I had the best first experience at Urban Salt! I went in because I haven't been able to kick lingering cold/flu symptoms and Dr Diane was really kind and helpful. She put needles in my front and then after had me flip over to my back to put needles there too. She also rubbed some balm on my sore muscles. I felt pampered leaving there! She also recommended some herbs that I could use, and they had a pediatric version I got for my daughter too. Both acupuncture and herbs were a great price. I can't wait to go back.

Seriously the best! Was in Long Beach visiting from LA and stopped by. Dinnie was so amazing. They helped me make sense of my gobbledegook request to have a short haircut which was more masc but not too masc but also helped me ease into my first short haircut… I so appreciated them working with me and am really happy with the result. Iff you want your hair cut.or styled in a stress free, relaxing environment than this is the place. Upon entering the salon is warm sun light and calm atmosphere. . Khan , the owner, is soft spoken and automatically makes you feel relaxed. She asks what you're looking for in the cut, and listens exclusively to what you desire. She never has the place full of people because I believe she likes to give each customer their own time with 100 % dedication to what they want. When I wanted layers but to keep length it was done with precision and care and was under $50. Where can you find that with an excellent stylist. Also I stumbled upon her salon when looking for an elderly friend who needed cut and color. She took her I'm open arms and my friend loved the color and cut results. It's hard to find places that don't just cater to the young. I would highly recommend.

I have nothing but great things to say about Antonetti's Hair! I came to get a balayage done back in March, and the staff there were too kind and very welcoming! They got me a drink from Starbucks and the atmosphere/energy was amazing as everyone enjoyed what they do. To be more specific, shout out to my hairstylist, Chrissy Calma! She executed exactly what I had envisioned for my balayage and after a few months, my balayage has grown out really nicely and looks very lived in. Will definitely be back soon!
After I lost my barber to France (the country) I struggled mightily to find someone that was not only rad at men's hair, but also a good dude behind the chair. I finally found that in Brian. Not only does this guy know his way around a hair follicle, but his eucalyptus warm rag treatment, straight razor abilities and amazing candor has him locked into my go-to stylist, barber, hair-guy. Rad location. Rad cut. Rad dude. City Love is the (curse word) best!
Very grateful that I was able to secure an appointment same day! I came in for a low taper, and to shape the top to be low maintenance but so I could style it to a professional appearance if I want to. I'm very happy how it came out and I will be returning. The shop is decorated to resemble an old school barbershop look, which is a refreshing change compared to the shops i've been at around the area.

The whole vibe in the shop was super welcoming and everyone was very cool. I needed a haircut the same day and the only appointment i was able to get was with Jocelyn aka JAWS and I'm happy she cut my hair! Not only did she take her time to perfect the cut but she also took the time to ask questions on how I like my haircut and showed me a few tips on how to style my hair. Her knowledge and expertise as a barber is outstanding. My hair has not looked so fresh and so clean in monthsssss and Jaws brought me back to life after a bad haircut from another barber. Great vibes all around. The barber closest to the door greeted me and asked me who i was here for (I recommend booking online it's super easy) and told me he'd be right with me. The atmosphere is very professional and super chill at the same time. The shop is very clean and decorated very well. Good bops playing and they offer you a beer which in my opinion is pretty sick. Joe P and Jose B are friendly and do a great job of giving you what you ask for. It's an extremely comfortable environment and all the barbers are genuine and nice. Highly recommended

I went to Los Angeles during my vacation and came across this place. I never would have thought it would turn out this good. The lady, whose name I cannot recall was extremely nice and gentle with me. She completely understood what I wanted and how I wanted it. Definitely recommend !
There are no rooms, simply curtains all over the place in one giant long room like they do it in Thailand just more dimly lit to provide somewhat of a spa atmosphere but don't come here expecting a spa like lotion rub down. The Thai women will step on you, jab their elbows on your back and push you around with their heels all in the name of relieving all your tensions. It's not a pretty process - a quite painful one at that but once they're done getting their hands on you it's pure bliss. You leave feeling like jello.
dolly was amazing with my pedicure, would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a calm atmosphere and environment, the staff here is very friendly and the service is done very well. dolly took the time to sit and manually fan my toes so they would dry quicker. 100% would be coming back every 2 weeks.

