I would follow her anywhere. She can do it all, but OMG is she amazing at color and extensions! The salon is beautiful and everyone who works there is amazing. It’s such a warm and welcoming space. I love the energy of the salon and the artists who work there.

I recently visited N2 Aesthetics after following the wonderful Dr. Josh, and I was so impressed. The clinic itself is beautiful, spacious, clean, picturesque, and complete with the most charming courtyard. The entire team, including the reception staff, were warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating.
As for my dear Dr. Josh, he has been my aesthetic doctor since I moved to LA five years ago, and for good reason. He is attentive, kind, gracious, and exceptionally skilled. He listens carefully, studies your features with intention, and makes thoughtful suggestions to subtly and naturally enhance your face. I always say I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face, and it’s true. Dr. Josh is brilliant at what he does.

I have been taking my clothes here for years and every single time Ramin and Betty give me a warm welcome before working their magic to refresh my garments. They are extremely knowledgeable about all types of fabrics and know to be extra careful with delicate pieces. Their on-site alteration expert does a fantastic job tailoring and repairing clothes too! I feel so fortunate to have this wonderful, family owned business right around the corner from my house.
My visit with Dr. Egan was fantastic. She took the time to listen to my symptoms, timeline and concerns. She performed a thorough examination and provided me a diagnosis and treatment plan. I never felt hurried or rushed during the visit. I left the office feeling confident.

She is an excellent hairstylist, who ensures what you are expecting out of your haircut, blowout, and/or dye job is truly going to compliment you and your hair type. Being a curly/wavy girl with thick coarse hair finding someone who took those aspects into consideration when doing my hair was difficult.
This was my first time going to bonita salon and the accessible parking really sold me. Upon arrival front desk checked me in and offered me a complimentary beverage and that is always a nice plus since I didn't have time to make my own latte in the morning (it was delicious). The location is spacious and all equipment appears to be brand new. There is plenty of room between stations so your hairstylist and you are not bumping into your neighbor.
I cannot wait to come back for my next blowout with Jazmin at bonita salon.

I've had multiple wonderful experiences at Skin Spirit and I love that they offer a variety of services all in one gorgeous location. Dali is a wonderful aesthetician and gives the most relaxing facials. She is thorough in explaining the products she is using and the steps in her process. The bed is also unlike anything I've laid in, it's like a cloud. After any of her services, I feel so calm and renewed. I did Dysport (similar to Botox) with Montana D. too here and was pleasantly surprised by the precision and gentleness of her injecting technique. I had a bad experience elsewhere so I was nervous going into the appointment; but Montana was SO kind and informative. I winced with anticipation of the needle but it was not bad whatsoever at all... The women at front reception are warm and welcoming; but most importantly, they are super diligent and organized. So glad to have tried this a couple months ago, I'm hooked.

I came to Mud Honey for a simple haircut and ended up leaving with one of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had. I told Branka I was growing out my greys and wanted to embrace them, but still feel polished and put together—not overly styled, just natural and intentional. She completely got it.

Went in for a haircut at this conveniently located barbershop in downtown Manhattan Beach.I was pleasantly surprised to meet Antonio the barber who’s been there for 32 years. It’s the oldest barbershop around, being there for 90 years! It was the greatest experience. Great Precisionhaircut and gave me some whiskey sample as well. He also writes poetry and has a recital session every Thursday. This was a blast from the past for sure. I highly recommend this place.

The best salon in the South Bay! I’ve been seeing Michael for almost 10 years. I’ve followed him from salon to salon until he finally opened his own, because I love him SO MUCH, and no one does my hair like he does. There’s been times where I show him a picture, and he does exactly what i want. There’s also been times where I have no clue what I want to do, give him free reign, and it comes out gorgeous. He is amazing with blondes/brondes/balayage, and he knows exactly what I mean when I say I don’t want “yellow” or I want “ashy”. I think he really gets to know his clients and what they want, and that’s what makes him a master at his craft. He books out very far in advance (for good reason), so if you make an appointment, try to keep it !

We were very pleased with the two bathrooms Lux Builders remodeled for us. Sagi and his team helped us so much with the customized design - even going with us to pick out tiles and fixtures. We also appreciated that they were always reachable when we needed something. His workers were on time and respectful. Anytime there was an issue, they developed workable solutions. It was also very comforting that they provided clear transparency on all aspects of the project from design to city permitting to materials to costs. We would definitely recommend using the professionals at Lux Builders for any home project.
We hired Unique Remodeling to do an entire gut renovation of our house which included knocking down walls to open up a kitchen, creating a new bedroom out of a 2nd floor den, and completely changing the layout of two bathrooms. I worked directly with Effie who was the day to day lead on the project. Overall, I am very happy with the end result for the price we paid and am giving a 5 star rating based on value, responsiveness, and honesty.Before hiring Effie and his team I got quotes from 3 contractors, Unique Remodeling wasn't the cheapest but they were much less than the most expensive. I hired Effie because it was clear that he had deep experience actually doing the work. Most other contractors walked through and said they could do everything I wanted but Effie offered very clear feedback on certain design choices that he knew would be problematic (he was right).Overall, it was a pleasure working with Effie and his team. Like any big project, there were a few delays and mistakes along the way. And I told Effie he needs to hire a few more good project managers to make sure work gets coordinated better. But the important thing to me was that Effie was always highly responsive, quick to take accountability for any mistakes that popped up and re-do anything we weren't 100% satisfied with. And most importantly, Effie and his team delivered a quality end product, on budget, without any unexpected cost overruns. If you are looking for an honest contractor at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Unique Remodeling.

