First off, I called in and was given a prompt appointment within 24 hours of contact! I went in and told Michael that I wanted a 20’s bob… I didn’t specify that I did not want a Dutch bob at the time of appointment . After getting a Dutch bob, and trying it on for a day, I decided that I didn’t like it at all. I contacted Michael and explained I hadn’t communicated well enough; he got me in at my convenience and made my hair look fabulous (in my humble opinion)! Definitely an awkward situation turned great due to his professional attitude and him being beyond understanding! Would most certainly recommend to friends and family.Services: Haircut

Jermere tuned me up well. He made sure I came out of there as fresh, symmetrical and fly as possible. He asked me questions that, tbh no one had ever asked me and made it exactly the way I didn't even know I wanted it. Very talented, diligent, knowledgeable, and considerate of who's hair he's cutting. Man has integrity, and when I thought I was done and he was cleaning me up he noticed 2 things and stopped me and fine-tuned them to perfection. I highly recommend him. 10 stars

Kris is my stylist and is just terrific!! He has done both cuts and color for me and always gets it absolutely right every time! His suggestions have always been on point and complement what I am looking for in a cut or color. He listens to what I say and takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. Kris is very friendly and professional and really does a great, great job! The shop always looks neat and the stylist's stations are sectioned off to give you your stylist's full attention. Parking lots are available nearby as is metered parking on the street around the shop.

Paul is an extremely talented artist, and his passion for his craft shows. He takes it seriously, and he was very clean with everything he did. There wasn't a single time that I thought, "Oh god, this is gonna get me sick," because he follows the rules to the letter. This isn't your dingus of a cousin tattooing at your table. This is quality work. His line work is great, and I love his color work. He used the Derm on my tattoo and I've never had a tattoo heal so well. I am usually worried about infection, but no issues whatsoever His shop has a pretty cool aesthetic too, like a saloon or hunting lodge turned into a tattoo parlor. All in all, great experience and well worth the money and trip to Marmet. Also, I think it says a lot when any negative reviews are not about cleanliness or skill, just a disagreement of opinion. That speaks volumes. 10/10

OMG! I am not sure how to put into words. I mean, I am not really big on people touching me, but this experience was phenomenal. I am a breast cancer survivor and lymphatic nerves cause me some issues. So I just started do these massages, but Martha laid hands on me! Afterwards I was so energetic...I had to stop and think did I have a red bull. It was like I had powered up. She suggested I come every two weeks, but man after that I'm thinking as soon as I feel tired.The massage itself was not as intimidating as I thought. Martha did my intake and asked if i had in swelling. She hit all my problem areas. Afterwards my skin was on point.I can't wait to go back!!
I had severe frozen shoulder syndrome that required manipulation surgery. I was going to PT, but my shoulders were very tight and knotted up and certain range of motions were not getting any better. My first appointment, Marissa worked on my shoulders and scapula. I was able to tell a huge difference after my first appointment. My surgeon was concerned that I may have to have a second manipulation done since my range of motion to the side and behind my back was not getting any better. My second appointment, Marissa worked on my arm and all the tightness that was I was experiencing. Once she was done, I got dressed and was moving my arm around. I literally almost cried because I was able to move my arm so much better. I was able to reach partially behind my back (which I have not been able to do for almost a a year), and I was able to move my arm off to the side! She’s a miracle worker!!! I know with my next appointment, it will get even better! I’m so thankful for her!!

This is now Nalu's Salon; Nalu recently took over the business. He gave me the perfect cut and style for my hair! He was really knowledgeable and I didn't feel rushed at all. I've always been greeted by owner and stylists with a genuine smile, and always made to feel great! I would not waste my time anywhere else! I remember when owner bought and renovated that building I'm guessing 20 years ago, and I'm sure she was scared to death but I have to say what a magnificent job she did and a very successful one at that! I don't know anyone that started from scratch as she did, and the hard work that I'm sure went along with it. I don't get to visit as often as I would like, but when I do, I walk out of there that I was cared about, and made sure that I was happy, and as I said how I was greeted with a genuine smile, a beautiful personality to go along with it from her and her stylists thank you for being there!
Curly hair must for the Charleston, WV area! Larry is incredibly knowledgeable about curly hair and does continuing Ed so he stays up to date as things change. His appointments are long and the service is considerably more expensive than an average cut/wash/style, but worth it periodically for great curls.