The first time I came to the salon, I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and enthusiasm of the staff here. Not only is Tina very good at doing nails, but she is also very patient and pays attention to every detail when advising me on suitable nail designs. Every time I enter the salon, I am offered water, making me feel very comfortable. On cold days, drinking a cup of hot tea here is truly a wonderful experience. That made my mother and I both really enjoy it and will come back!

I’ve been doing my own at home, but decided to give Bella Nails a chance (I had never been) since I am going on a three week trip this summer and wanted to do a “trial run”. The service was excellent, the ladies were so sweet, and my nails looked beautiful. AND they still looked gorgeous after a few weeks! I’ll be back for my nails before my trip!

Super sweet owner and she has a pretty cute dog the day I went! I went in to get a trim (both my hair, which was pretty long and my fringe) and it turned out great! She also added in a treatment for my hair as she felt my hair was a little too dry lol and needed a bit of hydration and I was able to feel the difference even a few days after my visit! Def would recommend trying this salon out!
Been about 3 going in 4 months since I've began my sugar Journey and I'm so glad I stuck around the first visit I didn't take any Tylenol 30 minutes beforehand so even though me Esti Janie at the traffic circle location was very gentle it was a bit painful but after that first round it's so worth the results and pain went from being high to moderate or even painless at some moments I truly recommend getting sugared with Sugar cove specifically the traffic circle location ask for Janie! You won't be disappointed and I will continue to get sugared going forward!

Raquel is amazing at explaining how the whole process for a Brazilian wax is going to go also explains all the after care needs. I think I started going to her about 2 years ago and I love the service. I even started to do brow lamination and tint and I love it, has made a big difference on my eyebrows. So if you are nervous about waxing give her a try she does not judge and any questions you have she is happy to answer and will give you her advice and makes you feel at ease.

I've been seeing Eli since my first time getting waxed in 2011! She is quite amazing and is an incredible person. She'll make you feel comfortable right from the get-go. ESPECIALLY if it's your first time. The conversations you'll have are so natural and genuine. Availability is always a little tight since she's a one-woman business, but she is quick and efficient, so able to fit more clients. I've been seeing her for years so it's nice to go in, catch up, and update each other on our lives. The parking on premises can be a little eh but I get over it. Overall - I LOVE THE WOMAN and I highly recommend her.
I can't not say enough good things about Veronica! I have always been hesitant to get a facial because of how self conscious I was of my acne prone skin. However, Veronica made me feel so comfortable and seen. Each appointment feels personalized to my skin and its needs. Her set up is so relaxing and fun. I was treated at the Sacred Glo last Saturday and couldn't recommend them more. I had a deep cleansing facial and my skin felt incredible after! I also recently had a lash lift and tint as an alternative to lash extensions and I loved how I didn't have to wear mascara after when getting ready. My brother and I were walking to a different shop for his first and my 6th tattoo. Along the way, we passed Halo and he remarked how nice it was inside; indeed! Clean, cute, bright. He did a quick review search-highly rated. We were getting small tattoos and already had our images downloaded on my phone, so Melanie made space in her afternoon (even though she had a client) and did our tattoos right then. She could not have been nicer and more professional. I have been tattooed in a few different local and higher end shops, and this was as good as they come. Great work, great energy, 10/10-will return!
Best tattoo experience I have had! My tattoo artist was John Hudic (check out his Insta! He has some serious talent!). John has been the only tattoo artist I have had who really took his time to understand what exactly I wanted (first through email and then through a sit down session). He really listened and even took the time to see some more inspiration pictures I had.
When I returned and he showed me his design, he even went away for a little to give me space and time to really look at the design to make sure I felt comfortable and liked it.
Overall, I think my tattoo took about three full-day sessions. John made the sessions super chill. I felt like I could joke around with him and just talk, but he was also chill when I wanted to just watch my shows on my phone or go to sleep for a little while.
The studio itself is super cool as well and I can tell all of the artists are super talented. They even have a room for the artists to just work on their creative project like paintings or sculptures. They are AMAZING!
I’m a girl and got my leg tattooed (from my hip all the way to my ankle) and although I think it may have been easy to feel some kind of way in some tattoo studios, here it felt super safe, chill, and fun. With John you are truly hiring an artist and a professional. Could not recommend him more! His shop has the super chill homey vibe; like you're hanging out on the couch watching Netflix with your friends and getting tattoos type vibe. I had a service request today....clogged kitchen sink . My neighbor had recommended J & D Plumbing to me. The plumber arrived at the promised time and set right to work. I noticed that he was very careful and respectful of my property. Plumbing can be messy job, but he took precautions to protect my wood floors, etc. When he had successfully resolved the problem, he completely cleaned the under sink cabinet, leaving it better than he found it!! And whatever the spray cleaner was smelled really good I have used them several times now and am very satisfied.
Ricardo and his crew were great to work with. He first provided free in-home quotation for repiping the entire house. His quote was fair and very competitive compared to other quotes I received from local companies. He worked with our city to obtain appropriate permits. He completed the project swiftly on a projected timeline. After the repiping, we noted leak underneath the kitchen sink. He sent his plumber to address this promptly and even had a water filter person change tubing in our reverse osmosis system which was leaking. He was present during final inspection. Repiping, stucco repair, drywall repair everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this business and will be referring friends and family.

