“I have been looking for a great optometry clinic in the Menlo Park - Atherton-Palo Alto area for a long time. I am so glad that I found Woodside Optometry. Dr. Liat Solomovici is warm, thorough and knowledgeable. The staffs are also very friendly. I took my son in for an eye exam, and ended up going back myself for an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. The frames they carry are nice and very reasonable priced. Highly recommend!“
“First off, I'd like to say I've never had such wonderful, personalized service for my optical needs. Jeff and Rod are both amazing opticians who deliver white glove service when it came to getting a pair of classes that suited my needs, style, and face frame. When it came to selecting a pair of glasses I was looking for something that was bold, elegant, professional, but could also be used for driving/in the sun. It seemed like I was pursing four types of glasses, but they truly helped me narrow it down to one pair. I ended up getting a pair of designer sunglasses and they were able to order a pair of transition lenses and put them in. The turnaround time was about one week which was great! Store wise, Peninsula Optical is a bright, modern and very clean optical shop. They have a great selection of Cartier and Maui Jim. While I was in picking up my glasses, the Maui Jim representative came in to personally give them the newest styles, so they definitely have the latest and greatest. They also carry their own brand as well. For anyone coming here, do be prepared for street parking as the shop is located on University Ave. Lastly, if you need prescription glasses, make sure to bring your prescription as there is no optometrist.“

The glasses I selected are so light that I hardly even know I'm wearing them. The fitting was meticulous. I will come back here rather than the large chain optical shops. Menlo Optical really knows what they are doing, and glasses are too expensive to be unhappy with the final product.“

I have a very challenging issue due to a botched surgery many years ago, and she immediately understood all the complexities and how best to address them. She takes great care in her work and allows plenty of time. She also communicates with my ophthalmologists as needed, for example a cataract surgeon, to make sure they share my information and treatment details. I also have to commend Lillian who's helped with frames and lenses. Super professional and convivial, she's picked out some really amazing styles that people often complement, and she's so helpful (everyone there is, really) when it comes to dealing with any issues with quality or having lenses sent back to the lab etc. Finally, it's really easy location to visit with ample free parking right out front.“
