very happy to be a member at spf! my girlfriend and i joined this gym about a year ago when we moved to south pas. over the last 8 years, i’ve been a member at la fitness, equinox, and then fitness 19 (not at the same time, of course) and i can easily say that i’m happiest at south pas fitness. the gym is always clean, weights are organized and kept in the proper location, and equipment is well maintained (or brand new!). the gym is spacious and separated into a few different spaces, so it never feels packed, even at its busiest times. in general, the gym is quiet (no dropping weights!) and other members are respectful and kind. parking is plentiful (even at the busiest...read full review

South Pas Fitness is a great neighborhood gym! Sometimes LA can feel huge and overwhelming. This is a gym where you will see the same people and the staff and instructors will know you and chat with you and it makes you want to come back and work out! There are a lot of different classes and it is well maintained with new equipment. There's also a comfortable lounge and wifi and a coffee bar! The only reason my review is 4 stars and not 5 is that they don't have a pool and they only have a single use sauna which is very popular and hard to get into, so I wish they had more. Also they need fresh stretch mats (I usually bring my own). But it offers an intangible community...read full review
