“We are French and were on holiday in julian at the beginning of september. Visiting our cousins. With my son, during a hike in the hills, we were stung by wasps. We started to have allergic skin reactions. I was really worry about that. We went to the clinic in julian, and there was a member of staff, with a good analysis of our problem, she recommended antihistamines. She even accompanied us to the grocery store on the main street to be sure that we bought the right medicine. I do not know the name of this woman, but i want to thank her warmly. Christophe“

“8/13/25 First time coming today and it was overall amazing and a breath of fresh air. Before I came to the sweet water location I was being seen by a rude doctor (not from akeso) who would cut me off while explaining symptoms, not listen or respond to them, and rushed my visit so I was really nervous / afraid to be seen by a new doctor. Dr Gray and her new trainee were so amazing and compassionate. They listened very well. Dr Gray checked my body and explained everything so thoroughly. I started to cry because I haven't had such amazing care before. They made me feel heard and gave me the emotional understanding I really needed. Dr Gray really gave me hope and made me feel more confident in my recovery. The front desk ladies (forgot their names) were awesome and helpful. Cesar the Physical therapist seems like a great human and I look forward to my first PT session. Thank you for being wonderful human beings! It's very needed in this world.

8/25 EDIT: I had my first Physical Therapy appointment with Mandy! Mandy was extremely professional, caring, educational, and very fun to talk to. I felt very comfortable. Mandy assessed my condition thoroughly and educated me on everything. Honestly one of the best physical therapy sessions I ever had.I have more hope about my healing. I look forward to my follow up appointments! I highly recommend Mandy & Akeso on Sweetwater Road to everyone.“

“It's a fast urgent care for Kaiser patients . The care is good and WAY WAY WAY faster than any Kaiser office. Highly recommend! You have to win the lotto for a Kaiser appointment sometimes but you can get fast appointments here.“

“My partner and I both received our Covid-19 Vaccines [Moderna] at this location and it was so easy and the nurses were very friendly, especially Brian! He actually made our experience funny and memorable, we even took pictures to remember this historical moment. The service is so nice, and my partner has his doctor at this health center. I was surprised to find out that my partner was able to make an appointment for the both of us to get our vaccines since it wasn't my clinic. I am most likely going to switch over to Samahan because I have witnessed how they treat him and he only has good things to say about Samahan. Even more, I love the Samahan health Center story. They began providing free primary healthcare to Filipino and Latino patients out of a barber shop in downtown San Diego." The doctors and nurses can speak Tagalog and Spanish, and they also have the cultural agility too!“

“Doctor Bernal is great. My daughter is 18mon and we have been coming here since her birth for all her periodic check ups. His nurse always tries to get a smile from the kids and is also very helpful. Any parent would be pleased bringing their children to be seen here. I have also done the online appointment booking at times on short notice and have found slots available either on the same day or within 48 hrs.“

“I have been here about 5 times since moving to San Diego. Our primary is on East Palomar but when I need urgent care, we come here. Most of the time the wait is very reasonable (45 min-2 hours) but they call and update you. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable about symptoms and what to do. All times we've gone, our prescriptions were sent over quickly and correctly.“

“I’ve been getting treatment here for about 3 years . It was a life changer . Dr Navarro and her team are wonderful . To have my back pain under control is a blessing . She does not throw pain pills at you . She comes up with a treatment plan and I’m now off pain pills living an active life , most importantly I’m able to sleep pain free !I recommend her and i also see Christopher Vargas between treatments for follow up appointments . Great team here . I’ve had no issues with billing or front desk . It’s a very busy office because they are good .“
