I wrote a review several months ago after my first (and only) experience at the salon. I was coming to the salon after an at-home coloring experience to get a correction. I described it as a disappointing experience because Paul gave me “piecey” highlights and I was hoping for a smoother effect and I was stressed about the upkeep and how often I’d have to go back.
Let me say that it’s been about four months since my last visit and my hair is growing out beautifully- exactly what I hoped for; after the toner washed away a bit the effect was very well blended and really the effect I had tried to achieve with my own own at home experimentation.
The earlier review I left was unwarranted and premature. Paul really knows what he’s doing. I would trust him fully with my hair again if I ever moved back to the area. And for what it’s worth, he never contacted me to ask me to change my write up. I did it because he didn’t deserve anything less than a glowing review.
I had hair color done by Zaid, he is an amazing artist. I have dark hair that had black color on it. He got me to a pretty light ash blonde highlights. I will be back. Consultations are free and gives you a realistic idea of what options you have.

Also I've known Karina Simpson since highschool, she's always been rude and mean to everyone around her. She talks about being plus-sized, but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to others. She's been the culprit of breaking a few chairs by sitting on them so I don't blame anyone for pointing it out to her.

I have been looking for a new place that is welcoming and doesn't treat you like you are invisible. Well, Eden Nails is not new to me but I left them for a few years because they had gone downhill. On a whim, I decided to try them again and I am so glad I did. Chrystal is A-MA-ZING!!! So kind, great conversation, incredibly detail-oriented and I did not feel rushed or ignored. Ive visited many nail salons throughout the Annandale area. Raffine is by far the best. Customers are treated with respect. They listen to your concerns & make sure that you're doing okay. I had surgery on both big toes. They are healed but still slightly tender. Other shops didn't listen & they were a bit rough to the point when I got home my toes were sore for more than a day. Hands down, my feet feel great & i feel good about going back as well as referring others to Raffine Nail & Spa. Thank you do much for such a pleasant experience.

This is an underrated salon which I found by chance on Google. I appreciate that they provided the network password, which made it easier to pull up my inspo pics, and Hong helped me a choose a style that would best suit me. I got so many compliments on my haircut! Hong and her daughter were super friendly and helped me feel confident with my new cut.

I had several excellent massages here!! The massage therapist cured of a migraine when meditation failed to help me. She made that migraine DISAPPEAR. It was a miracle because usually my migraines last for DAYS. She's helped me multiple times: I injured my lower back and she helped breathe life back into my stiff back. The plan was to seek out Nicole as I'd read she was, "older (likely 50 years old), but has a slim petite body. " I got there and was greeted by at tall, thin Jennifer and was glad she was the one available / free. The pros are the nice tits, nice ass and the TS was great in that she has a two handed cleansing method that will definitely wake-up junior. While Jennifer has the size and shape I look for, she had a couple of cons: she hadn't shaved so there was a bit more hair than I would've liked, she will initially object to, but eventually agreed to keep the lights on (important for those of us as much into the visual stimulus as the tactile) and she is slow to and doesn't respond when you want a change of position or scenery. I don't know why because her landscape is great. I did meet Nicole on the way out, shorter but appears to be about the same age as Jennifer (mid-40's would be my guess) and I will try to get back there soon to visit her. These two make a good team, a lot like Angels Linda and Anna, in that one is tall with long legs and the other is shorter. One other con is that while both appear to wear skirts they are actually more like the things tennis players wear with shorts beneath. Both these ladies speak perfect English, but I find that the MTs who speak little to no English take direction better because they're looking for cues on what you want them to do. It normally only takes a hand gesture or a tap in the direction you want her to move, but I found Jennifer to be stubborn and intent on doing things her way. 0. 8 for the hour and 1. 0 for the lovely and the saran wrap BJ is great. Play safe.

I hired Elite Contractor Services to work on a bathroom. I've had some pretty bad experiences in the past with contractors, but this is the second time I've worked with Ken, and I'm a repeat customer for several reasons:
1. Ken is a fair and honest guy. I'm sure most homeowners know the way contractors do a good job of talking but don't have the follow through on the actual work.
2. Ken cares about doing things right. This project didn't require permits, but Ken won't take shortcuts just because inspections are inconvenient and take extra time - you want that in a contractor since it protects you down the line.
3. Ken wants 100% satisfaction and will come on site frequently to ensure things are done right and to the customer's expectations.
I tell everyone needing work done to give him a call. I love this bathroom, and I'm really grateful he was able to do this project too. You can tell the difference between this company and others - they set a high standard!

Very highly recommend GNA. We have hired them twice, for a master bathroom renovation and a kitchen renovation, and both results are exceptional. What really stands out are the crews - our two leads (Mario for the kitchen and Oscar for the bathroom) are detail-oriented craftsman as much as they are construction leads. I can't say enough about how good they are. And when the unexpected happened, Tyler in the office was super quick to lay out options and answer questions. Once they started, they worked long days (and a couple Saturdays) to get to the finish line. We would absolutely hire them again, and plan to.

I’ve spent a small fortune over the years on dentists of all types and in the end we do get what we pay for. Dr Johnson is clearly one of the best and he has an excellent bedside manner. Tough to find these days. He’s done an amazing job with his offices and with his staff, I don’t know how he does it. And as for the head hygienist whose name escapes me, she too, has the best bedside manner and sense of professionalism. I highly recommend Dr Johnson and the hygienist.

This place was hard to find. Just like any other massage place. The Korean couple there did the massage to different people in the same room. The male did not speak English. No extra conveniences were provided. No seat adjustments offered. They made it mandatory to tip, which to me was redundant since I am directly paying for their service.

The session I had almost cleared up my aching neck and shoulders! The acupuncture session was followed by an electro stimulation massage. It didn't hurt, just felt like a strong vibration; sometimes my fingers would twitch but it was just an odd sensation not an unpleasant one. The acupuncturist checked in several times during the massage to make sure I wasn't in pain. Afterwards I could turn my head side to side almost without pain! The assistant/receptionist said I needed one more session to finish treatment and I immediately agreed after feeling the results.

I've had normal periods my entire life until recently. I experienced heavy bleeding every 30 minutes , blood clots, and spotting up to 12 days before my period. Nothing in my life had changed to cause such a drastic change other than taking a round of antibiotics. Of course the ER and OBGYN recommended birth control to stop the bleeding , but as we all know that's a temporary fix with lasting side effects. Doctors and even Google searches came up saying that antibiotics have no effect on menstruation. We all know the effect it has on the gut which is really the gateway to health. Not to drag this on, but I came to Dr. Kim, because my mother would go for nerve/muscle pain. I came in and told him about the heavy bleeding and spotting I experienced. I did 14 sessions with Dr. Kim, and yes a little pricey $60.00 if you pay in cash. He did the acupuncture and gave me herbs. I'm happy to say, that the periods are back to normal and so far no mid cycle spotting. The acupuncture gave me the best sleep of my life, helped regulate my bowels as well as periods. If you're a woman, and are experiencing abnormal periods please try acupuncture! It is costly but be committed to the sessions and the diet Dr. Kim recommends and you'll be feeling great in no time. The team is fast and they get you in and out within 30 minutes. This isn't a place where you will talk a lot to staff or the doctor, it's pretty straightforward. You mention where the pain is and Dr. Kim treats you. It is true that you have to be consistent to see change. Once you do, I would recommend maybe once a month. Thank you Dr Kim and team.
