About Rain City Fit
Rain City Fit is a thriving gym, known for its constant expansion and diverse equipment. It serves as a "third space" for many, being a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can meet close friends and feel comfortable asking for help. The gym is particularly known for its body positivity and inclusion of queer individuals. Rain City Fit is dog-friendly. Locals training there were kind and helpful. The place is constantly expanding in space and new equipment is added weekly if not daily. Ben the owner actually cares as do all the staff. It just looks like a storefront but walk in and it goes on floor after floor, taking over the block. Plenty of racks to squat & bench in, multiple deadlift platforms, chalk bowl and some specialty bars. They do have reduced rates for family/friends drop in if you're a member.
Hands down the best gym in Seattle new equipment weekly if not daily The place is constantly expanding in space and nothing stays broken more than a day It just looks like a storefront Walk in -- it goes on floor after floor and is taking over the block Ben the manager actually cares as do all the staff Great attitude by staff and if someone gets outta hand they "talk" to them It is by far the best gym Plus so many bathrooms I can't keep count - check it out
Been a member for 3 years now. Love it! Great nonjudgmental atmosphere. No gym-bro vibes. They continue to expand into new rooms and get more equipment. Great all around. Just wish they had some sort of punch-card pass/reduced cost options for multiple drop ins without membership for my friends and partner who want to pop in with me a few times a month. Update: they do actually have reduced rates for family/friends drop in if you're a member! Just email Ben, the owner of the gym. :)
Dropped in for two day passes while traveling in Seattle, great facility. Plenty of racks to squat & bench in, multiple deadlift platforms, chalk bowl and some specialty bars for powerlifting. The locals training there were kind and helpful pointing me in the right direction for equipment. I would definitely recommend dropping in and catching a session if you're in town.
