirit and welcoming atmosphere is instantly noticeable and calming.

I was a little bit weary because there weren't any reviews on the devcurl website or on yelp but everyone seemed to love Carmela so I figured I'd give it a go, especially because she was charging less than any other salon in the area. When I got there, I was a little confused because it's Sola Salons and then she has a salon she shares with one other person. It's so welcoming and warm. I let them know I was there and she came right over to introduce herself and apologize because she was running behind. Where do I start. I was unhappy with my hair for years, I am very picky and just couldn't find the right stylist. I kept seeing people out with hair that I envied. I finally started asking them where they got their hair done. Ironically everyone with these exceptional styles and colors I inquired about went to Carmela. It was a no brainer to make my appointment. Then all of a sudden I was the girl people were asking where I got my hair done!!
