“RS Reinford Mechanical Top notch service, even after the install years later still provides service like no other. Even on the Big 250th Anniversary of our country! My Ac decided it wanted a break and stopped working. One call to Ryan is all it takes, even on the Forth of July. Ryan responded to my call immediately and said we will be out! RS Reinford had it up and running on one heck of a hot weekend! This is why I will not use anyone else for my Heating and Air Conditioning needs..The service from this company is hands down the best. “We were in the market for a better solution to temper our home. When we moved into the house there was a single zone for the entire house - this led to some pretty extreme temperature fluctuations room to room. We had been in the market for a solution for several months, getting a few quotes and recommendations along the way from different companies.

Scott from Burkee came out and gave us a couple of options, explaining the benefits and draw backs to each option. One option was to zone our existing HVAC system since ductwork was already run to each room, this being the most cost effective but could result in additional run time on the existing unit, not that it couldn’t handle it, it was more a concern of wear and tear on the unit. He also provided us with three different iterations of installing a new unit that would serve one portion of our house. These options had different price points which Scott laid out in a detailed cost breakdown sheet describing the added features/functionally with each option. Scott was very receptive to questions and adjustments to the quotes. It was very easy to get along with him throughout the whole process, there was no pressure or gimmicks.

We did end up going with Burkee for this scope of work, we ended up going with a new unit to serve part of our home. Of course we choose to do the installation right at the beginning of the summer which led to Burkee having a small backlog of customers waiting for new installations. The Burkee team was transparent and up front about their schedule, for our job in particular they had an opening where they were able to start the job for a couple of days early (as they had another customer cancel) however after that initial two days they had another customer commitment they had to honor - they were clear and set expectations up front so there wasn’t any surprise - we had also told them that we were flexible and not in dire need of this installation right away.

Sean ended up being our lead installer for the job - he was excellent. He was detail oriented, explained every step of the way, making sure that there weren’t any surprises. Every day he was working in our house he would be kind and personable, learning a little about both myself and my wife along the way. The installation quality was top notch, the new grilles/registers are straight and centered in the room. Part of this installation was in our attic space, even that work was neat and tidy, they made sure everything was zip tied, secured, strapped, etc - even in a space that most homeowners will only see once or twice a year at most. It sounds odd to say, but we actually enjoyed the installation of our new HVAC unit, having Sean and his team around was entertaining and enjoyable.

We did end up having a small issue a couple days after they finished the installation (as it turns out unrelated to their workmanship or unit quality). They came out the very same day to look and “fix” the unit. The issue was related to the condensate pump having a faulty float that tripped the auxiliary contact on the unit causing it not to run. Regardless of the issue - Burkee came out right away to investigate and correct the issue, no hassle or hoops to jump through.

We were very impressed with Burkee from start to finish. Looking forward to working with them in the future. Highly recommend giving them a call.“

“Omar B was our service technician and was very personable and informative as to what the problem was with the unit which was making a strange noise. He showed me what the problem was he found and what he did to fix it.
I advised the unit is 37 years old and wouldn’t have been surprised if he needed to replace it. He said to count every day/week we still have it running as a blessing and to just be aware it will need replacing sooner rather than later.

“Matt Hamilton and his apprentice/daughter, Charlene were at my home about a month ago. I should have written this review that day!!! I was convinced I was probably going to have to install a new forced air heater. I had started to notice the heater ran almost constantly. Would shut off and restart after 6 minutes around the clock. A friend told me the heating element probably needed replacement. ANYWAY, after being here for maybe 1/2 hour or 40 minutes, I started to get nervous as to what the problem was. Turns out, the FILTER needed to be replaced!!!! Hell, he could have told me that the Johnson rod and the catalytic converter both needed to be replaced for $700 - I sure wouldn't have known any better (LOL). Total time and labor - $120.

He and his daughter were professional, honest, personable and MORE than helpful (came the very next day after my call, too)!!.

So in summary, what I'm saying is you may not be as lucky as I was for such a minor issue with the filter BUT if MATT says it's the JOHNSON ROD or the REAR STRUT, you can BELIEVE HIM!!!

I might have to write another review so I can give them 5 MORE STARS!!!
