“Seriously, what are you waiting for? If you are looking for a great trainer, look no further. Make. The. Call. We adopted our dog (Truffle) about a year ago and he was calm for about two weeks. After that, he has been difficult. Sweet at times but at other times....really, really terrible. We've had other dogs but Ttuffle was like no other. So, enter Laura. Our dog had problems with chewing, jumping, barking, mouthing, attention seeking, pulling, reactivity, etc. You name it, we had it. But then, sometime he would just curl up next to me and somehow the world was right. Well, Laura gave me the tools to handle the behavior issues. He's not perfect yet but he's a whole lot better than the pre-Laura Era. From the moment Laura walked into our home, Truffle was barking and jumping on her. We had finished a 6 week obedience course at Petsmart and we still weren't able to control the jumping. Within 5 minutes, probably less, Laura had Truffle quiet and sitting at her feet. That was just the beginning.They say pet trainer are really training the owners and I truly believe that. I realized the lack of respect that Truffle had for me. He loved me but knew he could get away with a lot more with me. A master manipulator! Much of what is published online did not work with what we were dealing with. With Laura's guidance and support much of what we were dealing with has been remedied. A million thanks yous, Laura! You are a life saver (ours and Truffle's). “Jan allowed us to enjoy our vacation as we knew our precious beasts were being taken care of by the ABSOLUTE BEST PERSON! She loved and cared for our 2 dogs as if they were her own. Jan sent us 2-3x's daily photos and updates on Harry and Maggie's stay during our 2+ week vacation. The day stay and overnight pricing is quite reasonable especially given the attention the dogs receive. Jan also limits the quantity of dogs she watches to ensure quality of care. This is the first time our dogs have had overnight boarding and NOT come home angry/pouty about being left with someone else. We highly recommend Jan!!“

“Ever since my dog Tim died, Ros has been withdrawn, sad, and reclusive. She spent all her time either under my desk or in my bedroom. She would go as much as 24 hours without going outside even to potty. It was heartbreaking. Dee Green helped her so much with her online counseling! With just the gentlest of interventions that allowed Ros to make her own choices about coming to me, going outside, where she wanted to sleep, etc., and some use of treats, she almost immediately began responding in a positive way. She started leaving the bedroom when the other dogs left the bedroom in the morning, she would sometimes go out on her own, she would come with me to go out as long as we were by ourselves, and gradually she’s gotten almost back to normal. I’m so grateful to Dee for her help ? ? ?“

“We were customers of the palisades location until moving to central LA a couple years ago and had generally good experiences. Since then, we have come back to the Malibu location three times with an emergency/ in need of services our new vet does not offer (x rays and ultrasounds). This visit, we brought our dog in to investigate frequent urination issues. We saw Dr Jonah and can’t recommend him enough. He was very empathetic to the difficulty we have been experiencing and was patient and thorough when talking through options. We are still trying to figure out what is going on with our dog but feel great about having dr Jonah continue to help us investigate.“

“Went in for some advice for my 10 month old white faced cockatiel, Betty was very informative and welcoming and complimented the state of my bird which I thought that was very comforting considering I'm a first time bird owner they have a wide variety of different bird toys, good sturdy perches with natural wood, bird cages, and types of birds to choose from, all the birds seemed tame, not too loud, un-clipped, clean, well fed, happy and well taken care of I will definitely be going there In the future for any of my bird needs“

“Bob, Annie and team are amazing! I sought them out after doing an online search and reaching out to several business for quotes. They were responsive throughout the month that I used them to walk my girlfriend's dog and Henry had such a great experience! Henry is a 2 year old Golden Retriever with tons of energy who loved all of the exercise and attention he got from Dave (our walker). Dave was super patient with Henry when it was his first time going. I watched from the house and saw how concerned Henry was about getting into the van but Dave just stood by and reassured him and waited until he was ready. The next, there was no holding Henry back!Thanks DGF! Appreciate you all!“

“The owner is great with my dog. I adopted my dog from the shelter, and he has severe severe, severe mental and behavioral issues from past trauma. It’s very hard to groom him and they are patient and take their time with him. sometimes he’s uncooperative, and I do have to pick him up because it becomes dangerous for the groomer and my dog when he will not stay still.“

“My girlfriend and I sent our 5month old pitty/chi mix, Birdie, to Lauren for a 2 week board and train program in LA. Birdie is a rescue who had a questionable past and was found in a field in rural California/Mexico border. We suspected she had some neck/back trauma as she came to us with some scarring. She is truly the sweetest, most mild tempered dog, but would turn on a dime when someone came up from behind her, or tried to put a harness or collar on her. Seriously at points she would go from an angel to a demon, and it started to really worry us. The sudden and unpredictable aggression was really hindering our training with her and general interactions with family, friends, and groomers, and worried us about developing into something where someone could get hurt. When we sent Birdie to Lauren, she knew some very basic training like "sit" and could do OK with "down." Her potty training was a 3/10, and walking her on a leash like pulling along a rock...LOL. During the two weeks, Lauren sent us in depth, adorable videos showing her progress and pics every single day without fail! She answered us quickly and was perfectly communicative. After two weeks, she came back to us knowing sit, down, place, and many other commands almost seamlessly. She could heel like a pro, and her potty training improved tremendously! Best of all...no longer was the harness or collar a nightmare...she was EXCITED to see it! We were floored. Her demeanor was completely different. She came back more loving, confident, and loyal than before (which we didn't even think was possible!) Obviously a dog can't fully be trained in 2 weeks, but Lauren built the strongest foundation with Birdie that we could ever imagine. She has a very intuitive, strong talent for understanding dogs, and we would recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Lauren! You've changed all (three!) of our lives, truly! :)“