Had a beautiful job done on my flooring here. Measurements and estimates were provided timely. They were flexible as I had to delay the start date due to the timing of the construction.
I had about 1100 SF of carpet that I wanted to tear out and was looking for a company that could stain and refinish the white oak parquet floors that were underneath the carpet. I requested an initial quote through Yelp and Bino's team was able to follow up with an in-person walkthrough to confirm the condition and square footage. I received a quote of about $6,600 for labor and materials, which took into account the condition of the flooring underneath. It took about 2 weeks between when I paid my deposit and when the work was able to start. Carpet tear-out took about a day. It took about a week (weekends included) to sand the floors, stain, and apply 3 coats of oil-based PU. Alejandro did the bulk of the refinishing and was a pro at his job. He did a great job patching parts of the floors that were damaged and with refinishing everything.Two months have passed since the job was completed and the floors still look amazing. I would highly recommend Bino's Flooring to anyone looking to get their floors refinished.
After removing the carpeting that had been in place for approximately 24 years, the original hardwood floors in my 1923 California bungalow (living room, dining room and hallway) looked beyond repair. I took Kevin‘s good advice to sand them before making a decision about completely replacing them. Glad I listened to Kevin! After the floors were sanded, it was an easy decision to replace the small areas that were beyond repair and then refinish the floors. I am super happy with the outcome! Reasonable price, too! These guys are the real deal. My brother runs a roofing company in North Carolina and unfortunately couldn’t do my flat roof in SoCal. I met with about a dozen roofers and would then ask my brother for advice. Home Renew isn’t the cheapest, but they’re licensed, and have been in business for a while. Beware the warranty of guys that are unlicensed and have no record of being in business. They disappear with your warranty!
Amir Inbal was our project manager and was incredibly helpful. He was very upfront with the pricing, speedy with answering our array of questions, and quick and open with communication any time we needed him. The guys they sent to do the roof were hustlers. They came quickly after agreeing to do the project. They had a small army and were efficient and thorough. The roof looks great. They also did mold remediation and patching in the primary bedroom and did a fantastic job. I’ve worked with contractors before. If Home Renew is a little more expensive, it’s worth having the warranty and a contractor that is fast and doesn’t flake. Ask for Amir, and good luck out there!

