“I went to Target optical to get new glasses. I worked with Jonah who was wonderful. When I first got there he asked if I needed help. I said no I was just browsing, he said to let him know if I needed help. I liked that he didn't hover. When I was ready he was very helpful. He had great knowledge about the products and great advice. I wasn't prepared with my insurance information, and he was incredibly patient as I texted my husband for information about our insurance plan. Jonah said that he wanted to make sure we got the coverage we had in our plan. I highly recommend working with him!“

“Dr. Khela is one of the best optometrists I've seen! I had LASIK a decade+ ago and started needing contacts a couple years ago (a combo of minor scar tissue, astigmatism, but nothing serious enough to warrant a touch up). However, I struggled for over a year because the contacts still left my vision a little blurry when doing computer work, weren't comfortable for long periods, etc. I'd tried out multiple prescriptions and brands and was burnt out, but I needed to renew my prescription and had just moved so I figure I'd give Dr. Khela a try, expecting nothing would really change in my contact discomfort. I could not have been more wrong - she is a phenomenal clinician / wizard. She explained exactly where my discomfort was coming from (astigmatism!), got me in more comfortable contacts, explained why having one contact for astigmatism and one normal might help, and masterfully explained why computer work was giving me a headache and had a great fix. Her experience working with hundreds of patients doing deep squinty computer work really makes her an expert on modern eye fatigue and her solutions are creative and adaptive. I didn't know it was possible to be this wowed by your eye doctor but eye comfort is so underrated and I am grateful to have found the best doctor!“

“Amazing staff! I was looking for a new optometrist and was glad to find one walking distance from my home. I bought my own frame to be made and was surprised to see the large section they had and end up getting sunglasses made. Felipe made my experience comfortable very knowledgeable in the VSP insurance and broke it down for me that was easy to understand. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend if looking for a new Optometry office this is the one you won't be disappointed. 5 starts all around.“

“I drive from up North to Lafayette every year just for my exam! Dr. Zheng really knows how to dial in a prescription for unique needs! For my first pair of glasses I required progressive lenses with each eye needing slightly different correction. I have an astigmatism as well. Prior to going to Dr. Zheng I went to two "specialists" and ended up spending over a thousand dollars on specialty glasses. Unfortunately I was still having issues with dynamic and fast movement, delays to focus at different distances and quick changes. Tracking moving objects were just a blur. He explained it would probably take a few prescriptions, one each year ti really dial it in. My first pair of glasses was already SO much better than either of the two from the previous optometrists. The 2nd year it was even better, I thought it was about as good as it gets and I was totally happy, but I was wrong the 3rd year he said things were stabilizing and a slight change would really help me focus faster. When I got my new glasses he was right again!! Moving objects, fast changes in depth perception and ability to focus back and forth from near to far was much improved!! Well worth my 3-4 hour drive every year!“

“Dr. Burton is amazing! Who knew that a routine eye examination would turn out to be a welcoming surprise and the answer I was looking for as far as the lingering problems that I was having in my sinus area. I had a bad cold a month before and even though I got better, I ended up with a sinus infection. Although my general doctor and ENT did give me a partial solution for that issue, I was still having some lingering pain and pressure in the sinus area that was not going away. Dr. Burton saw that the upper left side of my nose was swollen and told me that my tear duct was inflammed. She prescribed me some eye drops and I got better in about three days! Now I wonder why those other doctors did not see that my upper nose was swollen and did the steps that Dr. Burton did. She knows what she is doing.“

“I came to see Dr. Orr with complicated and difficult vision issues. He was incredibly patient and worked with me for many months to try to get the best correction possible. He also recommended that I consider a surgical treatment which turned out to be highly successful and was life changing. I am so grateful to have found him and this practice.“

“Dr. Chan is excellent. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 has to do with the front staff. I was told that my insurance would cover part of the cost for a pair of sunglasses and I was quoted a price. The staff member then encouraged me to wait until my annual appointment to purchase them (so my benefit could be applied). However, when I got done with the appointment one month later and was ready to purchase the glasses, another staff member said I had to pay full price. When I explained this to the staff member who had originally quoted me the price (she had even encouraged me to put the glasses on hold), she said she "did not remember" ever quoting me the discounted price. I should have asked for the quote in writing. I will be doing this from now on and I would definitely advise others to do the same. I would hope that the front staff is more clear in the future. Furthermore, I would hope that they don't "forget" details promised.“

“In a word, "FANTASTIC!" Upon entering this office for the first time, the courteous and friendly staff greeted me as if I had been a patient for many years. When I provided the eyeglasses that I was wearing to the Office Manager ("Jennifer")--not only did she clean them--but she also repaired the broken earpiece that I had been told by my previous optometrist was "irreparable." Then a comprehensive eye examination was performed by several members of the office staff--including a digital scan of my eyes that allows a chronological database of eye health to be maintained over time. The final part of the exam was performed by Dr. Ruzicka himself--whose vast knowledge and experience in eye healthcare became apparent throughout the exam. Despite my numerous questions throughout the eye exam, Dr. Ruzicka patiently and candidly answered all the questions that I posed to him. After the exam, I met with another staff member who fitted me for eyeglasses--and the entire visit concluded with how it started--with "Jennifer" completing the eyeglass adjustment and completing the financial aspects of the office visit. In summary--Dr. Ruzicka's practice is a model for how all medical practices should operate--with professionalism and the utmost attention and care being provided to all clients who walk through the door to Dr. Ruzicka's office. (Aside: When I returned for another visit to pick-up my new eyeglasses--which were perfect(!)--"Jennifer" graciously fixed yet another broken pair I had at home!) Kudos and a heartfelt "thank you" to Dr. Ruzicka, Jennifer, and all other staff members who provided such an outstanding level of care and service to me during my visits to their office. I look forward to being a patient for many years to come! Thank you...THANK you...THANK YOU!“
