“I ADORE this spa! I found it early during my PhD when looking for a couples massage for my boyfriend and I. It was so good, I spent my paltry grad school money on an occasional massage. Prices are super fair for the services offered. I normally get the 1 hr or 90 min full body massage, with deep tissue focus, and leave feeling like a new person. Now, ~5 years later and post-PhD, I’m hoping to come more consistently to help with the stress I hold in my body.

The owner, Hunter, is fantastic. He’s always working the front desk. Today, I encountered an error booking online (first time ever, I always book online) and accidentally ended up booking 2 slots. Within minutes of this mistake, the owner had called me to confirm if I meant to book two appointments, before I had a chance to call them myself! I hurt my shoulder pretty badly in January, and now, 6 months later, I have some range back, but it's very stiff in my joint. Whatever magic Stephanie did in 1 hour of a combo session has me feeling better than I have since my injury!!! This is definitely the most mobile my shoulder has felt in 6 months, and I think it's because she really got in there and broke up all of the stiffness that has been building up from my injury.

I was trying to sign up for more time, but she was booked. I was very thankful that even in the 1 hour that we had, in a combo session, she was able to use such a mix of different modalities to create so much help for me. She was kind enough to offer 5 minutes of a face therapy because she didn't have enough time to do the full 15 that is available as an add-on. If you sign up, and you can add that on, I definitely would! The ultimate relaxer at the end of an amazing session.

She started with a conversation with me about what my needs and wants were from the session. Then, she did an amazing massage that really got into crevices that most people miss. After that she combined cupping, scraping with the Graston Technique metal tools, and getting deep with her hands for incredible soft tissue release, blood flow, and movement.