After moving into my new home, I knew it needed a lot of help but had no idea how to get there. I've been working with Harding Design and Construction for about 6 months now as we go through the plans and permitting process with the city. Wes has been great about listening to what I was looking for, as well as, working within the budget parameters I had in mind. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with HTA Construction. From the very beginning Brady was very helpful throughout this whole process. I had received many bids for my ADU project and what stood out the most was their itemized quote that was very transparent and kept me aware of where my funds would be allocated. They also offered to take me to projects they were currently working on so I could get an in person demonstration of their work. Working in real estate I have worked with hundreds of contractors and Dean is the best! The first man I hired to cut down a rather large tree and grind down the stump disappeared after he took down the tree leaving the stump. I called Dean and he came right out and gave me a quote. I hired Dean that day. He did a wonderful job where we couldnt see the stump or roots that had spred in the yard. You would never know a tree was there. Perfect! Also a prior tree trimmer assured me the tree roots were in no way going to damage my brick walkway. Wrong! The roots lifted and broke some of the bricks bad. Dean to the rescue! He was able to grind the raised bricks perfectly! Dean not only is excellent at his trade he is very personable and enjoyable to work with. Dean said he may be branching out in other areas with work around homes. I'm looking forward to hearing which ones as I will definitely hire him.

terrific. I have a huge eucalyptus tree & was afraid of branches falling on my neighbor's patio. The employee climbed the tree to prune it perfectly. They also pruned another tree, topped the bushes along the back wall & artfully trimmed my trumpet vines. I highly recommend them. The employees are friendly & they clean everything up before leaving. .

I've been taking my three kids here since 2020, and I am so happy I found Pediatric Dental Specialists and Dr. Cortez. They are great with kids, helpful and efficient. I never thought I’d write a review for a dentist because they honestly terrify me. It had been 4 years since my last cleaning and exam so I was nervous when I initially went in last month. Everyone from the receptionist to the X-Ray tech was kind and knowledgeable. I also learned so much about my teeth! I had a deep cleaning and need to go back for fillings (sorry mom) but I’m actually not anxious about it. And who thought I’d actually want to come back in 6 months for a cleaning - not me :)

I have had a mixed experience with my last foot doctor and decided to take the advice of a customer that was discussing the doctor down the street from my work as they ranted and raved about the foot doctor I was lucky enough to grab a canceled appointment . Well I had a great experience from my first interaction. I walked up to check in with receptionist as I was taking care of the payment for the office visit. The gal at the front desk was very helpful and explained the process and how the deductible was taken care of the overage was explained by the front desk person and she continued on to state that they would issue a check if the insurance covers the payment will be reimbursed. I realized at that time that the majority of the doctors staff were and are my customers at the vons grocery store up the street. The physician assistant/ xray technician I also knew as customers. And she was very nice and helpful . NOW the doctor was absolutely incredible she had an amazing soft touch with blinders to stop the patient from seeing needles. She wanted me to compare her injection to the last foot doctor. Well since I flew in the air and this new doctor was so good she gave me two shots and I had no pain while she finished and felt very little pain if any. After looking over the X-rays and the other doctors report Dr Khalwam found d the problem that has been obvious and began treating my pain and then will fix the other problems that I have on my over worked feet. She was amazing and is gonna take the screws out in the next few days I give the dr Khalwam and her amazing staff a 10 out of 10

Leo has been super instrumental in helping me overcome a variety of issues: hip, back, and even pec/shoulder impingement. He employs a wide variety of techniques with his treatments and is able to cruise through a ton of them over the course of the appointment. As new problems present themselves, he's able to adjust his treatment to match whatever is flaring up at the time. He's also able to coach you through lifestyle changes, stretches and exercises you can do in between treatments to really get rid of the problem for good.

