This place is absolute magic. It’s often extremely difficult to get thoughtful, personalized care for chronic illnesses, especially for symptoms that don’t align neatly with well-established, well-researched diagnoses. In those instances, the burden is on the patient, who’s already dealing with their symptoms, to be their own advocate against the current of the very textbook-driven American healthcare system.

Just had a session with Thuan again yesterday. I Knead It is a haven amidst a chaotic sea. The work that Thuan is doing for his patients, for me, is groundbreaking. I have never met a more profoundly effective healer. Versed in many techniques that are based in Eastern and Western medicine, Thuan is able to use his unique set of listening and healing abilities to bring to bear on whatever malady his patients are facing.
