“Laura is AMAZING! I initially took my rescue dog, Bingo, to a local humane society for training, but unfortunately, she did not respond well to the trainer there. Foxy and the Hounds, the rescue organization I adopted Bingo from, recommended Laura and I am so glad they did!
After a phone consultation and reviewing a short video of the issue, Laura immediately helped me troubleshoot Bingo’s behavior and offered practical guidance over the phone. I was so impressed that I booked a package of three private sessions. I currently live in the Highland Park area, and Laura drove all the way out to meet with us. She was professional, patient, and incredibly helpful, giving me clear techniques to practice with Bingo between sessions (we initially worked on crate training then walking on leash and then just overall correction of bad behaviors).
I was genuinely surprised to see that someone had left Laura a one-star review because, in my experience, she is truly a dog whisperer! I plan to attend her group walking classes this Sunday (10/11) because Bingo can always benefit from extra reinforcement (and I am willing to drive 30 miles to work with her). That is how wonderful she is!
Bingo is very particular, and although I tried a few other trainers and group classes, she seemed to feel the most comfortable with Laura and genuinely loved her presence. I highly recommend her!”
