I can say this honestly it was the best nail salon I have ever been to. Lovely atmosphere, customer service right from the start, and the staff were so kind and chatty all the way through my appointment. It was a very thorough treatment. I got builder gel with a design (reverse polka dot) and I am so insanely happy with the result. For me the only downside was the price as it was 75$, but I could justify why it was on the pricier side due to the quality. Overall could not recommend more.

I have to share that every time I call to make an appointment, it just rings, super frustrating. There are times when I actually have to walk in and make my appointment. Not very customer centric. I may have to start going somewhere else, but, I do love my nail, tech, Tiffany! She is awesome.

I recently had a bad experience at a different salon in the area, and my friend found Polish by Sand Spa and I’m so glad she did!!! I’ve always done acrylic nails and was nervous about trying gel-x, but I am loving my nails and had an amazing time here! I went to the downtown manhattan beach location, and Cici did a fantastic job. She made sure I was okay with the length and color beforehand, and even pointed out an example of what they would look like before as well. She was so funny and sweet, and I LOVE how my nails turned out. And these were my engagement nails! I’ve found my new regular spot and can’t wait to go back!!!
