The staff are friendly and the lockers room are okay, only bother is there could be some homeless or weirdos but that’s on a rare occasion. I do have one complaint and that’s some of the machines they are broken and take a while to be fixed. The ones I can name top of my head are the two leg curl machines and the two stair master. Hopefully they get fixed in the remodeling process.“

4403 Torrance Blvd, Torrance“During the pandemic, I was looking for a fun activity that would be good for my health. I was drawn to Pamana Kali because they had online classes and they take a well-rounded approach that includes practical application, art, and culture.
Guro Alvin, the founder, is a patient teacher that emphasizes practical application. He focuses on fine tuning simple techniques that work in live scenarios. He also structures his lesson plan in a way that facilitates neuroplasticity by constantly introducing new motor patterns during the exercises. This makes class a challenge after a long work day, but it's good for the ol' noggin!
Kuya Eli is the instructor at the Long Beach location housed within Kubo LB on Atlantic Ave. The classes are small, which leads to lots of helpful individual attention. We mix it up and practice kali, silat, illustrisimo, and more. Kuya Eli is on the younger side and teaches with enthusiasm and humor, making the learning environment playful as well as challenging.

From the moment you walk it, the atmosphere drives you feel motivated. Great staff and the music's nice. I personally trained with one of their trainers named Caleb Bailey. He knows a lot about nutrition and how to target muscle groups. He even made a nutrition plan for my desired goal. I'm finally starting to see results! He not only makes you feel welcomed but, he never makes you feel bad about yourself. He's that gym bro that you want training with you. There's also plenty of clean equipment not just for weightlifting but for combat sports as well. This gym has a lot of protein snacks and drinks. Overall, I love this gym and will continue training here with Caleb.“

Inspire was only the second class I tried, and after that first workout I canceled ClassPass and signed up here instead. One class was all it took to know this was where I wanted to train.
Everything about this place stands out. The space is welcoming, the coaches are attentive and encouraging, and the admin team makes everything easy. The atmosphere is truly judgment free. You get the focus of working at your own pace while still having the motivation and support of a group class, which is the perfect balance for me.
The accountability program has also been a big help, and seeing real progress after just one month has been incredibly motivating. Getting real time feedback and form corrections from the coaches has made a huge difference in my confidence and results. I also really appreciate that they offer a weekly membership option, which makes it easy to stay flexible when schedules change.
