They were reasonable on price, attentive to my wants/concerns, ran an honest crew, and always stayed in communication with me so I wasn't left guessing what's next such as project delays or what subcontractor would be showing up at my house next. It took me 2 years to find a contractor that would show up; all other contractors either ghosted me or intentionally priced themselves out of the job. We purchased our new construction home a year ago, and within the first two months we began experiencing issues with frequent toilet clogs and low water pressure. When we first called, the company sent Jeremy, who was dismissive and simply said it was a clogged toilet. The problem returned multiple times, and despite having someone come out four times, nothing was resolved. We finally had to hire another company for a second opinion, and they discovered a belly in the line. Pipe Doctor later confirmed this and sent someone to fix it.

Unfortunately, the issues came back again. When I called, the receptionist was extremely rude and transferred me to service without letting me finish my question. Over the next two weeks, two more technicians came out, but again, nothing improved—until James and Daniel showed up.

James and Daniel were outstanding. They quickly diagnosed the issue, resolved it within a week, and even addressed our water pressure problem that no one else seemed to care about. They went above and beyond, checking in afterward to make sure everything was still working properly.

The only reason this is a 5-star review is because of James and Daniel. They truly cared and made sure we were taken care of. I hope to never call Pipe Doctor again, but if i did, I would specifically request them.“

“Over the last several months we’ve had to do several upgrades and repairs to our home that we weren’t exactly planning on. All new ductwork under the house, adding some safety measures on our HVAC, upgrading our electrical in several places and a whole new electrical panel just to name a few things. In the beginning when we started the electrical I received several estimates from reputable companies because I needed quality work for a reasonable price and I was raised to shop around! Every other company came back with astronomical prices and many upgrades that were not recommended by Hiller. So I continued my research and spoke with electrical inspectors and even the electric company because one company said I needed to replace everything to the junction point where our electric comes in. I didn’t share any of that with any of the gentlemen that came to give me estimates. Hiller was the only company that gave me an honest estimate and scope of work. While they were here doing that work I mentioned that we were having a horrible time keeping our house cool this summer. One of the gentleman that was under the house took pictures of our problems and showed us exactly what was going on. We didn’t ask him to do this but out of kindness he did it. Not one time did he try to sell us anything but when I asked him to have someone come out to look there was someone here the next day. There were a TON of problems with it and we were having some serious medical issues at the time. EVERYONE that we had contact with (probably 13-14 different people) was kind, knowledgeable, and willing to do anything to help. They were able to patch some things and make our home safe until we were able (because of health and weather) to have all of the repairs done. They asked for nothing upfront like most companies wanted and didn’t charge us anything until all the work was completed and we were completely satisfied. Everyone was here when they said they would be, explained everything, stayed and did quality checks on all their work, cleaned up after themselves and even put my furniture back in the right places when they were done! I could not have asked for a better experience! When I would tell these gentleman how grateful I was they were almost embarrassed. They had wonderful things to say about the company they work for and that told me a lot!!! Charlie, Brandon, Jayshawn, Spencer, Dustin, Joseph, Jeremy, Jayden and everyone else please know how much we appreciate you and the work that you completed!“

“Had a great experience with The Plumbing Authority today Jake Newman came to the house for repair of a leaking bathtub but when checking my water pressure was extremely high almost double what it should be. He was able to repair the leak and replace the regulator for the water pressure in just a few hours. Very professional and courteous to my family and myself. Again great experience and will definitely use again.“

“I’ve had an intermittently slow drain in my kitchen and laundry sinks for about two years. I’ve always been able to get things draining again by running through things with my drill-powered snake. This time, though, that just didn’t make it work. I called one company who said they could water-jet the pipes clean. They could not get their equipment to do the first significant turn in the pipes, though. They suggested digging up the concrete floor of my laundry room (the main door we use to get in and out of the house) and rerouting the drain completely. He quoted $19K for the job, which would still leave my laundry room floor gravel because they don’t do concrete or tile. So I called another local plumber who said he was not equipped to handle this depth of clog, and he suggested Kington. They came out a few days later, and Lane was able to clear the problem within an hour and for about 1.5% of the estimate for unnecessarily rerouting my drains and less than they charged to not accomplish anything with their other attempts.

Tl;dr Call Kington first if you’ve got a clog. They have the tools and the skills to get the job done.“