I have seen her many times hours before I have a performance. Many times when I can barely walk. She does her magic and I am on stage! Yup. She cares. She knows. She does.
Come one, come all because Dr. Wooten sees both dog and human patients! I first found out about this practice because my rescue dog Darby has luxating patellas in his hind legs, which in layman's terms is bad knees - pretty common in small dogs. Darby has visited as a patient twice and while understandably a little nervous, was comfortable around Dr. Wooten because he is very gentle and goes at a pace your dog is comfortable with. We also participated in a recent public demo that Dr. Wooten put on over the weekend illustrating some techniques to help your pet thrive! I myself went in as a patient for the first time after waking up with some wrist pain and tweaking my neck and lower back. While I thought it was carpal tunnel syndrome, Dr. Wooten provided a more accurate assessment of tendinitis. He looked at both my neck/shoulder area and spine and also confirmed that these were probably some more chronic issues than I'd initially thought. With this prognosis, Dr. Wooten offered an abundance of practical actions I can do on a daily basis. When you visit Dr. Wooten, he doesn't just fix the issue - he provides you with a toolkit so that you can take your physical health into your own hands!
A review of Dr. Wooten's office wouldn't be complete without giving Rick a shout-out - he's awesome - and the fact that this establishment is obviously dog-friendly. Dr. Wooten's dogs, Nikki and Blake, hang out behind the reception area :) My experience has been that appointments are relatively easy to get and when you leave a message, you'll always get a call back from Rick by the end of day. In terms of cleanliness, Dr. Wooten himself is the one who wipes everything down. I truly couldn't recommend seeing Dr. Wooten more for your chiropractic needs and will happily refer anyone, human or canine!

We were very happy with the care at Primary Care Animal Hospital. Dr. Kate Raczak and the assistants were amazing with our dog’s first vet visit and made her very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful with answering our questions and taking care of our girl. I was recommended to see Dr. Raczak by two of my patients at work and could not be happier!

Best Vet and staff I have ever been to in this area . I have been a vet tech for a while and retired but I can tell you I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here for my beloved dog Bogey. My dog actually thinks he is his bff and wags his tail like crazy when he sees him. I am thankful I found this place that is clean, calm and friendly. I also love he doesn’t have over the top prices and makes it respectfully fair to all. It’s nice to find a gem like this and I will not go anywhere else.

This is the absolute best dog groomer we have found. We have taken our Sheepadoodle to a few different groomers and he had ended up pretty traumatized. We started coming here and they treat him with so much care, kindness and patience. Now he is excited when we drop him off and not desperate to leave when he is done. If you are looking for a trustworthy groomer who truly cares about the well being of your dog and also gives a great haircut this is the only place to go. Our dude has improved so much with tolerating the parts of grooming he isn't a fan of and it's 100% because of taking him here!

The class size was small, which allowed individualized attention and closeness. The yoga practice itself was amazing. Yoga108 is the best of the best. The instructors have such positive energy and every time I leave the studio I feel like I just had a massage. This studio offers a good workout but also a relaxing experience. I've been going here since September 2023 and I always leave feeling satisfied. The studio is heated for some classes which is a plus because you break a good sweat. However, the heated classes aren't as hot as a sauna so it's easy to breathe and keep up with the movements which I like. Everyone in the studio, instructors and students alike, are so supportive and have created the most welcoming environment. This studio has created a community that goes beyond the studio walls which I enjoy. I definitely recommend yoga108 if you want a good workout or want to meet some awesome people!
Genuinely the best workout community. I'm currently a freshman in college so I can only come back during my school breaks so the weekly unlimited plan works out so perfectly for me! I mainly go to the IHP classes and can say that all of the instructors genuinely care about you and want to see you be comfortable and improve! As a newcomer, the community is so supportive and can constantly see people congratulate others after a hard workout!!

I love my RA yoga family. I’ve taken most of all the regular teachers and they’re all great and their own beautiful way! I’ve been at this studio for about two years and have tried other places, but nothing compares to the welcoming family like environment I feel at this studio. I am challenged to build mental and physical strength in every class. There’s always a class to suit my needs for how I feel that day physically and mentally. My massage with Socorro included cupping and lymphatic work. I am so glad I decided to go with that, instead of just a regular massage. My body definitely needed the extra TLC! And Socorro is simply amazing. A gifted healer. I could feel my energy shift after the session. I can't wait to return.
I'd been dealing with massive pain in my hand and arm for over a month and decided to get a deep tissue massage. I checked all over long beach and Firm Hands was the only place I felt would hit the mark and I was absolutely blown away! I was lucky enough to have Shannyn who worked her way from my shoulder down to the problem fingers. I may have told her that I might yell a bit and she was okay with me hootin, hollerin, and cussin my way through that hour! After, she showed me how much more mobility I gained in my wrist after not being able to move it much for years of sitting at a desk. I wish I could give extra stars for how clean and comfortable the building was.

