I've been visiting this studio on and off for a few years, and even after a long absence, it's so refreshing to return to such thoughtful and encouraging teachers and classes that are interesting and fun, while still challenging. Pilates studios can be intimidating -- all the machines and props! or they can feel like a club with dim lights and a focus more on aesthetics -- but I just love the vibe at the hub, it is sooo welcoming, bright, and airy, and the instructors provide individualized tips and augmentations where needed. Plus they have cute merch! I make the trek across town here and there when I can to take classes at the hub, and am hoping and wishing that one day they'll open up another location in the central/south area!“
“I’ve been going to Barre3 in Edmonds for two weeks and I’m hooked! I love the clean and inviting environment, the friendly upbeat staff, and the variety of class options that are offered. Barre3 is a great workout - the different equipment options and modifications make it feel tough but doable from the start and something that you can continue to make challenging as you grow. I definitely recommend this studio!“

3333 Wallingford Ave N, Seattle“I started at Studio Evolve this year with private lessons with Erin and Elli and I am now going into regular classes. I loved the private lessons as both of them met me where I was and helped me be more connected with my core and breath. Already, the work has helped me outside the studio in my running and strength training, with faster run times and ability to lift more with minimal soreness.
It was an easy transition to classes and all the instructors have been incredible in modifying workouts for your level. The small class sizes are a bonus too because you get so much personal attention that it feels like you’re in a private lesson anyway. You also feel very comfortable regardless of skill level because everyone, including fellow classmates, are so supportive and encouraging. Definitely recommend Studio Evolve to anyone who wants to add to their workout routines, recover after injury or just wants to be more connected with their body.“

505 5th Avenue South Suite 3A, Edmonds“As a person with hypermobile joints and chronic pain, I was always recommended to try pilates but felt super intimidated! I chose this studio after reaching out to a few studios to find an instructor who had experience with my specific needs and ended up starting privates with Kristen. That was a year ago and I can't even believe how much my body (and mind!) has benefitted from pilates! I'm so much stronger and my joints are so much happier. Kristen is an amazing instructor who strikes the perfect balance of pushing me to try new things that challenge my limits, while making sure I'm not overdoing it or sacrificing form.
The classes are also incredible, and I LOVE that they're limited to 4 people so I always feel like I have support if I need it. Every instructor I've taken a class with has been so lovely and they each have different styles. Karla has really created a beautiful community of welcoming, talented people who are happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Very grateful to have found Woodway Wellness!!“
“I had my first Pilates class and I loved it. I left feeling energized, strong and taller :). Ilka is very knowledgeable, fun and professional. It was a very productive one hour class ever!!! Learn a lot. I highly recommend!“

“Studio 45 is a neighborhood gem! Classes are challenging and the exercises can be modified for all levels. Don't let the "low impact" fool you -- the slow and controlled movements will really activate your muscles and leave you feeling tighter and stronger. The instructors here are great, machines are clean, and the 45-minute classes fly by.“

Staff are friendly and over 5 years got to know several other folks on a similar schedule. There can be rush times with lots of buff dudes but as a consistent 6:30 - 7:30 am user we never had to wait for machines. Highly recommend for the value and friendliness“

201 Main St #103, Edmonds“I have been seeing Cheree at Pilates Edmonds for over 12 years. When my wife first suggested I try pilates I thought it was going to be easy and a waste of time. I was wrong. Some workouts are very difficult-especially when learning how to do the exercises properly and isolating the muscles we are targeting. I wish I had training like this when I first started in sports as a young kid. I have finally learned a lot of proper techniques for stretching, building core strength (yeah, we think we have it as young athletes but do not) and most importantly for me dealing with injuries and their aftermath. Both sports and my career have lead to injuries resulting in developing ways to compensate and work around these injuries. Cheree has taught me ways to overcome these injuries both old and new. She helps me to not only continue in the sports I love but to regain some of the strength and abilities I thought I had aged out of. I view my time with Cheree as not only some of the best strength training I have ever had but also some of the best physical therapy. Without Cheree I would not be able to enjoy life and sports the way I do today.“

52 Lakeshore Plaza suite b, Kirkland“Kristina is a top notch personal trainer that stands out from other trainers I've tried working with. I always have a lot of fun and learn a lot when I work out with her. Every session I have with Kristina has me feeling energized afterward and boosts my mood. I've already gained a lot of strength around previously injured joints, which has provided a lot of relief and improved my quality of life, after just couple of months of working out with Kristina twice a week! It's also worth mentioning that my posture has improved and I'm seeing changes in the way I look that have me feeling like my old self again :) Here are some specific skills that make Kristina stand out to me:
*Exceptional feedback* Kristina carefully observes me when I'm learning the form and building up strength for movements. I'm not sure how she can see some of the things she gives me feedback about lol, but she always ensures that my form is correct and I'm drawing strength from the correct body part as well as the correct specific muscles. Kristina is also very clever at providing metaphors to help me understand how to get my brain to consciously use muscles that I haven't yet built up ab awareness of. I can feel that I do a lot more work during my sessions with Kristina compared to other trainers because her clear, direct and concise feedback helps me just kind of get what she's asking of me after a couple tries. For context, I've always noticed that verbal instructions can be more challenging for me. It was an a-ha moment for me when I realized the way Kristina explains things clicks for me. That streamlined communication allows me to get more out my sessions.
* Directly supports clients execution of movements* Kristina is always respectful and checks in with me during our workouts. Since I'm comfortable with it, Kristina also helps me pick up new movements by pointing to the the muscle I should be using, bracing me from compensating with dominant muscle groups so I'm able to learn to channel the muscles that need the most strengthening or just providing support when I'm still building up strength for a movement. It reminds me of the ballet instructors I progressed the fastest with when I was young. Also, like every good coach, Kristina knows when to let go.
*No workout hangovers* I always feel like I've pushed myself after every session, but don't get day after soreness like I would with other dance/fitness classes I've previously tried. All I feel is results :)
* Good motivator* It's always encouraging when Kristina acknowledges my improvement and keeps our workouts fun by letting me take a crack at more advanced movements. It's really surprising some of movement I've been able to start pulling off with her help. I feel motivated to keep up the good work when Kristina demos ways I can eventually extend on what I'm learning.
I initially began looking into sessions with Kristina to build up enough strength to go back to dance classes, but I'm having such a good time and feeling so much better that I plan to stick with my sessions with Kristina!“

2215 Queen Anne Ave N #2313, Seattle“I enjoyed a private class very much, but when I came to group class, I could tell it’s not suitable for beginners even though they announce beginners are welcome. It was definitely inspiring to see all these women being so strong but unfortunately I am not one of them now. So I would appreciate if Inspire introduces more classes for beginners since now it’s only one a week and it’s hard to book. I’d like to continue training but more smooth rather they offer, as I don’t feel it’s for the good when my body is so stressed by intense class.“
“I've gone for over 6 years and it's an amazing studio. Kristin is amazing; professional, hilarious and instructs. “
