“We just had our roof replaced by Jules Poirier. If there were six stars to award, I'd have done that! This sure wasn't our first rodeo in terms of roof replacement and I'm sure not easy to please. I found Jules Poirier to be a person of the utmost integrity and honesty. He takes great pride in his work and is devoted to getting everything precisely correct and according to code. He's a straight arrow-- no BS, ever (and I have an extremely sensitive BS detector). His approach elictied my complete and implicit trust. The entire experience was smooith as silk, thanks in no small part to his astonishngly efficient office support. Everything was on-time and proceeded as promised. No hitches, no excuses, no surprises. The result was a beautiful job, expertly carried out. The clean-up was extraordinary. Save for the beautiful roof, one wouldn't know that anything happened here. “In our day and age it is rare to find a business that takes customer service to heart. J.T. Burke and sons is focused on their customers. They are a family business and it shows from the moment that they sit down with you to go over your quote to the process of completing the project, they are there for you. They keep their promises and ensure that their clients are happy. I say client but you feel more like family. It is an easy going relationship when you work with Shawn and John and the rest of the company.
They completed the roof on our cape in one day with a large crew. The people that work for them are some of the best around, they are dedicated and hard working. The crew worked so well together and they supported each other to get the job done.
Some of the things that set them apart are the use of a self sealing ice and water shield that they put on the whole roof, not just the edges. and a larger drip edge over the minimum one that most companies use. The self sealing ice and water shield is important because when you have so many nails going through it you want those holes to seal around the nails.
I could go on and on about the quality of the work that his company does. John came first thing in the morning of the job to do a walk around with us and check that they had every item correct. Then he did another one when the man in charge came, to fill him in on everything. The work went smoothly and efficiently. The day after John came back to check on the job and make sure that we were happy.
It is unusual to have such a large project completed and not have anything bad to say about it. I am blown away by the whole process. I would recommend J.T. Burke to anyone looking for a solid company that treats you right, does quality work, and truly cares.”