I have been a Ritual Member for a few years now and I am absolutely obsessed with this place! I don't want to get a massage anywhere else (and I used to hop around a LOT to try and find a good place).
I get two 50-min massages a month and I love my deep tissue massages. I always try to book my favorite therapists, Simone & Nikki! They understand exactly where to massage my back/neck to really release those knots, without hurting me or making me feel beaten up. You can tell they understand the anatomy of the muscles and where the pain originates. I've referred so many people to The NOW and I always tell them to book either of those 2 if they want a good massage :)
Recently, I got a massage from Amber and she was also so great!! She hit all the spots I was most concerned about and still went through my whole body without it feeling rushed. I left feeling instantly better than before & I loved her deep pressure and overall massage process! Would definitely request for her again!! Honestly, I feel like you'll have an amazing massage with anyone you get because they have great people and high standards.
Also, the front desk ladies Dana, Lindsey, Laurel, Stephanie, and everyone else are always top notch & super friendly :) I truly feel like I'll be a member forever - I call this my happy place. I know I'll be taken cared of and I can just turn off my mind and relax once I walk in.
Vinnie is honestly the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. And I’ve had quite a few! He knows his anatomy incredibly well and can fix whatever aches and pains come along. Plus, he’s the kindest, loveliest guy as well, and super fun to talk to.
Once you wrap your mind around the process, you realize how groundbreaking ZGM is. Ease of booking, ease of use of the chairs outweighs waiting, in our case, weeks to get into a massage therapist. The facility here in Long Beach is conveniently located, has awesome parking options and is spotlessly clean. The experience is so new and so effective it's shocking. You really have no idea how many knots and spots you have that need attending to until the chair starts its magic, The mild stretch you get intermittently is so relaxing and efficient and this comes from massage enthusiasts! We've been 2x so far and can't wait to book our next session. For us to go at the same time, in chairs next to each other and walk out together is a HUGE win.

Absolutely the best massage therapist you will ever find. I have been going to Johneen for almost 5 years either for a general massage or for a sports injury and I always come out feeling so much better.
This massage was the best I have received in a long time! Kris makes sure that the pressure it just right and really focuses on the areas needed. She even gave me tips at the end to help with my problem areas. She is super sweet and makes you feel right at home. Thank you Kris!
Would give it 5 stars, my only problem is that there only one lady work there. So if she has a appointment with someone you have to come back. Overall love the place the lady very nice & she works hard on the massage being the only one there. She's holding it down by herself for a professional massager.
Amazing! I have friends that have been telling me for years to go see Melissa and I have finally done so. I've been once so far for the works facial and we have set up a series to get me in and looking beautiful. Melissa's equipment is top notch and she is passionate about what she does and making YOU look your best. I have gone to Heather for various issues with my body due to the hard work I do. I use and abuse my body which in turn creates some serious maintenance needs. I have gone to various places for my body maintenance throughout my life but never felt a dramatic difference until I had Heather work on me. My mobility increased tremendously and I do not have issues such as stiff neck anymore thanks to her. Every time I have had an issue she finds the problem and solves it. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the human body and will have you feeling 10 years younger if you give her the time. She always creates positive energy when she is around that is infectious I recommend this business for anyone looking to change their overall health and well being!

Excellent assessment, consistency and care. If you have personal commitment for improvement and recovery this is the place to go. Nice facility, very good equipment, excellent staff.
The technicians and the stretching, here. It's just awesome. It's a great concept and the people that work there have awesome personalities and it's a lot of fun to go there and spend time and get healthy. I recommend it to anybody who takes these things seriously, as we do.

PT@The Beach is simply the best for your physical therapy needs. Unlike other places where they set you up with a chart and send you on your way to do your PT, here you will receive one-on-one sessions each time with a trained professional. I have used them three times and have been absolutely satisfied each time. My daughter has also used them for sports injuries. Yes, you might get a student on occasion who will only observe your session. But rest assured that you will be treated by a trained physical therapist and receive the one-on-one treatment you deserve and will not get at other facilities.

