His team is lovely; they provide a pleasant environment and patient-friendly service with frequent appointment reminders via text. Dr. Haynes is just as warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed chatting with him. The office is conveniently located in the heart of Emeryville with easy parking. I just referred my husband so we are now both going to be longtime patients of Dr. Haynes.“

“A really wonderful dentist. I drive all the way to Berkeley from Sacramento to see them. I have a rare medical condition that has specific implications for dental health. They've been accommodating and proactive -- doing research where necessary to make sure that I'm getting the best care possible. I've also never had an attempt to upsell cosmetic work here; no discussion of whitening or veneers, both of which I had every dentist mention every single visit the whole time I lived in Los Angeles. Do I have to bill back to insurance? Yes. Have I ever had a problem with that? No. Ultimately, billing back to insurance (as others have mentioned in their reviews) is a very small tradeoff for me when compared with having a dental team that I trust.“

“I was able to get same day appointment for an emergency root canal issue with this practice. I called in at 7:15 AM & customer service took my details & Angela from office calked me at 8:30 AM & got me in for 11:30 AM appointment.
Dr Nabipour and associate Monica made the root canal procedure painless. First of all I was dreading the needle, but the local anesthetic made it painless with the needle. Dr Nabipour identified two teeth that were compromised causing the intense pain, he said he will treat one in this sitting and if pain continues I may have come back in Monday. But at the end of the procedure he was able to successfully treat the root canal issue. He underpromised and over delivered.

After years of guidance, most of my problems -- gums and back teeth -- have cleared up. They are excellent at tracking challenges from visit to visit, so they are very familiar with the terrain. At 72 years of age, I have many years of experience with dental offices and dentists.

This provider stands out for several reasons so I want to let others to know the reason I am recommending them.
1. They serve both HMO and PPO Delta Dental patients!

Many dentists will not accept HMO MEDICARE which often serves folks unable to pay higher premiums, because the HMO plan reimburses dentists at a lower rate. Unfortunately, the ones that do, in my experience, often pad their bills by adding procedures not coveted by insurance. These costs are passed onto patients as out of pocket costs. The providers often refused service unless I was willing to pay!
2. Cali care dentists offer the most current dental care practices which Delta refuses to cover. Fortunately, CALI Care will let you know which costs are not covered by insurance before they initiate the care.
3. The front desk is very knowledgeable and responds quickly via phone.
4. Their hygienists and dentists provide the most thorough deep cleaning!
6. You feel welcomed as soon as you enter the office; and feel you are amongst friends!

Every other DELTA HMO provider I DELTA’s Medicare HMO program (tried4) referred me to, with one exception, employed very deceptive practices designed to earn money for procedures not covered by the HMO Medicare plan. CALI-Care is different; they are honest brokers whose owners are onsite and seem to have their patient’s best interests as their primary goal. Kudos to them!”“
