“Yesterday I have a scratched cornea, I have had several, unfortunately I have only one eye that actually has sight, which is the one I scratched. I couldn't drive as light and having glasses that were to old. My husband was all the way in Seattle. They asked for pictures which I sent, as I was in the worst pain, crying, and ended up with a migraine. They IMMEDIATELY GOT ME A PRESCRIPTION, and texted me through out the day to see how I was doing. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY MEDICAL OROFESSION BE SO EMPATHIC, CARING, AND CALMING IN MY NEED. This is the place that ALL MEDICAL PRACTICES SHOULD TAKE NOTES FROM ❤️ I again am so appreciative, for them going that extra mile for me. I will always remember him and their team, his wife is amazing and even contacted me at 8pm, just to see how Ibwas doing. Thank you again for everything, melts my ❤️Stephanie Norris“

“I highly recommend Cascadia Eye, Doctor Dan Siapco, for his caring demeanor, skills and expertise as a doctor and surgeon. After an eye exam he recommended me to Doctor Jean Kassem for surgery for a vision impairment. The pre-op team and surgical team were very thorough, professional and a dedicated team. As well as nurses Janelle and Lani were caring throughout the process. The treatment throughout makes you realize they care for their patients.“

“I lost my glasses unexpectedly and was calling all over to see who took my insurance and who had availability. I called And they said the first appointment they had was a week and a half out and they could put me on the waiting list. I said okay and in one hour someone had canceled a appointment for later in the day and I was able to squeeze in. I am not local to this area and was very happy that they were able to take me and my insurance. When I arrived the receptionists were all very welcoming and as I waited I noticed how clean and home like it was compared to other places I have been seen. I was called back for my exam and the lady who did my 1st exam was kind and patient with my inability to keep my eye open during the air pressure test. I went in for the second part of the exam and was immediately comfortable with Dr. Eberhardt, he was very knowledgeable and explained to me my slight astigmatism and as we talked I asked about food to eat for eyes and what type of diet I should keep to for longevity in my eyesight (eye issues and blindness due to diet are common in my family) he gave me very good medical advice and before I knew it the exam was over. The glasses I was selecting from (economic package deal) were very nice and I had many options to choose from which usually is not the case in other offices I had been to in the past. If you are looking for a great prescription, welcoming staff, and a knowledgeable optometrist. I would highly recommend his office.“

“I can not say enough good things about Americas Best. They listened to my concerns, explained everything they done and why it was needed. Even double checked my pressure in eyes because it was concerningly high the first time. Second time it was better. Very professional from the time I walked in to the time I walked out.“

“I am so happy I had upgraded lens replacement surgery on both eyes! I am writing this review without my glasses, which makes me smile. Overall, a very good experience with NW eye. The surgeon is just delightful and I am still healing/getting used to my eyes (only been 1 week since the second eye) but I can tell already that this was a great decision for me. I'm only 62, but I had the beginning of cataracts (I am told this is very common at my age) and my vision was getting worse. I was so sick and tired of readers on-and-off, and it was a nuisance for teaching--had to perch glasses on the end of my nose. No more--I can read my lessons and talk to the students without any correction now. Upgraded lenses are expensive, but insurance paid for half of the total due to the cataracts, which are covered--I just had to pay for the special lens.My lesson learned to pass on is to get the second eye done as soon as comfortable. I think I had a harder time adjusting to and recovering from the first one because the upgraded lens are meant to work with each other. Once I had the second one done, the first felt instantly better. The second eye recovery was so much quicker! They tell me each eye is individual in how it recovers.OK--so why not 5 stars? I had to dock them one for the often frustrating lack of cohesion between the BHam clinic and the Mt. Vernon surgery center. I LOVE the way Mt. Vernon runs, and the staff are so nice and friendly. Not the same vibe in BHam. They are nice, but not as customer-service oriented. Just getting through to a human on the phone is a challenge, and you might get different versions/opinions from different doctors and staff in BHam. They all seem a little green. The call center doesn't always have accurate information. My only note about Mt. Vernon is that the discharge person is a bit abrupt and physically rough--which is a bit disconcerting when you are still a bit disorientated and feeling vulnerable right after surgery. (Both times so I know he wasn't just having a bad day).) It would be nice to have some of the more compassionate care you get before surgery. A last impression is just as important as a first one.“