If you are looking for a chiropractor. Look no more. Dr. Anderson is amazing! I've been seeing another Chiropractor for many years whom I love very much. I specifically switch Chiropractors because I was looking for someone that did focus shockwave therapy which Dr. Anderson does. In doing so I went ahead and just had him do the normal checking and adjusting and I can tell he's extremely thorough, comprehensive, and offer different types of adjustment and stretching that my previous Chiropractor did not. Most important the reason why I know he's fantastic is I've had severe neck pain for years. I've always had a knot on my upper right side of the base of my head, which causes me to wake up constantly in the middle of night with pain. Magically after two visits with Dr. Anderson he was able to basically adjust my neck and I no longer have neck pain, I'm sleeping through the night, and my neck feels so much better. I'm extremely grateful I found him and I highly recommend him if you're looking for a chiropractor. I also appreciate the flexibly of late appts after work. Thank you Dr. Anderson !!!

Dr. Stell is fantastic! Ive been going to her for years. Most recently had a pinched nerve that was causing nonstop pain for a couple weeks in my shoulder. Dr. Stell isolated the location of the pinched nerve, alleviated the pain and provided some take-home exercises and prevention tips. Within 3 days I was back to normal. Highly recommend. She has healed my wrist injury pain that I've had for months, in just one session. Just like that, no more pain. I keep waiting for the pain to come back, but it seems long gone. She has also helped me with my diet, and I have gone from good to great, giving me the advantage in all my sports training. I can't thank Dr. Nazila enough for all that she's done for me in such a short period of time. If you are looking for some serious healing by taking a good look at yourself, especially at your habits, then she is the healer for you. She will tell you what you need to hear and what you need to do to become a better and healthier version of yourself, and will keep you accountable. Dr. Phillips is very smart and helps solve most skin problem I've had. The staff are nice and efficient. Easy to make appointments. The parking lot can sometimes be stressful so I recommend parking in lower level. Also Kellie is the best esthetician highly recommend booking an appointment with her if you want life-changing results

Have been going to this yoga studio for the past four years, and it is wonderful. The owners and teachers are all devoted to creating a perfect yoga atmosphere for the students. And the variety of classes from yin to chair to slow flow to vinyasa make it a studio that works for all bodies’s needs.
I can’t say enough good things about this studio! The entire staff is amazing—super knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming. Classes are filled with people from all stages of life. I also love how there isn’t a mirror in the studio, I’m much more connected to how my body feels throughout class as opposed to getting distracted trying to perfect my alignment. 12/10!
Pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was - the teacher, Dan, and the other yoga practitioners were super right on! I came in from out of town and I felt very comfortable here getting a very detail oriented sequence. Awesome brief sound bath following the asanas - kind of like a special at the end of class that day. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Great vibes.
A lovely little gem of a studio. The only disappointments are the lack of parking and no shower. I was fortunate to take class on a weekday at 9 AM so there was plenty of street meter parking. Even so, one has to be careful of the no parking signs for street cleaning and all the various rules. When I mentioned the of the parking to the front desk, she said yes the weekdays were easier. So I would definitely give yourself a healthy amount of time to find a parking spot, at least 15 minutes. I just happen to get lucky. Space is very tranquil. It's lovely and full of light and has really beautiful hardwood floors. There is one tiny bathroom with a sink with only cold water. No place to shower nor change. Bring your own mat or you can pay to rent one. All the props are generously loaned for free, including bolsters, blankets blocks and straps. The class was not too challenging. I didn't break a sweat. But perhaps there are other classes that are more intense. But it was a restful and centering class. TL/dr: perfect spot for locals to enjoy yoga.
I took D’Andre’s heated C2 flow at CorePower Manhattan Beach, and it was one of those classes that stays with you…not just physically, but internally.
This is an intermediate class in both heat and movement. The music set the tone right away, starting with “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield and building from there (BIG smile). From the beginning, D’Andre framed the practice around calm as the foundation — not calm as stillness, but calm carried through dynamic movement.
What stands out the most is the pacing. The sequence kept changing just enough that you couldn’t go on autopilot. I noticed my own tendency to want to memorize and “take over,” and that simply just wasn’t possible here. It became a presence game: Stay with the breath, stay with what’s actually happening.
Throughout the class, D’Andre kept pointing us toward the balance between effort and ease. In the longer holds and closing poses, he emphasized steady breath as we moved deeper — finding the edge and softening into it at the same time. His guidance was definitely speaking to something deeper than just physical form, and it was a reminder that the breath naturally points us toward our higher qualities, on and off the mat.
Simply put: This is an equanimity practice — and the breath is the bridge to that balance.
Practical notes: Plenty of mall parking, free blocks and straps, lockers with built-in locks, water station; plus showers and amenities like deodorant, mouthwash, Q-tips, and hair dryers.
Fun note: It happened to be my 555th class at CorePower (such a fun milestone)!
Over The Moon Wellness was a great find. Patty saved my vacation. We came for the Rose Bowl and a week of sightseeing but the first thing I did was fall into some hedges. My leg was spasming, cramping, making it difficult to walk. Patty found the pressure points to get the muscles to calm down and allow healing to begin.
Don’t be fooled by look outside. This tucked into an office type building, but inside it is a very calming environment. I didn’t see an elevator or handicap entrance. I went up and down by the circle stairs.

Dr. Kelley is very knowledgeable in a wide range of modalities including acupuncture (with electro stimulation). It gives me relief from my chronic back problems like no other treatment including PT, massage, and pain meds. She’s also super pleasant and reasonably priced. I’m lucky to have this place down the street!
