We used Patriot Tree Experts to take down a very large maple in our South Hills backyard (Charleston), and I can’t say enough good things. I loved that tree — it was a beautiful part of our yard — but it started dying and rotting from the inside and became a serious hazard with how close it was to our house. It genuinely broke my heart to remove it. Rick came out, walked the yard with us, explained the plan clearly, and you could tell he’s knowledgeable and has real respect for trees. The crew showed up on time in November, worked efficiently while I was at work, and even paid attention to our dog when my kids needed to let him out. They finished in two days, stacked some of the wood for us, and hauled the rest away. The price was also very good — lower than other quotes I’d gotten. They made a tough process easy, and I’d hire them again without hesitation.