I came here 2 weeks after surgery from the rarest ankle fracture in the world (trimalleolar) and I literally rolled in on a knee scooter, unable to walk and scared for my future lol
Everyone made it so easy and comfortable to get back to myself, they listen and check in with you constantly and if you can’t do something, you aren’t forced. I finished my requested 25 hours from the doctor and actually did another 25 because how much I like coming here and the progress it has given me.
I would recommend this place to anyone and even for simple things in life that you want to work on.
If you need Physical Therapy, go here! I have been to 3 Physical Therapy offices in the last year. The other two weren't bad, but I didn't feel that I was progressing as quickly as desired. A friend referred me to Body Solutions, and I am so thankful!. Julie truly has magic hands! I have a rare issue (TOS), causing severe issues in my arm, chest and shoulder and recently had surgery. I was scheduled in quickly and the staff is incredible! The owners Julie and Ish, and the entire Staff, are welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. The other patients are recovering from a myriad of surgeries and injuries. They are very busy, and all work as a team to support the patients. I have been going for 5 weeks and have major improvements. I will definitely return for future injuries.
I was referred to this place by the worker’s compensation team at my workplace due to a work related injury on my right hand. The first couple of visits were rough because I was in a lot of pain. The team that treated me was composed of very caring and dedicated individuals. Their dedication and genuine care help me recuperate.
In the beginning, I was a bit surprised with the exercises but the exercises help me with my coordination and hand strength. I would definitely use their services again. Amazing staff members.
The Long Beach location of Motion Plus Aquatic is a must for anyone needing physical therapy. The staff are great. Mike, James, Grace and Diane are all very knowledgeable, professional and empathetic. I went for both a ruptured bicep as well as a torn meniscus. I highly recommend the Long Beach location.

I had the best first experience at Urban Salt! I went in because I haven't been able to kick lingering cold/flu symptoms and Dr Diane was really kind and helpful. She put needles in my front and then after had me flip over to my back to put needles there too. She also rubbed some balm on my sore muscles. I felt pampered leaving there! She also recommended some herbs that I could use, and they had a pediatric version I got for my daughter too. Both acupuncture and herbs were a great price. I can't wait to go back.
Apex Chiropractor and staff are the most professional practice I have been too and provide a well rounded treatment plan.
I have had two amazing appointments with Dr. Jeff Millan. I've seen a lot of different chiropractors, and by far, Dr. Jeff has to be the kindest, most compassionate, and thorough chiropractor, ever. He is very easy to talk to, and he's very knowledgeable. He adjusts diff parts of your body with ease and flow. I saw him for the first time, several weeks back and he used a massager to help loosen my knots. He used different techniques that other chiropractors haven't done, before. I feel that within the 30 minutes time slot that I see him, he utilized 25 to 30 minutes of it (the total time). I love how you can ask him questions and he will clearly answer them and address your concerns. He's really easy to work with. He takes his time to stretch, adjust, and massage any knots that you might have. I've been having issues with my forearm, from tennis elbow, and he's been working on that for the last several sessions. I also get knots on different parts of my body from different breast cancer reconstructions. Just a few sessions that I've had with him, I feel so much better, already.
I love this place, I feel that this business is a one stop shop with chiropractic, stretching, massages, and acupuncture. I totally recommend Dr. Jeff MILLAN. He's such a wonderful chiropractor, and I like how he always takes the time to give you different adjustments, and treatments.
I freaking love Sandy! She is definitely the best of what she does! I am so happy that I have found her. She gave me the best stretching session, ever, last week! She knows the pressure points, and she will adjust the pressure, accordingly. With her 30 minutes stretching session, you will be getting the BEST stretching session of your life. I knew I was sore and super tight, but I didn't know how bad my body has been needing a good stretch. I will be seeing her once every two weeks for a stretching session.
I also got a massage from her today, and oh my gosh… It's the BEST massage I've ever gotten in my whole entire life! I've had plenty of massages, and Sandy just has the best hands. Again, I always appreciate people who don't need to ask you how soft or hard you like your massage. She massages you based on knots and tensions that you have. She will adjust, if she sees you struggling, flinching, or in pain. I had an amazing 30 minute massage session besides that, she's so easy to talk to. She is the realist person I've ever met. I can't recommend Sandy enough for the stretching session and massage. Thank you! My body loves your hands! Be gone, tightness, knots, and everything else wrong with my body. Sandy has the hands of gold! Her hands will heal u!
SO grateful to have found Melani. She is the first provider I’ve seen in a long line of providers who truly listens. I never feel like I have to withhold or filter because I trust her so completely. I’ve noticed several health improvements after seeing Melani for the past 9 months because she treats the whole person not just the one symptom. Worth driving an hour each week. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Having been a type one diabetic for over 45 years I have developed some complications. Neuropathy pain and with the stress of life I also developed sciatic nerve pain that nothing made better. Steroid injections, PT, massage you name it I tried it. Committing to 12 sessions was my ticket out of pain. My pain is now manageable and I committed to healing. I could not have done this alone. I would absolutely refer anyone in pain.
I was always interested in trying Acupuncture but was afraid of what I thought it was and also had this image of what I thought it looked like. Then…I met Jessica and she helped navigate all of this. I felt heard when explaining my issues she was very knowledgeable I did the feedback and education. She helped ease my fears of what the actual needle would feel like as she explained everything she was doing and constantly checked in. I have now gone to her for a little over a year and I don’t plan on going to anyone else. I’m the type of person that if I like you, you have good service, and I’m comfortable…. I’m your client for life! So basically they’re stuck with me ?

