“Laura Munoz, the Service manager at the Hollywood Mt Sinai is the kindest and most compassionate person I have encountered in my life.I am the lone survivor of my family. Recently I had heart surgery and am still recovering. My mother had requested before she passed away that on her birthday I remember her with a single Sunflower placed at her gravesite. She was an avid reader and had read a book written by Elie Wiesel. In the book he described being interred at Auschwitz and revisiting it years later. When he revisited the camp the carnage was gone, but in its place was a field of beautiful Sunflowers. My mother said it signified a rebirth of humanity. Her request was for me to remember her with a single Sunflower placed at her grave on her birthday.I called Mt Sinai and was informed that they no longer had a florist shop on site, but maybe Laura Munoz, their service manager could help. After speaking with her, she offered to buy the Sunflowers and place them at my family grave sites. She said she wanted to do it for me as a mitzvah! After she placed the sunflowers, she took pictures and sent them to me.Laura Munoz THANK YOU so MUCH!!! You brought tears to my eyes, but great joy to my heart!!!!!!!!!“

America was an excellent representative who guided us through every step of the process; her capable and compassionate nature were evident throughout our interactions. They provided the free, informative, and valuable after care services, which helped with tasks we needed to complete, bereavement support, and other related services. Our after care coordination meeting Kathy was particularly helpful. The online individual and group bereavement support through Ever After is also helpful, though my FIL had some difficulty managing the online platform. It is definitely worth the effort to try it. “I have lots of relatives buried here in the past and present. From my experience, the staff over the phone is very friendly and easy to speak to. In the cemetery, it feels secure, safe, and very peaceful. They also take good care of the cemetery and there aren't many parts that are overgrown. As far as funeral services, they did an amazing job with my great-grandparents. Cemetery information and times are also easy to find on their website or by calling them over the phone.“
