I have been a client of Cynthia's for over ten years here in San Pedro, and I continued to receive her services when she opened her own barbershop. Her establishment is consistently clean and well-maintained. While there have occasionally been some scheduling challenges, overall, my experience has been positive.
This place is great. My son needed a haircut before our trip and we walked in and were taken next after he finished up with the person before us. We went first thing Monday morning. There was only 1 barber there at the time (normal for a Monday morning) and he was very sweet and gave my son the haircut he asked for. And was a great price. Loved this chair (in pic). They have 9 barber chairs and 16 seats to wait in. I bet this place is hopping during the busy time.

I've been following The Nail Tailor for at least 2years, i couldn't coordinate an appt due to my work schedule.. & i was hesitant about the parking. i finally made an appointment this past Friday 12-15..I was THOROUGHLY impressed. The atmosphere was a VIBE pure relaxation, clean, smelled great, peaceful, music great, & not a typical nail shop with lots of clients . Jules did a FANTASTIC job on my Gel ex fill & pedicure. She took care of my cuticles, which you don't experience in most nail shops these days. This wasn't a nail shop, it's more of a NAIL experience. So glad i finally got in.. i will be back, hopefully making this my Nail home.. Great job Winn

I was very pleased with LaChanda in Suite 125. She did an impressive job on my strait thin hair. She cut it exactly as I asked and she wouldn't quite until I was completely happy with it. It was a relaxing, private and pleasant experience as well at a very competitive price. I know she specializes in locs and color but she seems to be very good and has lots of experience styling strait thin hair as well. She is a keeper. Amazing Experience! Went in with my daughters for my youngest Quinceanera party hair and makeup. The ladies got to work right away and were amazing. Make up was beautiful and Hollywood waves styling was a work of art. The team was able to get a difficult hair styling just right on three very different hair lengths and hair types. Plenty of metered parking in the back. Thank you for making my daughters event a special one.

I've commissioned him to do several extremely sentimental pieces for me, and have always been delighted with his work. These are not just tattoos, they're telling bits of my life story, and Cisco captures the very essence of these experiences in a way words alone cannot describe. We're almost halfway done with my full sleeve, and I cannot wait to see the end result! The work he's done so far has exceeded my expectations, and left me wanting more! Cezar is the most professional and dedicated plumbing expert I’ve ever met!
Last week, my tenant suddenly contacted me saying that the toilet and the entire house's drainage system were completely backed up. In that emergency, I remembered Cezar, whom I had casually met at Home Depot before. At the time, his patient and attentive attitude in answering my questions left a very deep impression on me, so I immediately passed his contact information to my tenant.
Cezar didn’t delay for a second and rushed to the property right away. However, the actual situation turned out to be much more complicated than we expected—the connection pipe leading to the city main line was broken. Ultimately, they had to dig down a whopping 8 feet to replace the water pipes. Since the ground was already excavated, Cezar used his expertise to suggest doing a thorough pipe repair while it was open, which would resolve the issue once and for all and prevent the same problem from recurring in the future.
The entire project took three days. What touched me even more was his attention to detail and thoughtfulness: he proactively dug an extra cleanout in the front yard. He explained that if the drains ever need clearing again, the plumbers can operate directly from the yard without having to go through the entire house, which maximizes protection for the indoor environment and the tenant's privacy.

Baldwin mortise lock doorknobs were loose (fell off), making the door unusable. I scheduled a home visit yesterday for this afternoon. Eddie, the locksmith, who had told me parts might need to be ordered. arrived on time, fixed the problem (no parts needed), and adjusted (had to remove the doorknobs temporarily to do the job) of an interior door He was competant, courteous, and charged what he had quoted on the phone. $85 for the service visit and $35 per door...and gave me a 10% senior discount. Honest tradesman; fantastic!

Schneider construction, particularly Dan, spent a lot of time with us going over all of the issues we did not understand and the repairs that they felt were necessary. The crew has worked every day on the job since they started. I feel like they worked with me to do the job within our budget. I highly recommend this company!

We have used Matt for both our dogs. Both dogs were special needs dogs and were scared of grooming until they met Matt. Our first, a little Westie mix, had oral cancer and Matt handled him with TLC, by making him clean, soft and comfortable. Matt was the only groomer ever who Melo wagged his tail for.Our new dog is a poo-chi mix, a street rescue from Mexico. She is afraid of all strangers, but from the first time she met Matt, she would nestle in his arms relaxed and contented. Brie has a wire coat and Matt taught us how to care for it. Her haircuts look great and she emerges from her spa experience soft and smelling clean and fresh!

Overall great experience! Went in for a 60 minute massage and walked out feeling so relaxed. Echo was very friendly and knowledgeable on how to improve my overall posture to reduce the neck and back aches I’ve been experiencing.
Adriana at Vamp Bodytherapy is absolutely amazing. She has been doing lymphatic massages for my girlfriend, and the results have been incredible. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and professional, but she also makes you feel completely comfortable from the moment you walk in.

Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable Acupuncturist. She knows exactly where to poke you to get the results. Her distal needle technique may confuse you a bit because she’ll poke you in a place where you’re least expecting, but just trust the process and lease it up to her expertise. She knows a lot about nutrition To help your symptoms as well.
I had two visits the second visit the Doctor used suction cups along with acupuncture and electric tens therapy after heat therapy and then stretch techniques which relieved me from lower back pain that has been chronic pain I was able to walk out the office and back home about three blocks without pain I can't wait to go again
Do not let the lack of reviews fool you — this man has changed thousands of people’s lives in San Pedro & beyond in the 50+ YEARS he’s been doing this — and is one of the OG acupuncturists around here.
I have been to multiple other acupuncturists with 100’s of reviews around here who follow the same conventional styles and it doesn’t even remotely feel the same. Dr. Ko is very humble and doesn’t ask anyone to leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write this about him. Please do yourself a favor and at LEAST give him a *try* before you commit to someone else, you will feel the difference immediately.
Thank you Dr Ko for completely transforming my mental health in a matter of months and wiping out my father’s chronic back pain.
