“I called for a quote a few weeks ago and had a couple of conversations, as well as email correspondence about our situation. We have an old tub that had been refinished once before and needed to be refinished again.In both the emails and over the phone, they were very helpful in answering my questions and explaining the process, as well as the pros and cons of this option vs. A new tub.While a new tub is not something we are considering right now, we opted for the refinished option.Jon showed up and we chatted about the process and expectations again.He was patient and honest.I can say that I've been in the service industry all of my life, and when you meet someone with actual integrity these days, which seems harder to come by, it means a lot.They are not here to price gouge or promise anything unrealistic, but they do exactly what they promise.Our tub looks fantastic and I now have a good understanding of how to care for the refinished tub to prolong the life of the work.I would definitely recommend these folks as a company to use if you are considering a refinished tub vs. Replacement.And, I think it's also worth it to mention they're half the cost of most the other quotes I got and still did a fantastic job!“

“Thank you Handyman Rescue Team! Our basement flooded (with sewage - eeeeesh!) last fall. Once mitigated with flood cuts, dehumidifiers, carpet/linoleum removal, Handyman Rescue Team came in and worked with us to rebuild everything better than it was before, but ALSO identified and replaced 4 leaky plumbing valves on our washer and utility sink, when they moved them to replace the flooring. They also replaced old hoses when they reconnected them, mitigating another potential water disaster in the future! Carlos has a great design eye and helped me pick superior replacement materials (vinyl plank floor in place of linoleum, and better carpeting from a different vendor).I love that Carlos and his assistant could do EVERYTHING that needed to be done to rebuild, so we didn't have to work with multiple contractors. Everything started on time and was completed in 6 days, as estimated. The only price change was minimal for the extra plumbing, which I could see with my own eyes needed to be done, and approved pricing with Travis before this work was added. Highly recommend!“

“We had the unfortunate surprise of finding asbestos during some home renovations. Steve came out to our home the next day to talk through the process, sampling, and pricing. He also allayed my fears about exposing my family to the hazards of asbestos. Steve was able to get me on the calendar within a few days. His team did thorough work and cleaned up after themselves. I hope we never need asbestos cleanup again, but if we did, we'd call American Environmental Construction.“

Start to finish this has been the only time I have ever hired a contractor and not only felt completely taken care of but also had the peace of mind that they had my best interest at the top of their priorities. When we met with Justin I had a vision (on a very difficult remodel) of how I wanted to rearrange my house. They able to understand my terrible explaining of what I wanted to do but also offer so many suggestions on things I would have never thought of to improve my basic plan. My wife and I could not be happier with the outcome but their guidance through the entire experience is what truly blew our minds. “ProForm just finished as General Contractor on our 2450 sq ft remodel + 650 sq ft addition. We had a great experience overall and would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family. We are thrilled with our home and the ways that Proform Builds worked with us, the architects, subcontractors (+the city, our neighbors) to make the project run smoothly and the design a reality.This was our first (and maybe only) big home project. It felt like the whole team at Proform Builds cared as much as we did about the success of our project and took a lot of pride in their craftsmanship. We were impressed with the quality of their work as well as all of the subcontractors they work with. I was very involved in making choices and following the progress but really appreciated how much I could count on Alex, our site supervisor, to be on top of all of the details, executing the plans well, educating me on the options, updating us on the schedule and any changes, listening and really understanding what we wanted. Some of the bids came in higher than we expected and Alex was great at helping us figure out what to prioritize now, what could be added later and what could be modified to be more efficient without losing the design. “This review is coming from someone who had a very difficult home remodel not too long ago. There was multitude of items that I felt my previous contractor could have done differently which could have prevented the situation from getting too stressful. So when we discovered dry rot in our carport during a walkthrough with another contractor for some touch up painting; I was having flashbacks. This job was unique in that it required both a roofer and a carpenter because it involved both types of structure. I had more than one contractor explain to me how to fix the problem but then promptly reject the job because they did not have a roofer on staff. Trying to coordinate two completely separate contractors is like trying to corral cats; you can't. One of the big advantages of going with Richard in our case was he had a roofer on staff. His outfit is sort of a one stop shop. Richard was very responsive in his communication and we replaced our deteriorating wood and updated our roof shortly thereafter to prevent further damage. Richard came in at the estimate we agreed upon at the beginning. We hope we don't have to do any major repairs on our home but Mallory Contracting will definitely be one of the outfits we reach out to for an estimate should the need arise. My wife and I were satisfied.“
