“I love strength training with Annie! She's friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and best of all, non-judgmental. I was nervous about getting started because I hadn't done weight training before, but she broke it down in a way that was easy to understand, and inspired me to challenge myself in a safe way. The environment in her group classes is friendly and supportive. I highly recommend training with her!“

Studio Evolve Trainers

“I started at Studio Evolve this year with private lessons with Erin and Elli and I am now going into regular classes. I loved the private lessons as both of them met me where I was and helped me be more connected with my core and breath. Already, the work has helped me outside the studio in my running and strength training, with faster run times and ability to lift more with minimal soreness.
It was an easy transition to classes and all the instructors have been incredible in modifying workouts for your level. The small class sizes are a bonus too because you get so much personal attention that it feels like you’re in a private lesson anyway. You also feel very comfortable regardless of skill level because everyone, including fellow classmates, are so supportive and encouraging. Definitely recommend Studio Evolve to anyone who wants to add to their workout routines, recover after injury or just wants to be more connected with their body.“

“I got tired of starting workouts and quitting after a week so I decided to try a personal trainer. Best choice I made all year. Found one nearby who offered a free first session. She was super nice and actually listened to my goals instead of just throwing random stuff at me. She showed me how to do each move right and explained why we were doing them. I didn’t feel judged at all even though I was out of shape. We did some strength work and cardio and I was sore but in a good way. She also helped me set some simple nutrition goals without making it complicated. The only thing that was rough was waking up early to do the sessions but I got used to it fast. I already feel stronger and more confident. If you keep quitting on yourself get a trainer like this. It changes everything.“

If you're looking to drop in, with good coaching, a clean facility and a workout, I recommend PUSH Box CF.“

Strength Lab Training Trainers

“Adnan, who owns Strength Lab, is a fantastic strength/powerlifting trainer. Under his guidance, I've hit several PRs across major compound exercises, learned to squat properly, and lost 30 lb of weight (mostly body fat). For the first time in my adult life, I'm no longer in the overweight BMI. Adnan is consistent, welcoming and very organized (for eg. he sends calendar invites on Sunday for training sessions during the week). Furthermore, he's also inspiring in that he's quite strong, yet lean since he eats healthy and maintains an active lifestyle , including through endurance sports. Lastly, I feel like I enjoy powerlifting more than HIIT and other types of training; because powerlifting is lower reps, higher weights, I feel less exhausted at the end of each class, and follow up with some cardio. I would definitely recommend Adnan and Strength Training Lab for personal training!“

I’ve been going to him for many years and always feel so much better after his massages, and more aware about the tension in my body and exercises I could do to help. His combination of deep knowledge of muscles and the body from a physical trainer perspective, along with his very intuitive sense of healing is so worth experiencing. He is kind and thoughtful too. “I'm in my 40s and mother of two young children, with a very limited bandwidth for exercise, but Michele has managed to keep me engaged and challenged incrementally in a way that makes me feel comfortable but very motivated to push further. I've been working with Michele for the last two years and she has helped me build a tailored and sustainable routine to fit my health goals, with very detail-oriented attention to my specific needs. Her approach to fitness as a way to increase mobility and longevity (rather than the traditional focus on aesthetics or weight loss as a primary goal) has been so refreshing. Working with her has been a tremendous asset to me and I feel the benefits of it every single day!“

“I have been seeing Cheree at Pilates Edmonds for over 12 years. When my wife first suggested I try pilates I thought it was going to be easy and a waste of time. I was wrong. Some workouts are very difficult-especially when learning how to do the exercises properly and isolating the muscles we are targeting. I wish I had training like this when I first started in sports as a young kid. I have finally learned a lot of proper techniques for stretching, building core strength (yeah, we think we have it as young athletes but do not) and most importantly for me dealing with injuries and their aftermath. Both sports and my career have lead to injuries resulting in developing ways to compensate and work around these injuries. Cheree has taught me ways to overcome these injuries both old and new. She helps me to not only continue in the sports I love but to regain some of the strength and abilities I thought I had aged out of. I view my time with Cheree as not only some of the best strength training I have ever had but also some of the best physical therapy. Without Cheree I would not be able to enjoy life and sports the way I do today.“

Bodies By Kristina Trainers

“Kristina is a top notch personal trainer that stands out from other trainers I've tried working with. I always have a lot of fun and learn a lot when I work out with her. Every session I have with Kristina has me feeling energized afterward and boosts my mood. I've already gained a lot of strength around previously injured joints, which has provided a lot of relief and improved my quality of life, after just couple of months of working out with Kristina twice a week! It's also worth mentioning that my posture has improved and I'm seeing changes in the way I look that have me feeling like my old self again :) Here are some specific skills that make Kristina stand out to me:

*Exceptional feedback* Kristina carefully observes me when I'm learning the form and building up strength for movements. I'm not sure how she can see some of the things she gives me feedback about lol, but she always ensures that my form is correct and I'm drawing strength from the correct body part as well as the correct specific muscles. Kristina is also very clever at providing metaphors to help me understand how to get my brain to consciously use muscles that I haven't yet built up ab awareness of. I can feel that I do a lot more work during my sessions with Kristina compared to other trainers because her clear, direct and concise feedback helps me just kind of get what she's asking of me after a couple tries. For context, I've always noticed that verbal instructions can be more challenging for me. It was an a-ha moment for me when I realized the way Kristina explains things clicks for me. That streamlined communication allows me to get more out my sessions.

* Directly supports clients execution of movements* Kristina is always respectful and checks in with me during our workouts. Since I'm comfortable with it, Kristina also helps me pick up new movements by pointing to the the muscle I should be using, bracing me from compensating with dominant muscle groups so I'm able to learn to channel the muscles that need the most strengthening or just providing support when I'm still building up strength for a movement. It reminds me of the ballet instructors I progressed the fastest with when I was young. Also, like every good coach, Kristina knows when to let go.

*No workout hangovers* I always feel like I've pushed myself after every session, but don't get day after soreness like I would with other dance/fitness classes I've previously tried. All I feel is results :)

* Good motivator* It's always encouraging when Kristina acknowledges my improvement and keeps our workouts fun by letting me take a crack at more advanced movements. It's really surprising some of movement I've been able to start pulling off with her help. I feel motivated to keep up the good work when Kristina demos ways I can eventually extend on what I'm learning.

I initially began looking into sessions with Kristina to build up enough strength to go back to dance classes, but I'm having such a good time and feeling so much better that I plan to stick with my sessions with Kristina!“
