The owner Justin did a back piece for me throughout the last few years. We finished up last year but I’ll be back soon for one more touch up session.
I knew Justin back in Chicago, which is where he actually started this piece while he was back guest spotting. I was so glad I was able to make it to Long Beach to finally check out his beautiful shop. Everyone I met from the staff was wonderful, all incredible artists that I would love to get tattooed by one day.
If you’re going to be in the Long Beach area definitely try to set up an appointment at what quickly became one of my favorite tattoo parlors I’ve stepped foot in.
I follow Jade Q. on Instagram...the artist I chose, the other artists present, as well as the vibe of the space, were ALL great and comfortable. All elements together put me at ease. I loved my experience at Breakwater and I say aye to all the great reviews posted prior to mine. I am ultimately grateful and will be back!
The shop is very clean and well maintained! I had a full day session with Jade and she did an amazing job!! I always feel safe and taken care of by my artist..and the others as well! Everyone is extremely nice. I would recommend this shop to everyone, it’s worth the 1.5+ hour drive ?
Cleanliness: When the artists weren’t tattooing they were cleaning their station or the general area around them.
Stylist: Jade - she listens to what your wants are and does an amazing job making your thoughts come to life. She works fast but is extremely detailed and has clean lines
