I have been going to Julie for haircuts and color for the last two years. Once I found Julie, I have never looked back. It is rare to find a hair stylist who you feel so comfortable with and trust completely. I have found that with Julie! She genuinely listens to your hair goals and wants the best for you/your hair. She empowers me to make fun choices while always keeping in mind practicality (do I want to style it every day, do I prefer minimal effort, etc.) She asks important questions and presents options to make sure I like what we’re doing.
Julie is consistent, reliable and always delivers exactly what I’m looking for. Can’t recommend her enough!
If you need a lash lift or facial services look no further. I had a lash lift and it was the BEST I’ve ever had! Shabby has such a beautiful soul and craft ?? When I go to other places, I’m left with a really tight unnatural curl and/or crooked lashes. Shabby left me with the prettiest natural curl and uniform lashes!! The products are also so gentle (at other places, you can smell the harshness of the product or even feel burning sensations in the eye). The process seemed so seamless... and on top of that, the place has such a beautiful ambiance (plants everywhere, cute treatment space, and VERY clean). I can’t wait to come back for a facial!! ? I was skeptical about filler until I discovered Nicola a few years ago and saw how she can transform a person's face with a beautiful, natural look. She is the GO TO person if you are thinking about filler and botox. You will not find anyone more talented and accomplished! And she is the sweetest person on top of that!
To top it off, she has created a beautiful, welcoming space for you to come and get your treatments.

I have been taking my clothes here for years and every single time Ramin and Betty give me a warm welcome before working their magic to refresh my garments. They are extremely knowledgeable about all types of fabrics and know to be extra careful with delicate pieces. Their on-site alteration expert does a fantastic job tailoring and repairing clothes too! I feel so fortunate to have this wonderful, family owned business right around the corner from my house.
My visit with Dr. Egan was fantastic. She took the time to listen to my symptoms, timeline and concerns. She performed a thorough examination and provided me a diagnosis and treatment plan. I never felt hurried or rushed during the visit. I left the office feeling confident.
I had a wonderful facial by Tracey. It was so relaxing. She has years of experience as an aesthetician and it shows. My skin was glowing for days after the facial.

She is an excellent hairstylist, who ensures what you are expecting out of your haircut, blowout, and/or dye job is truly going to compliment you and your hair type. Being a curly/wavy girl with thick coarse hair finding someone who took those aspects into consideration when doing my hair was difficult.
This was my first time going to bonita salon and the accessible parking really sold me. Upon arrival front desk checked me in and offered me a complimentary beverage and that is always a nice plus since I didn't have time to make my own latte in the morning (it was delicious). The location is spacious and all equipment appears to be brand new. There is plenty of room between stations so your hairstylist and you are not bumping into your neighbor.
I cannot wait to come back for my next blowout with Jazmin at bonita salon.

I've had multiple wonderful experiences at Skin Spirit and I love that they offer a variety of services all in one gorgeous location. Dali is a wonderful aesthetician and gives the most relaxing facials. She is thorough in explaining the products she is using and the steps in her process. The bed is also unlike anything I've laid in, it's like a cloud. After any of her services, I feel so calm and renewed. I did Dysport (similar to Botox) with Montana D. too here and was pleasantly surprised by the precision and gentleness of her injecting technique. I had a bad experience elsewhere so I was nervous going into the appointment; but Montana was SO kind and informative. I winced with anticipation of the needle but it was not bad whatsoever at all... The women at front reception are warm and welcoming; but most importantly, they are super diligent and organized. So glad to have tried this a couple months ago, I'm hooked.

Everyone was gentle and respectable, the moment I walked in it smelled like clean clothes and I was greeted by the friendly front desk. My facial was like floating on a cloud, my esthetician knew what she was doing and made sure I knew and was comfortable with everything. This is my favorite nail salon in Manhattan Beach and all of the South Bay! They do amazing manicures, pedicures, and waxing services. Everyone that works there is so nice and they also have a convenient online booking system. Highly recommend!

It was an awe-inspiring and surprising experience for me to use your service repair. The plumber did the service in a very swift and accurate manner. It was a great service and I would surely recommend this to everyone I know.
If I could give a 4.5 that's what I would give. The only reason it's not a 5 is the price. I didn't choose Best Way Plumbing because of the price, there were cheaper plumbers, I chose them because they are local and highly rated.
I can also understand why they weren't the cheapest, because the service was excellent and very fast. Bob changed 2 washing machine bibs and a leaking sink valve in 30 minutes, just like he said. I choose the fast and a little more expensive rather than the little less expensive and taking a lot longer.
They were also very curtious. Living in the South Bay with the shared driveways, they actually parked on the street instead of blocking the shared driveway which I thought was a very good first impression. Most non-local companies won't do that.

