“I'm a little late, since I have had so much going on. I went into the Floor Store for what I thought was going to be a simple kitchen floor upgrade. That is when I met Walter, who was super friendly and professional from the very start. Well what is supposed to be a simple kitche floor upgrade, turned out to be an entire 1st floor flooring replacement thanks to a faulty dishwasher that flooded the first floor. Walter worked with me everystep of the way with kindness, understanding and professionalism. “We had Brad and the Deco-Crete team do a knockdown overlay on our pool deck after the original stamped concrete developed significant issues that worsened through the freeze/thaw cycle this past winter. Brad came out, assessed the deck, and laid out a realistic path to salvage it rather than tearing it out.

Every commitment they made — pricing and schedule — was kept. The crews were efficient and actually finished ahead of schedule. The finished deck looks better than the original design, and the knockdown overlay is noticeably cooler underfoot than stamped concrete, which matters a lot around a pool in the summer.

I’ll address something I’ve seen in other reviews: yes, Brad is hard to get a quote from. He’s clearly in high demand and juggling a lot. But here’s the tradeoff — once your job starts, he checks in daily and is extremely responsive. He’s hyper-focused on the customers and jobs actively in front of him, and it shows in the finished product. I’d rather have a contractor who’s locked in on my job when it matters than one who’s easy to reach but distracted on site. Take a look at the before and after photos... thy speak for themselves!

“We are long-distance customers fully renovating our 1970's Richmond home all the way from Hawai'i (5 hour time difference) and Lauren Atwell helped us through the process in grave detail and excellence.

I met her one time in person while I was home in Richmond and since then we've only communicated mostly through iMessage and FaceTime. If you work with Mosaic, you'll have access to lots of vendors - make sure to look through all their websites if you cant find something you like that was suggested by the designers.

Additionally - I found out that Lauren went to elementary, middle, high school, AND college with my husband - I was blown away by the small community of N Chesterfield and I'm so happy to be supporting our local friends. We live in a small island in Hawai'i and appreciate the sense of a strong community.
