On Sunday, January 14, our sweet Lab mix, Gunner, just stopped eating, drinking, and was having breathing problems. He had Lymphoma that we were treating with steroids. By the afternoon, we made the decision to end his suffering by taking him to Kanawha Valley Emergency Vet. Everyone was as nice as they could have been, they got Gunner in, and let us hold him as his life ended. They made an awful situation bearable, and were as patient, kind, & companionate as if we were old friends. We cannot thank you enough.

My sincerest, most heartfelt thanks to Dr. Dean and staff! We had a newly rescued 9 y/o Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with grade 5 heart disease who needed emergency abdominal surgery. The odds were stacked against him due to general, overall poor health. Thanks to their skill, experience, and outstanding care, he was given a second chance for a good life. 30 days out, he is happy, healthy, and full of life! Thank you for being so kind, caring, and compassionate!
