She not only specializes in brows but lash lifts which are super convenient for someone who doesn’t always have time to get ready in the morning. Put on a coat of mascara and you look like you just put on falsies.
If you follow her on IG and watch her stories, It’s amazing to watch her transform someone who had no brows and give them a brow shape using the nano technique. It really looks like they have hair but it’s a tattoo.

Akari has a profound gift that is a master blend of intuition and deep studied practice and wisdom. I cannot reccomemd enough although it is so good I almost want to keep it secret to myself so that she does not Mr get too full. Seriously though she is a master of her craft.

I’ve been to Enjonae twice now and each time I’ve enjoyed it. First time was a gift to myself for finishing my first year of law school and the second to start off 2026 half way law school. Law school is stressful and you sit a lot so it felt so nice to have some of that kneaded away during the massage. The first time I got the 90 minute massage with hot stones and I fell asleep because it was so relaxing and comfortable. The second time I got the 60 minute massage no hot stone and it was still great but I will be booking the 90 minutes from now on. Time goes by so quick! She’s super kind, respectful, and customizes the pressure to your needs and comfort ability. I don’t have any complaints and will return for monthly massages as my form of self care from now on. If you’re in the Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley area I highly recommend you check her out. Her hands are blessed!

I've been going to Tina for my waxes, and she is absolutely amazing! She's so gentle, quick, and professional, which makes the whole experience so much easier and more comfortable. What I really appreciate is how much she genuinely cares for your skin and sensitivities--she always takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and that your skin is well cared for during and after the service. The location is super convenient, and parking has never been an issue, which makes scheduling appointments stress-free. I highly recommend Tina if you're looking for someone who combines skill with true care and professionalism!

Melanie has been doing my hair for years. She knows what I want more than I do. She is excellent with curly hair and I have referred many a happy customer to her. My 16 year old daughter is even happy with the results of her haircuts and that says a lot for a 16 yo!
Got a great haircut from Lauren. I got the dry cut for curly hair and she cut and styled it great. I requested that it be cut in a way that looks good as it grows longer. It’s been a few months now and it still looks good!

Just came back for my second cut - great quality haircut with welcoming energy, and all for a decent price (mine was $40). They’re easy to schedule with, open Mondays, and check in with you throughout the cut to make sure it’s what you want. Highly recommend!

I love this place, it's a classic barbershop with the decor, client-barber relationships, and atmosphere. They'll even offer you a beverage while you wait sometimes, it feels like being a regular once you've been a few times.

Martha Muga did a fine job on my friend Judith's hair!! She hadn't had a haircut in a long time, is elderly, a bit forgetful and no longer drives. So, I searched on Yelp for a nearby beauty shop with a good rating and we ended up at Shed. It was great. Thank you, Martha! We will be back for sure

Ken is wonderful person and excellent at his job. He first started wroking for me when I bought my 1926 home in 1998. It needed absoultely EVERYTHING. He put in a new water line from the street, bolted and sheer walled and reinforced a major beam to earthquake-proof it, all new electrical and copper plumbing, beautifully finished a large part of the home that only had a cement floor and sink with no interior walls, completely remodeled one bathroom, rebuilt an entire side of my home due to undetected termite rot, hooked up all my appliances and more. What I paid is irrelevent because it was so long ago.
What is relevant is that Ken is a magician. Every time you are upset about something not going right (because that will always happen with any big job), he will come into the situation and figure out a solution that makes everyone happy (including a highly problematic architect). I'm totally serious about this. This skill alone is worth everything. His crews' craftsmanship is excellent. He finishes work within the time estimates. This is how good of a contractor Ken is: He has been working in the East Bay since the late 1970s and since the 1980s he has been living in the same home in North Berkeley to the present. You will always be able to contact him. He will always get back to you right away.
In terms of cost, I think he is right in the middle--not expensive and not inexpensive for contractors in the Bay Area.
Ken has helped me with many small problems that have arisen over the decades (painting my house, leaking roof; leaking at bathroom window; flooding occurring at my exterior bedroom door; etc.), and he always comes by to give me his time and advice and to hook me up with reliable people who can help me at the lowest cost.
I just can't say enough about how wonderful Ken is to work with.
They did a great job on my balcony deck! I watch sunsets from it several nights a week. The cable rails really help me take in the view.

After my first craniosacral session, a deep and tight knot in my back left shoulder area that had been there for over 6 years was gone and hasn’t returned. One of the first words I used to describe how I felt was “fluid” in my chest, neck, and upper back areas which is really accurate to how her sessions seemed to release/move energy around in my body. It has been so much easier and interesting seeing my body respond to Amanda’s work than getting numerous massages, chiropractic sessions, and taking classes to alleviate the same issues. I’m so glad I decided to continue seeing Amanda in her 6-session program and beyond because the work she’s done has been really incredible. Her remote sessions have been just as effective as in person. I wouldn’t hesitate for anyone to see Amanda even if you aren’t experiencing pain but seek overall better health and well-being. I’m open if anyone wants to reach out with questions about my experience.
My experience here has been great so far (6 months in!). The instructors are very down to earth, knowledgeable, entertaining and overall good at what they do. Every instructors characteristics and teaching style compliments the experience so well. My advice to anyone thinking about signing up is too just go for it! And when you're there, keep showing up for yourself. Ask questions wherever you may lose your footing. Speak up! For yourself. This school will set you up for success. It won't be easy. It will be fun. Just do it
