My husband was buried yesterday, and today I returned to place flowers on his grave before heading home. Unfortunately, the cemetery staff failed to replace the existing flower vase after the burial. My husband was buried alongside his sister, and the vase that had previously been in place was not returned.
I went to the cemetery office and was assured that someone would be sent immediately to resolve the issue. After waiting 30 minutes with no response, I called the office again because the flowers I had purchased were expensive and were beginning to wilt in the heat.

My wife passed away October 2nd 2025. I have been coming to the cemetery after her death, once or twice a week. Most of the time, myself and other grieving families cannot find a vase to put water in for the flowers that we bring.
I come each week to visit my daughter and most weeks I can’t get a cup for her flowers. It’s not like it’s late in the week either. By Saturday there is nothing! The area where my grandparents and cousins are buried have gophers holes and covered stones. I get they don’t care for the stones but the grounds around them should be cared for. Any other cemetery I go to they handle that! It’s called perpetual care for a reason. There are tree roots growing over some of the stones so that they can be seen and many are sunken.