I attend Bonnie’s sessions and Ronnie’s sessions. Both are excellent instructors! I started out knowing very little about yoga, which can be very intimidating. I stuck it out, and now I get upset if I have to miss. Both have been welcoming, as well as the regulars who attend. It’s a great way to clear your mind while at the same time feeling amazing physically. Overall, superb experience!

I called Dodrill because my AC was starting to have issues and it was 23 years old anyway, my wife and I decided it needed replaced. Dodrill sent a sales rep the next day. When Scott arrived he was very professional and was very honest about pricing. For the price I paid and the warranty being probably one of the best I've ever heard of, I decided real quick that Dodrill is the company for us. They returned to my home the next day with a all new system. The two guys had the old one out and the new one in within a few hours. Everything looks awesome, and is cooling our home much faster and way more efficient than the old one. I and my family are very happy with it so far! I had gone through 2 whole house fumigation in 8 months. I moved immediately after second fumigation and still had bugs. I had bought new furniture twice in 9 months. I used a different local exterminator for fumigation. I called standard up and Alan sprayed my house twice and it’s been a week since last spray and NO BUGS!!! Dr. Andy and Lea who cleaned my teeth were both great. Everything from the phone call to make the appt to the check in and the cleaning was great. I seriously can’t recommend Burgess Dental enough. I suffer from extreme anxiety, and before becoming a patient there I had a lot of fear about the dentist stemming from childhood experiences where my pain was ignored. The folks at Burgess are extremely understanding and accommodating — everyone from the front desk to the dentists.Maddie, in particular, is a wonderful dentist. She really listens to me to make sure that I’m fully numb before starting her work, and she encourages me to stop her if I feel *anything.* I became a patient there at 25, after having not gone to the dentist since childhood. Even though I know my teeth weren’t in great shape, Maddie and the other staffers didn’t make me feel bad about it — they encouraged me and told me that they can definitely help get my mouth back on track. There was none of the doom and gloom that I had expected.No joke, I genuinely look forward to going to Burgess, whether just for a teeth cleaning or even a filling. Great music, good vibes, kind staff. Seriously, go to Burgess Dental.

I've been taking my pets to Good Shepherd for over a decade and I've recommended them to everyone I know. It's not convenient at all, but it's worth the drive to see vets that I can trust to care for my dogs as if they were their own — and not break the bank while doing so. Dr. Stephenson and Dr. Blanton have been wonderful with all of our pets needs!
My puppy was hospitalized last weekend due to hypoglycemia and a couple other issues. It was Saturday and our regular vet was booked up and couldn't see us. Ever was having seizures and was basically unresponsive when we finished the hour and a half drive. The staff was quick to get her seen and treated promptly. They could tell it was a life threatening emergency and got her back immediately while I signed in and filled out paperwork. They were very kind and compassionate in explaining everything to me. They were great about letting me call and check on her and were very caring and patient. Dr. Tackett was our doctor and she kept me updated on Ever's status and treatment plan. She got to come home the next day and has been doing amazing since. THANK YOU Kanawha Valley Veterinary Emergency for saving my little girl. Pictures are after we picked her up and she was completely back to normal.

Just finished my first micro needling treatment with Robin using her new VYBE RF micro needling machine.Wow! It was painless (thanks to numbing cream). Once the cream takes effect then Robin goes to work and the time goes by quickly, as she is continually asking you how it feels and can adjust the machine accordingly. We took before and after pictures and no redness was visible. I can’t wait to see my long term results. Thanks again Robin, you’re the best around?