We were very pleased with the two bathrooms Lux Builders remodeled for us. Sagi and his team helped us so much with the customized design - even going with us to pick out tiles and fixtures. We also appreciated that they were always reachable when we needed something. His workers were on time and respectful. Anytime there was an issue, they developed workable solutions. It was also very comforting that they provided clear transparency on all aspects of the project from design to city permitting to materials to costs. We would definitely recommend using the professionals at Lux Builders for any home project.
We hired Unique Remodeling to do an entire gut renovation of our house which included knocking down walls to open up a kitchen, creating a new bedroom out of a 2nd floor den, and completely changing the layout of two bathrooms. I worked directly with Effie who was the day to day lead on the project. Overall, I am very happy with the end result for the price we paid and am giving a 5 star rating based on value, responsiveness, and honesty.Before hiring Effie and his team I got quotes from 3 contractors, Unique Remodeling wasn't the cheapest but they were much less than the most expensive. I hired Effie because it was clear that he had deep experience actually doing the work. Most other contractors walked through and said they could do everything I wanted but Effie offered very clear feedback on certain design choices that he knew would be problematic (he was right).Overall, it was a pleasure working with Effie and his team. Like any big project, there were a few delays and mistakes along the way. And I told Effie he needs to hire a few more good project managers to make sure work gets coordinated better. But the important thing to me was that Effie was always highly responsive, quick to take accountability for any mistakes that popped up and re-do anything we weren't 100% satisfied with. And most importantly, Effie and his team delivered a quality end product, on budget, without any unexpected cost overruns. If you are looking for an honest contractor at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Unique Remodeling.
I needed an urgent appointment to repair a crown, and they were able to help me right away! Fortunately, the crown was not broken so they were able to clean the tooth and reattach the crown within an hour. If you are looking for a chiropractor. Look no more. Dr. Anderson is amazing! I've been seeing another Chiropractor for many years whom I love very much. I specifically switch Chiropractors because I was looking for someone that did focus shockwave therapy which Dr. Anderson does. In doing so I went ahead and just had him do the normal checking and adjusting and I can tell he's extremely thorough, comprehensive, and offer different types of adjustment and stretching that my previous Chiropractor did not. Most important the reason why I know he's fantastic is I've had severe neck pain for years. I've always had a knot on my upper right side of the base of my head, which causes me to wake up constantly in the middle of night with pain. Magically after two visits with Dr. Anderson he was able to basically adjust my neck and I no longer have neck pain, I'm sleeping through the night, and my neck feels so much better. I'm extremely grateful I found him and I highly recommend him if you're looking for a chiropractor. I also appreciate the flexibly of late appts after work. Thank you Dr. Anderson !!!

Dr. Stell is fantastic! Ive been going to her for years. Most recently had a pinched nerve that was causing nonstop pain for a couple weeks in my shoulder. Dr. Stell isolated the location of the pinched nerve, alleviated the pain and provided some take-home exercises and prevention tips. Within 3 days I was back to normal. Highly recommend. I am active in the sport of jiu jitsu, and she was highly recommended by a very trust worthy and intelligent friend. She came at a time when I needed her expertise and treatment the most. She has healed my wrist injury pain that I've had for months, in just one session. Just like that, no more pain. I keep waiting for the pain to come back, but it seems long gone. She has also helped me with my diet, and I have gone from good to great, giving me the advantage in all my sports training. Dr. Phillips is very smart and helps solve most skin problem I've had. The staff are nice and efficient. Easy to make appointments. The parking lot can sometimes be stressful so I recommend parking in lower level. Also Kellie is the best esthetician highly recommend booking an appointment with her if you want life-changing results

Have been going to this yoga studio for the past four years, and it is wonderful. The owners and teachers are all devoted to creating a perfect yoga atmosphere for the students. And the variety of classes from yin to chair to slow flow to vinyasa make it a studio that works for all bodies’s needs.
The workers and coaches at Sol Seek are kind and welcoming. There are a variety of classes to take and the studio is clean.

Pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was - the teacher, Dan, and the other yoga practitioners were super right on! I came in from out of town and I felt very comfortable here getting a very detail oriented sequence. Awesome brief sound bath following the asanas - kind of like a special at the end of class that day. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Great vibes.
I took D’Andre’s heated C2 flow at CorePower Manhattan Beach, and it was one of those classes that stays with you…not just physically, but internally.
This is an intermediate class in both heat and movement. The music set the tone right away, starting with “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield and building from there (BIG smile). From the beginning, D’Andre framed the practice around calm as the foundation — not calm as stillness, but calm carried through dynamic movement.
What stands out the most is the pacing. The sequence kept changing just enough that you couldn’t go on autopilot. I noticed my own tendency to want to memorize and “take over,” and that simply just wasn’t possible here. It became a presence game: Stay with the breath, stay with what’s actually happening.
Throughout the class, D’Andre kept pointing us toward the balance between effort and ease. In the longer holds and closing poses, he emphasized steady breath as we moved deeper — finding the edge and softening into it at the same time. His guidance was definitely speaking to something deeper than just physical form, and it was a reminder that the breath naturally points us toward our higher qualities, on and off the mat.
Simply put: This is an equanimity practice — and the breath is the bridge to that balance.
Practical notes: Plenty of mall parking, free blocks and straps, lockers with built-in locks, water station; plus showers and amenities like deodorant, mouthwash, Q-tips, and hair dryers.
Fun note: It happened to be my 555th class at CorePower (such a fun milestone)!
Over The Moon Wellness was a great find. Patty saved my vacation. We came for the Rose Bowl and a week of sightseeing but the first thing I did was fall into some hedges. My leg was spasming, cramping, making it difficult to walk. Patty found the pressure points to get the muscles to calm down and allow healing to begin.
Don’t be fooled by look outside. This tucked into an office type building, but inside it is a very calming environment. I didn’t see an elevator or handicap entrance. I went up and down by the circle stairs.

I moved to the area last September and was hoping to find a functional medicine doctor. I saw Dr Lea Kelley was nearby so I reached out to her to make an appointment. I had seen multiple doctors, naturopaths and various health practitioners who were at times helpful it were unsuccessful in helping me figure out some of my symptoms. After a few treatments, the acute pain in my hands went away and some of my more chronic issues like neuropathy in my hands and feet have decreased dramatically. As I have continued to visit Dr. Lea Kelley for acupuncture, the Bemer, and some other testing, we have been able to identify and work to treat several core health issues. I am very grateful to have found her and to continue to work with her. Her knowledge, competence and kindness are incredible. She has such depth of experience and capacity that she can address pretty much any health or medical challenges by going to the root causes. She is also a one stop shop because she has so many different modalities she can offer. I highly recommend working with her!
