About Rain City Fit
Rain City Fit is a thriving gym, known for its constant expansion and diverse equipment. It serves as a "third space" for many, being a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can meet close friends and feel comfortable asking for help. The gym is particularly known for its body positivity and inclusion of queer individuals. Rain City Fit is dog-friendly. Locals training there were kind and helpful. The place is constantly expanding in space and new equipment is added weekly if not daily. Ben the owner actually cares as do all the staff. It just looks like a storefront but walk in and it goes on floor after floor, taking over the block. Plenty of racks to squat & bench in, multiple deadlift platforms, chalk bowl and some specialty bars. They do have reduced rates for family/friends drop in if you're a member.
The gym is fantastic, the vibes are great, the decor and building are unique. But the cherry on top is the MEMBERSHIP PRICING. Unlike literally EVERY other gym, RCF has no BS joining fees and they have membership options for durations of a day, week, month, or year and it's all fully transparent on their website.
I have finally found a gym that cares about ethics and their customers.
Tried this place out for a week and it’s great. Gonna do a full membership while I’m in Madrona. Gym is huge. My mind was blown when I got to the second floor because I spent my first 5 days on the first floor. It’s also cool I can bring my dogs. Manager is real chill and the environment is super welcoming. I’ve heard it gets packed evening hours, but I’ve always gone before 1pm and am never fighting for equipment.
Such an amazing facility! Coming from Vancouver it can be hard to find a good gym but Rain City had everything you could possibly need. Every room is such a vibe. The owner, staff and community are so sweet. Thank you for welcoming us in :)