My story: I’m only 28, and my health was completely falling apart in Sept 2024. I was sick constantly, getting infections that wouldn’t go away, my mental health was awful, I wasn’t sleeping, I was foggy and not present in life. I was seen today by the exemplary Fred Batkin, M.D., for a nerve assessment test. Not only was I welcomed graciously, made comfortable and was assured every step of the way. the doctor was very informative, sharing in depth knowledge of the procedure and every step of the way, communicated clearly. Also, he showed interest in casual conversation as well, furthering an overall best experience with any medical facility. Cant say anything more than that. definitely recommend on the highest level.
Dr. Jenny Lee is a great acupuncturist! She takes her time to treat my areas of pain and concern. I always come out feeling great, with lots of energy. She is really helping me out with the fatigue issues I have due to long covid, which left me feeling depleted of energy. She also does cupping and her Moxa technique is the best. The prices are very reasonable and she makes room to accommodate my appointments due to my availability at work. I highly recommend!

Dr. Dohn is the best experience I've had with a healthcare professional! From what I've witnessed, he cares deeply about each of his patients above and beyond what duty calls for--his care extends to a personal level, and treatment is made all the better for it. I'm beyond grateful and indebted to him for all that he has done for me over the years, not only healing my chronic back pain from years of poor posture built up, but also has done a great deal in addressing my mental anguish all the same; his sentiments are not pure formality, but are asked out of a genuine care and curiosity in a person to see that they are acknowledged and understood, an effort found rare these days. This is all to say, if you're at all hesitant about chiropractic care or are found reluctant on what practice to visit locally, I recommend giving Dr. Dohn a call and scheduling an appointment, I assure you, you wont regret it! (TL;DR: My life has been effected in such a drastic manner by Dohn's method of treatment that I'm not sure where I'd be without it, from frequent flare-ups starting at my tail bone and going to the base of my neck to being the most mobile I have been in years, he truly is a live-saver!)

This is a hole in the wall place. My daughter already knew the basics to driving, and they were able to give great pointers, and train her for the behind the wheel exam. The owner was very accommodating with scheduling her behind the wheel lessons right away, since my daughters permit was about to expire. My daughter really her driving instructor. This place was the most Affordable training I found. The owner is an older Hispanic man. He was extremely nice and helpful. He gave great suggestions regarding getting an earlier appointment for behind the wheel test at the DMV.
